I was extremely disappointed in the service. Extremely slow. Other tables seated after us in other sections had visibly better service.
We didn’t get any bread til after our meals arrived and had to request it twice.
It was for sure a busy night and we did not expect “Johnny on the spot” service. But we should not have had to ask twice for bread and then not get till our meal was brought to us.
My cut of meat did not taste like a filet. Thought it was more similar to sirloin. Didn’t not complain because it was still a good steak and how busy Place was. And how long service was taking.
Well to start, the waiter brought hard, stale bread to the table. My wife ordered a ribeye w/ a lobster tail and I ordered sesame teriyaki chicken all which were over cooked and partially cold. I must say, I was disappointed. It was my first time back to Black Angis in a few years now I remember why I stop going.
We saw the manager coming out with food and taking it to the wrong tables the whole time we were there. Must have been his first day. Our waiter brought us an item we didn't order and tries to leave it with us any way. We had to tell him no we didn't like it. Saw him do it to a few other tables too. I don't know what's happening to that place.
We came to celebrate our mother's birthday she enjoyed it Our service was excellent food was delicious.
Appetizer was amazing, food was ok. Waitress was intresting she might have been off her game forgot what we ordered for dessert right after we ordered. Also over charged us on our overall meal. Different waitress would have resulted in 5 stars.
Took my daughter here for a quick dinner on her 24th birthday. The food was good, steak prepared medium correctly ( something some of the finer restaurant mess up from time to time!) Delicious bread and appetizers were excellent! Overall great time! Thanks Black Angus, glad you are still around!
Easter Sunday
Nice location easy parking our food were great, as well as the service, really enjoyed the experience
Food and service was very good...!
Restrooms were horrible!!! If I would have them visited before dinner, I would have never had my dinner in this restaurant
Even with a reservation we had to wait and then we were seated in a booth in the bar area. So loud it was ridiculous and the service was horrible! The food was warm at best and we had to send back numerous items to be reheated. The server also forgot a portion of our food. Biggest waste of time and money.
We love the campfire feast! Great value! Enjoy coming here soley for that!
The food was excellent; we had the Campfire Feast For Two which offered more than enough food for two. The booth was comfortable and cozy and our server was very attentive and cheerful. I believe I heard music so it wasn't overpowering and didn't disrupt our conversation. We will return again soon.
Decided to have the steak and lobster tail deal and it was worth it! My top sirloin was cooked perfectly medium rare. The lobster tail was a good size and cooked well. My Cesar salad was delicious too. Never get tired of the molasses bread before my meal. Started with an Old Fashioned and it was perfect. Good job guys!
As always, the food at Black Angus was excellent. However, even though we had a reservation through Open Table, they didn't ask us but at first seated us in the bar which was so noisy we couldn't hear our own conversation. We had to find the hostess to ask her to re-seat us. At the very least we should have been asked if we wanted to sit in the bar before just taking us there.
However, after that, it was a pleasant experience, and the server in the main dining room was much easier to find than the server in the bar.
Nice restaurant not as dark as the cheaper diners.
Took almost 2 hours to get our food. Food was okay at best. Steaks were overdone and over seasoned. Salmon was over cooked and dry. Service was VERY slow at best. Reservation at 6:45, we were seated at 6:45 and did not get food until 8:48 pm!!!
We celebrated a friend's 65th birthday. Had our reservations and were seated right away. Friendly staff at the front desk as well as the wait staff. Our waiter was wonderful. Very accommodating. First thing they asked after bringing out the food was to make sure they were cooked properly and he waited for us to check. Mine was not and he immediately took it back to rectify. The manager brought the 2nd one out to apologize and make sure the 2nd one was correct. As long as a place attempts to correct what might have been wrong, I have no issues. We'll be back for sure.
Party of four for a birthday. Server was prompt without being rushed. Food was good quality in a nice setting. Used the campfire coupon and you couldn't ask for better value- so much food!
