The food was excellent. My boyfriend and I both had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection in just the way we asked. It was also his birthday and we ordered a dessert while he was brought a birthday cookie, the birthday cookie was a full dessert of the menu! And it was excellent!
My premium prim rib place. Like to go there once a month
Great food at a reasonable price. the lobster with steak was terrific. And Gonzalo, our waiter, was super.
we had a party of 7 celebrating a birthday and Mothers Day. The service was great, the food was delish, the steaks were done perfectly the wine pours were ample and we all had a great time. My husband and I look forward to going back soon. My daughter and her friends go there often.
The special is great. Free lobster tail with any steak!!! Love it. Great salads.
Great value, excellent menu, good service. The steaks arrived perfectly cooked and hot. The added lobster tail enhanced the meal.
One of our best experiences
Food was served nice and hot. We didn't wait long for service, drinks and food. Great experience. No complaints.
Love the prime rib and four chocolate torte. Sitting in a booth makes it so easy to talk. No yelling needed.
We had dinner with friends and everything was great. The steak, salmon, and lobster all tasted excellent and were cooked to order. You get a large amount of food for the price.
After I checked in for our Reservation we were immediately forgotten. After the last party came and went I asked the hostess if all the folks, who came in after us, had an earlier reservation? She checked and realized that we had been forgotten. Other than that our server and food were perfect and we will be returning.
Really disappointed , was not bussy at all but even like that it took way too long to get a table not to mention the wait time to be ask about our drink.
Was NOT a very good visit .
As always, good food, reasonable and great staff !
The last couple of times I've been there, our food has been overcooked or lukewarm., as well as not being attended to as much as before. Our experience in the last few years have been great, but not the past 1-1/2 years. Not sure if we'll be back.
Food was great and we enjoyed it :) we surely be back
This was a combo celebration, a birthday and Easter Sunday. Our server and the manager were attentive and gave excellent service. The rib-eye and the filet were excellent and prepared exactly as requested. The Caesar salad was huge and excellent as well.
The only disappointment was the Rack of Lamb...
1) not prepared as a rack, but separate chops
2) Therefore, even ordering according to the doneness chart in the menu, which said "for complete pink center order medium", they were over cooked. The server and the manager apologized and brought another complete order which was supposed to be "medium rare". However, (I think, again, because the chops were cooked separately) even the second order was too done - some pink, but not all the way through. My suggestion is the menu should read: Lamb Chops (rack cut into separate chops) not Rack of Lamb (cooked and served still connected = rack) Again, the other choices were prepared perfectly and the service was excellent.
We've always liked Black Angus and will certainly return!
Especially liked the lamb. We enjoy the Camp Fire Feast and the side options.
My husband and myself went there for our third year anniversary. It started out fine, but I ended up having to take my filet mignon back four times!! I ordered medium rare, and a professional chef should have no problem with this. I received my steak the first time and it was blood red, and the waitress agreed that it was not cooked enough. The second time my steak was well done, no pink at all, again the waitress agreed that it was overcooked this time. The third time my steak was not cooked enough again, but by this time my husband was almost finished with his dinner. I had asked for more rice as my rice was cold, but they said that they were out!! On a Saturday night! The time before when we ate there my husband's filet mignon was undercooked, but he said nothing. We love the food when it is cooked right and we eat there a lot, and we are not complainers, but may have to rethink eating here again because the last time was such a bummer, and it kind of spoiled our anniversary. Please think about getting a different chef because the one that we had certainly didn't know what he was doing.
Made a reservation through Open Table app as we always do for our Saturday's out. Even though they were very busy they got us in on time, got our drinks, menu's and order placed quickly. Our appetizers showed up also within minutes after being seated. Waiter was very attentive during and after our meal which can be rare at other restaurants.
Food was excellent and served as ordered.
Sound level was great in a booth.
We've eaten there for years and have never really had a bad meal or service.
Really enjoyed my birthday celebration! Prime rib and lobster tail....delish!!
Always good service, and the food is consistently good. Especially like it for, other than a few areas, it is private seating booths. Great place to meet and have good meal and conversation where you can hear each other and not other people.
We went here on our anniversary with our kids. We always enjoy this place. We love the food but today my food was cooked better than usual. Then they brought out a mini cake to celebrate our anniversary and they kids loved it. Great place for any occasion
Black angus steaks are the best! They always cook the meat to your preference. Sides are fresh and well prepared. Drinks and desserts good too! But the very best of all is the fresh baked bread!
