We love going to this location on the way home. convenient location. great people and service.

Through no fault of the server the restaurant was severely understaffed this night. He probably had about 10-12 tables he was waiting on. We never got our salads and the manager wouldn't remove them from the bill. He did give my wife a free dessert but honestly that's it? Very disappointed this visit.

We've been to the Black Angus in Pleasant Hill many times, but this visit was not the best experience. Our waitress may be new because I had to ask for bread with our meal. Also, they had a difficult time getting the bonus bucks to work, so the manager had to over-ride. Overall experience this time was fair. Hoping the next visit will be much better.

The food was pretty good our appetizers did not come out of the same time. I waitress was very slow took forever to check on us and bring back our check and a piece of cheesecake took about 20 minutes to receive

We had a wonderful dinner. The service was excellent and food was delicious. The portions were very generous except the Prime Rib was on the small side with a big chunk of fat. Everything g else was amazing and we will definitely return to try some other things.

I had a reservation for 8:15. We got seated right away. There was quite a wait for our waitress to get our drink order and a good wait for our food. The food was good and the price is what you would expect from Black Angus. Overall good.

Very dissappointed..Had a new york steak..very tough..Had 2 pieces of brown lettuce in my salad. Not happy with them at the moment.

Not fantastic...but reliable. Like it because it is quiet with the big cozy booths. People who are hard of hearing will like this place. Bring the coupons in the paper...good deals.

Comfortable booth with high back gives fairly good privacy and keeps noise way down. Great but not intrusive service. Steaks done to perfection! All food done well.

Bar too noisy, staff and cook spread too thin with Warriors game going on. Food took too long and appetizers even longer. Very unusual, need better planning at the management level. Our server was great, not her fault at all. Thanks

We go to Black Angus once a month. The food is wonderful. Something for everyone. The service is fantastic!

Appreciate the coupons and specials Black Angus frequently offers. Food is always consistent and service is usually good. The perfect place for causal dining with family and friends!

The prim-rib had 40% Fat and the rest was ok. Talked to the manager, he agreed. Good guy.

Our meal was good. Service was not so good tonight. But, I like this restaurant for special occassions because the service is usually good. Its a good place for kids too, and elderly. Depending on the server, sometimes its great, sometimes it ok and sometimes, not so good. I was disappointed I did not get to use my $15 voucher for my feedback, due to all the restrictions. If one had to just order what they want from the menu, there should not be any restrictions on coupons.

The food is good but stay aware of what you ordered so it doesn't get mixed/messed up. Like many restaurants the big concern is turning tables and the employees work long hours so keeping the restaurant clean comes in like third or fourth place. As many times as we've been there we seem to always get stuck back by the kitchen and I'm just tired of it. Too expensive to sit there and hear the noise of it and have constant foot traffic passing by you. This place needs a remodel.

This was a special occasion dinner (Mother's Day). The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating on Mother's Day when our party grew unexpectedly. Food was great and our waitress was wonderful.

I made a reservation for three on Open Table for dinner on the day before Mother's Day. We were surprised by how busy the place was. It was clear the restaurant was overwhelmed; when we arrived for our 6:45 reservation, we were told that they had at least ten parties who had booked for 6:30 to seat before us. We were finally seated about 40 minutes later.
The waitress was very pleasant, but the service was slow. The two people in my party who ordered steak were satisfied, but my shrimp was horrible! The shrimp were flavorless, dry, rubbery, and definitely not 'jumbo' as the menu stated. I didn't complain, but I probably would have had it been less busy.
I would go back, but I'd stick to steak and I wouldn't go at a peak time.

For a busy night, the night before Mother's Day, the manager and hostess station were so overwhelmed and disorganized it was as if Black Angus had never seen a crowd before. It was so noisy in the waiting area and the hostesses and manager would " announce" the waiting guests names so quietly it was as if they wanted people to miss their name. They need an intercom system or the device that vibrates to alert the guest when their table is ready. Although we had reservations we had to wait an extra half hour beyond our time to be seated. Then the unpleasant server came over and proceeded to make the evening go from bad to worse. She only perked up towards tip time. The appetizers were adequate but not exceptional, however, the main course was good. That is about the only " good " thing I am able to say about this unfortunate evening. Their parking lot is dusty and and too small for big dining days ( holidays, etc) and the worst thing of all..... the bathroom was filthy and old. That tells me everything I need to know about their kitchen. I am so disappointed in Black Angus. They would do well to read my review. By the way Open Table asks what the noise level is, indicating it is too loud, open table uses the euphemism " energetic". It was too loud! I also feel I must mention, although we dined on a busy night, many of my above observations were also made and were the same complaints on a previous visit on a normal night. I gave them one more chance, but I feel they failed. The management had better review their procedures.

Nothing can beat the Campfire Feasts for Two. Fantastic choices of appetizers, "side kicks," entrees and dessert. We always find the food is cooked to order and consistent good quality. Generous portions of everything -- always enough meat to take home for another meal. Great wait staff -- friendly, accommodating and efficient. Just a word of caution: Come with a big appetite!

Good food at a great price. Generous portions! The grilled artichoke is delicious. My steak was tender and cooked perfectly (and so were 3 of the other steaks). But one steak was tough- not tender. Took a while to get my margarita, which was strange because it was not crowded at all. Consistently good. Nice booths!

Having been going to this location for many years. This was the first time we had a problem with food quality. The prime rib was below standard. We ordered the prime rib medium rare and the dish served was grey, tough and bland. Very disappointing.

Service was great, very friendly and professional ! Food always consistently good ! Enjoyed our dinner immensely! Love the artichoke appetizer !!
