It was pretty cold in the restaurant. Marred a great dining experience but good food and great service
Went here on Valentine’s Day with a reservation for 8pm. We were not seated until 8:40pm and did not get our food until an hour later which at that point it was cold and didn’t really taste right. I understand that they were really busy for the holiday but food should be hot when it arrived at your table, not like it’s been sitting there a long time without a heat lamp. It was also frustrating making a reservation but still having to wait as long as someone walking in to put their name on the list. We will not be back.
This was our first valentines date in 22 years. We went out for the first time since our kids grew up. We were really disappointed don't know if we will go back or just stick with Texas Roadhouse.
This particular Black Angus has become our go to place for special occasions and just general going out to dinner. Their menu choices and food selections are amazing, the staff is friendly and customer service driven. Wonderful experience every time!
We eat there often but this last trip was Valentines Day. I was very happy that we were seated as soon as we arrived ( had reservation). Was not very appreciative of the higher prices for everything just because it was a holiday or special occasion, we ordered less expensive items and they were not good. I will never make that mistake again by dining on a holiday. PS drink from bar was bad bartender must not know what he’s doing.ordered a Black Russian
We didn't have to wait long for a table but our table was in the old bar area which had TV's on which wasn't what we had in mind for Valentine's Day ~ the area was also not super clean. Our waitress was nice but seemed overwhelmed. Dinner took 2.25 hours, mostly waiting on things like our waitress told us our shrimp cocktail would be out as soon as they could find something to put it in and that they had already run out of dishes....our reservation was at 5:30 pm.
Food was good but overpriced for what it was ~ I would give them average.
It was a pleasant and delightful evening with delicious food and GREAT quiet ambiance. Service was just as great and very friendly. Seating was almost immediate.
Enjoyed our Valentine's date. Good service and good food.
We had a desert to go and it was never put in the to go sack with our other left over food from dinner. We had a waiter that had too many tables because he was not very efficient and we had to wait if we were in need of something. It was not what you would call a very special night as we had planned. The food was very good.
Happy I could make an online reservation, most places are just walk in. We had a great time, meal was great and I will be doing this more often! The two other restaurants lost my biz because I could not do what this restaurant and open table allowed me to do. That 30 min waiting outside a restaurant I could be using getting ready. Thanks!
it use to be a nice place....don't know if I would recommend anymore, sorry
It’s obviously a chain and I thought it was not. Service bad. Mediocre food at best.
nice and quiet. food was very good and so was the service
My husband and I always enjoy our meals at Black Angus, be it lunch or dinner. Service is sometimes a little slow -- but all-in-all the food is worth the wait!!!
Service was just a little slow, additionally one members steak was tough which for a filet mignon is very rare to happen. All in all still pretty good meal.
Service was extremely slow and felt like we were forgotten about most of the time. Was not busy at all so should be no excuse. Food was ok but not as good as last time we went there. Probably won’t ever go back there. Prices are higher than other places so we expected better.
Everything was good, however, they didn’t check me into opentable and I got a nasty email.
Great customer service. Excellent food.
Our waitress was very friendly, great personality.
My wife and I had Christmas Eve dinner there and the staff was amazing, welcoming, warm, and festive. We felt bad coming in on a holiday, but the staff put us at ease immediately. GREAT JOB!
Brittney, are server was amazing!! The food was perfect, as was our cocktails
We were there early on a Monday night and sat in the bar area. They did not have enough help. The service was not good.
I thought the food was pricey for the place and area .(Metro Center)
My sons burger was about $15.00. My very tiny piece of prime rib $21.50.
There are too many good reasonable priced places with enough help to choose.
They were so welcoming and accommodating to our large party!
Great steaks at very reasonable prices. Great ribs too!
It was my birthday and we had a Great Time and Food!
Was very crowded for Thanksgiving dinner, but having a reservation our seating and meal went smoothly.
Went for thanksgiving dinner which was excellent! Getting our check took 20 mins and we asked for it 3 times that was the only complaint.
Food and cocktails were fresh and tasty. Took a chance by being a first time diner there on Thanksgiving, but the price was right and we were not disappointed. Turkey dinners were tasty and well portioned. The environment is a bit more casual than I usually prefer but with excellent service from the servers, food runners and bartenders, I'm sure I will go back.
Everything was great until we went to the restrooms both the men’s and ladies restrooms were unclean. Otherwise we had a good time and enjoyed the food and service.
We have always liked going to Black Angus, very happy that the one at MetroCenter is still open. The food is always great, service is friendly and professional.
Tiny portion-sizes Tuekey not quite done Pumpkin pie not tasty
