Food was as I had remembered, been 10 years since last visit. Portions good. Side selection was excellent. Bar Tender was exceptional.
Steaks were very good slightly undercooked and lobster tail was perfectly cooked. Best visit to this location yet.
Fast and friendly!
The last few times it has improved a lot now I could say it is almost great.
My wife and I ordered the filet minion and lobster tails since we had a free lobster tail coupon with any steak. We had the steak quesadillas which were okay and came with a pinch of sour cream and guacamole and lots of lettuce. It was extremely busy since it was Saturday. (You can imagine the noise level) but luckily we had a table in back which was better for the noise. Our steak and baked potatoes came and the server disappeared for a long time. When she surfaced we asked about the lobster which she ran back to get. We were 3/4 through our meal by now. I really enjoy going there but I would recommend doing so during the week when it’s less busy. It was rather spendy also even with the free lobster it came to $97.00. We just had Pepsi’s so there was not any alcoholic beverages. Overall we do like going there. We normally get a senior discount and it’s around $70. No discounts on the weekends I guess
For a Steak House, the steak wasn't that good. 4 of us had different cuts of steak and all had more than half of it was grissel.
The service was excellent and the food/ drink delicious! We had so much fun having dinner with our friends!!
Restaurant was very busy - yet food and service was great as usual.
Food was good but music in restaurant was up too loud
Food was great, service was great we didn’t have to ask for refills on beverages, food was hot and delivered perfectly after our appetizers.
We ordered the campfire feast for 2 which was a pretty good deal food was good, we got potato skins for our appetizer the potatoes were little under cooked but otherwise flavor was excellent. I had the filet mignon medium rare and it was so little chewy the very center was very tender again flavor was excellent. Husband had the prime rib and he said it was pretty good but then again a little chewy but very good flavor. Was a very quiet atmosphere would definitely go back again.
Quick courteous service. Nearby diners were noisy though. Meal was excellent as always.
Great establishment. My favorite steak house. My steak was slightly over cooked but when the manager stopped by to see if I was happy , I told him the steak was over cooked but that I would accept it ( I didn't want to wait for a new one to be prepared for me ). When the check came ,the steak was NOT on the bill, so the manager must have taken it off without informing me. This company TAKES CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS !!!!! I HIGHLY recommend them and we WILL be back.
I was very impressed with the service from the short wait tme. then taking us to the table and taking our orders. service was a little slow after taking our,
We really enjoy Black Angus, and would go more often but it's almost a 30 mile drive one way to get there for us... they closed the one that was closer to us
Service was wonderful. The waitress was right on top of refills without us even asking. The dessert the cookie we took home to our kids and it was so undercook that’s they won’t eat it.
Too much blue cheese and the steak was over cooked. Unfortunate too. I rarely spend 30+ plus on an entree because of that very thing. Paying for a dry steak is the worst. How could you turn filet into something chewy.
Little pricey but food was great and service was great. Service was quick.
Too expensive for the quality.
Belated Valentines night out
1 meal had wrong potato. Another the steak was cooked wrong then overcooked. Very disappointed with the food prep on 2 of seven meals. The service was good.
Food was cheap and tasted terrible. The service was awful. Took forever to refill drinks and clear the table. Wouldn’t recommend.
Was told they didn’t have my reservation but once I showed them my email they assured me they would seat me as agreed, which they did. However we waited over 10 minutes for anyone to come acknowledge us and offer us even a glass of water. Service was slow but competent. Food was good tho they changed their menu recently and some old favorites were gone. Then once we got home I got notice from open table that they marked my reservation as a no show which is in violation of open table policy. Not okay. ☹️
I was a bit frustrated as we had a reservation and still had to wait about 30 minutes for a table.
I requested a booth but was given a table. At least we were seated when we arrived. Black Angus really needs to build a restaurant in Bonney Lake Washington. That would relieve the extremely busy weekend patrons in Puyallup.
Went for Valentine's day. Had reservations, but had to wait only a few minutes to be seated. The waitress was very nice. Drinks and food were delicious. Have been here a few times before and it has always been good food and service. Definitely recommend reservations, as it tends to be crowded at this location.
The food and service was good. The only problem was that we were seated at a tiny table that was very near the bartender's area so it was quite noisy with lots and lots of foot traffic.
I booked online ahead of time because it was for valentine's day. I requested a booth. When we arrived they seated us at a table right next to another couple. They said there was no booths available. It made it difficult to have privacy. The waitress was great and the food was ok. I just feel like I could give a lot better review if we had received the booth I had requested
I understand that with it being Valentine's Day it would be busy. But our reservations were at 4:45 which is pretty early for dinner. It took approximately 30+minutes to get our main course and my steak was pretty burnt on one side. My "wild" rice was mainly white. And we had to pretty much ask for refills. We weren't allowed to use any coupons, so no I wasn't very happy. We've dined there many times before but never during a holiday. Didn't seem like they were quite prepared, unfortunate for us patrons
We got right in on Valentine’s night and had a nice table. Our server, Holley A. was a wonderful waitress. Would also like to say that we visited here a week prior and had dinner in the bar. Our server was Dean and he is fantastic. Tonight I tried the herb chicken for the first time and it was very good. Trying to go lower sodium so for my side I hade a plain potato with only pepper. Even that was outstanding. Artichoke appetizer cooked perfectly. Husband loved his steak.
Wonderful service. Excellent food. It was very busy but we were seated quickly since we made the online reservation.
Great food , with awesome service. We will be back for sure.
Great food. Great service. We had so much fun
Great prime rib
Everything was good as always except the server would no process my Open Table gift card. Said it has to be a hard card with magnetic stripe.
Will need to find some one else to try
36th Wedding Anniversary dinner...food was superb and service over the top. Was shown to a pleasant seating area. Very enjoyable celebration dinner.
We have visited this steakhouse several times over the years. This time was just to go have a nice quiet steak dinner for my husband and I. The food has always been great in the past but for some reason this experience was completely different. To start we were seated in the rear of the restaurant and it was fairly cold. The service was fair and we didn’t have to wait too long for our drinks, which were good. The bread was also good. But this is where it all stopped. The potato soup was Luke warm and had way to many onions in it and very few potatoes. But the worst was dinner. My ribeye steak was very tough and cooked to more of a medium than medium rare as I ordered. The au gratin potatoes tasted like they came from a box. The seasoning on the steak was good but honestly it looked a little grey which was off putting. My husband’s teriyaki steak was even more tough than mine but seemed to be cooked as ordered. The teriyaki sauce was excellent as always. He had the mashed potatoes with his meal and they were down rite cold. Not even luke warm. We ate what we could and decided to skip on the desert. We were disappointed enough as it was. After we had been home for about an hour I started getting sick and was sick all night and most of the next day. I dont know what has changed at this location but I have to say we won’t be going back again. So very disappointing.
Went in for our 24th anniversary! Black Angus has been the choice for us for several years now on this wonderful day! Today it just wasn’t the same. Food was off from its normal awesomeness...
Reservations are needed on Saturday night, it was packed! Got seated within 10 min of our reservation time. Staff was very friendly and personable. Food was excellent. We used the $49 dinner for two coupon. Appetizer, bread, entree with two sides each, and dessert. Such a great value for amazing food.