The food not as good as it used to be. Expected better quality for the price. Service was good.
Had a woderful birthday dinner (helped by birthday coupon). Service was great.
The appetizer plate was full of greasy food with celery sticks of different sizes thrown on. Awful junk food. I had the fillet steak which was served in a very flat shape and had gristle on it but it was cooked rare as ordered. The salad was run of the mill: unremarkable but the green beans were good. My husband had some sort of steak and struggled with it as it also was full
of gristle and had to spit out mouthfuls which were unchewable. If it were me I would have sent it back. My dogs however, did enjoy it without complaint. In fact, they wanted more. The mud pie was the piece de resistance and tasted excellent. Unfortunately the dinner was a disaster and I would never go back. Incidentally, the landscaping round the enterance matched the disappointing meals.
Delicious New York steak with tasty side dishes (salad and fully loaded baked potato). The BBQ chicken was a bit dry but the ribs was delicious and fork tender. Dine with extra value by using their coupons. The Campfire Feast (two entrees, one appetizer and one dessert to share) for $43 is a good deal. Server was also friendly and service was pretty fast. We'll be back for a good steak.
We were very pleased with the food and service. We ordered the feast for two, which was a very good deal and was pleased with the variety of choices and the amount of food included in the deal
The artichoke appetizer is delicious. Filet and salmon cooked perfectly and friendly staff !
We ordered several Campfire Feasts along with the sampler. The sampler portions were smaller than on previous visits. When the entree arrived, we received the thinest steak I have ever eaten. The meat was over cooked and tough. My wife's chicken was also overdone and dry. This was a family dinner to celebrate my wife's 75th birthday but the meal was not up to the normal standards for Black Angus. We were all very disappointed.
We come here a lot for our "family date-night". The food here has been consistently good. The horseradish is extra hot. Service is usually very good, but we have had the occasional slower/less attentive server. Management is friendly. The kids meal is a value. Beware of over-cooked meats however...We generally do medium-rare but we almost always end up with a well cooked steak (no pink). So now we order rare and it ends up medium-rare. Ambiance is pretty quiet and very country themed, not my style but still nice. Great semi-private booths. Price is reasonable but still slightly over $100 for a family of 4 if each adult has a drink. Definitely will keep going.
We always enjoy our steaks at Black Angus. They give me plenty of gluten-free options to choose from. There's even a dessert now! We really like their booths with the high backs for a sense of privacy.
Love the restaurant, the food, and the staff. The restaurant was cold because they had the air on. It wasn't even hot outside. Ask the manager if he could turn it up, but it didn't get any warmer. Left the restaurant after eating and even my nose was cold!
Just so/so. Filet Mignon was disappointing.
Service was okay ------ not special.
Always delicious food.
Rarely a long wait.
Good service and friendly staff.
Recommend it to anyone.
been going there since 1980 always GREAT... WE ARE THERE AT LEAST 5 TIMES A YEAR
Black Angus always proves to be consistently good. They rely on coupon business, so you can tell when a mailer has just hit - they are packed. The food is good, a little on the high side as far as price. It is a little annoying that you have to look for the little hidden "up charges" on certain items or coupons. Wish they wouldn't do that. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Lots of great choices on the menu, our server Jesus was very professional and a people person. Filet mignon and salmon were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We will be back !
We like the Black Angus for an everyday type dinning outing. It is very family friendly so it works well for us. Black Angus is great about running specials have having Coupon Offers, we always like taking advantage of the Campfire Feast Coupon which is a great savings. They have a bar so mixed drinks are available as well as beer and wine. We always bring our own wine because we are a little snobby when it comes to wine, they have an offering but nothing too fancy. I would recommend reservations at this location especially on the weekends. We will definitely be back:)
The staff is helpful and attentive. .........we had a 7:00 reservation, and arrived on time, to a full lobby. There was a modest delay, but not very long. We were shown to our table, and drinks were ordered. Food was ordered, and delivered on a timely basis. I had the fillet with a lobster tail. The steak was cooked just right, so was the lobster. Food and service was as good as expected. This was just one of many meals here. They have never made a significant error on my food or drink. Staff is well trained and courteous. Affordable not outrageous.