Good food and service was good. However the prime rib cut for my dinner was 85% fat. In the wagon wheel sampler, the potato skins were so hard, they looked to be too many hours old and just thrown on the plate. We had a party of 6 and both wagon wheels ordered had potato skins as aforementioned. This is not the first time we experienced the potato skins to be looking old and hard. Couldn't even get s sharp knife through them. Server Reese (?) was attentive even with the late night heavy crowd. May be awhile before we come back to Black Angus.
Lower end steakhouse, same a Sizzler. Not worth the time or money.
Always come to this one love it
We were quite satisfied with our dining. We don't go that often since they closed the one in Riverside, Ca. . We are always pleased with our experience when we go.
Good food and service. Enjoyed our night. Our waitress Jana was fantastic!
Server was excellent. Food was not what I'd expect for the price point. More like a Logans than black angus
Good food, yet waiter was so busy with other tables, I did receive the timely service I expected.
Wonderful and delicious!
Our waitress Megan was excellent. Didn’t have to remind her of anything, she was on it. The food was delicious and the cheesecake oh so good. We had a nice family outing.
The steaks are horrible , the so called jumbo shrimp are like small cocktail shrimp and dry and the king crab legs are far from king ... I have taken clients there twice
Food was subpar. Service basic and the bill experience. No more black angus for this family.
fast service. good food.
We visited for the third time in the last few months. Every time we had a family party of 4 adults and 2 children, and both the food and the service were excellent.
It was really nice, food was great, service was excellent.
Great service with good food as always. A great place to take the family.
I have eaten here plenty of times over the past 20 years and tonight is by far my worst experience and it started the minute we walked in.
I made reservations for 530pm (thank you Open Table). We got here at 515pm and the very first thing I said to the hostess upon checking in was that I would like a table in the bar (we could see there were plenty available) and we were brought to the table directly behind the hostess stand and closest to the door. That was a total a total no. I loudly voiced my displeasure and we were moved to a table in the bar.
We ordered our food, we are also not using any coupons by the way, and things started out ok. The nachos were good, my potato soup was really good, as always, my family got their steak entrees timely and cooked well but my jumbo shrimp cobb SALAD didn't arrive for 15 more minutes and was a pathetic excuse for an entree salad.
I'm normally really flexible and understanding but this just ticked me off. To have come so late and be pathetic just took the cake. So I ended up sending it back and asked for nothing else.
The manager did come by and I again voiced my displeasure and then found out I had been shorted shrimp by the kitchen!
Now I'm so ticked off that I have no appetite.
To top it off, I had ordered an $11 Patron Silver strawberry margarita that was completely weak as heck.
What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT TONIGHT. Do yourselves a favor and don't eat here unless you are desperate. There are plenty of other places to spend your money for a nice dinner.
This place always serves up a great meal and awesome service. If your fortunate to be there the nights Louis is working, ask for him. He's awesome!
The last 2 trips I have made to this Black Angus location I have not received very good service. The waiter & waitress each time did not do a good job with timing of delivering the food. The first trip he brought the appetizer about 10 minutes after our meal & the salad immediately before the meal. This trip she even made a comment that she had a hard time getting salads out before the meals. I don’t think there was enough coverage to serve all customers that were there dining.
We watched the Superbowl and had a awesome time. Food was great. Service was mediocre.
We used a coupon for there campfire meal for two and enjoyed everything from the appetizers, salads, entrees and desert. The reservation was helpful as they were very busy but even though they were busy our food and drinks came out quickly.
The service was great and the food was awesome. It was great for date night and the atmosphere was perfect.
We arrived with reservations and still had to wait 10 minutes.
First server was great but unfortunately she was not assigned to our table, second server left a lot to be desired. We explained we had a concert to get to. Food was very slow coming out and not all the orders were correct. Drinks were unbelievably slow. If a restaurant knows there is a concert in very close proximity they should hire more workers for the night. More bartenders, more chefs and plenty more wait staff. Had to find the manager to get our check. We barely made the concert at 8:00 and we started at 5:30! Only 6 people not like we were a large group!
