I made a reservation, and we were seated at 6.00pm promptly. Waited a while, but ordered two iced teas. Ordered our appetizer, and dinner. I asked if she would not bring our main course until we were finished with our salads, and we wanted to visit for a while, and didn't want our food lined up getting cold, like last time I was there. She told us the bread was not ready, and she was waiting for it to come out of the oven. We were almost done with our salads when it finally came. Appetizer came, then our salads. A wait, but not too bad. Then it went down hill. We waited and waited for our dinner. She walked by and said it was coming, but it didn't. Finally at about 7.20pm our prime rib dinners arrived. We did not expect to be there for 2 hours for just two people. The food was excellent, but the time between the salad and main course was way too long.
Love Black Angus!!! I drive 45 minutes to the one nearest me. Our food is always perfect. This time my prime rib that I asked to be medium was a little too done. There was no pink at all. I didn't want to offend anyone by sending it back. Hopefully next time will be perfect as usual!
Although I primarily went for the Fall Trio deal, I love the quality of their steaks and lobster tail. It also came with the always warm and delicious bread. The Cesar salad was very fresh and delicious which was made by my server. Good job! I had an Old Fashion to start with which was tasty. My steak and lobster came fairly and was cooked to perfection. My top sirloin was very tender and flavored just right. I had a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The hot fudge on the side was a good choice. Love coming here when I can!
Since the Black Angus near us isn’t open for lunch, my friend and I went to the one in Ontario, CA which is open for lunch. The food was excellent and a very good value for what we paid. We shared the Sky High Mud Pie for dessert and it was wonderful. Highly recommend that dessert. However, the service was mediocre and could have been much better. Took awhile to get the condiments for my meal, so food was getting cold waiting. Also, waiter was persistent in pushing a bottle of wine even though we declined the first time.
While we enjoy BA, once again management change and some server changes. We were seated right away [Had reservation], waited a few minutes, Holly came by took our drink order then dinner order. We waited for the great bread, which didn't come until I asked. Salad I had looked like someone else had eaten it and then appeared croutons thrown on it w/dressing. I did not finish it. Grossed me out. Ordered Campfire Feast, I had chicken and ribs, husband had prime rib. Both chicken and ribs were dry, tasteless. Previous manager had BA a place we enjoyed coming to. We may not be back too soon. Improve the food, service.
Our waiter told us countless times our food was on the way but it never was. By the time it arrived, it was cold. From the time we walked in to the time we left, we were treated badly. The only reason we stayed was because I was really craving their loaded baked potato(preggo probs).

BAS has been one of my favorite restaurants since the 90's. It was my special date with my wife after moving to Ontario last month. Steaks were good as usual, however, since the waiter did not recommend medium, we ended up with no great taste on medium well at all. We were expecting more than it was that evening. However, I will come again and recommend to all my friends. I have joined the club for future news and visits with more expectations.
Wait staff was inattentive. Host at front showed no interest of us being there, nor when we left. The food was not good, bland, not an appealing presentation. The dinner plates were brought too soon after the appetizers, in fact we were still eating when they brought out the main entrees. Plus we ordered four entrees but the fourth one was brought out much later! In the reservation I included a comment about celebrating a birthday but no one inquired about it. The staff was too busy talking with the other patrons in the table next to us because they knew each other. Not a good impression to ignore us especially since it was my husband's birthday. Overall it left us very dissatisfied. I do not recommend this place for any kind of celebration.
The worst!!! We made reservations with Open Table and it was great getting in when the place was packed. We had tickets to a concert and waited over one hour and never got our food!! We called for the Manager just as the order arrived and we had to leave of mis the start of the concert. The manager was great and comped the drinks and appetizer . The waiter must have been new he had very poor service
We were on way home from dr appt, had a gift certificate we got at Christmas. Normally we'd go to Temecula, but hadn't gone cause that one is hit or miss. Plus they want you to have resetrvations even when there's only one seated patron! I found the Ontario one on my phone and now it's bye bye Temecula! This one had a nice lunch menu, prime rib, and was a much nicer restaurant. Food was fantastic, prices seemed better. We will be back!
I went there for my Birthday and ordered the Prime Rib Cowboy cut. The Prime Rib was ordered Medium and arrived Well Done, so I sent it back and the server saw it was not how I ordered it. Just a couple mins later my Prime Rib arrived and was cooked correctly. The service was good and we got enough attention and bread and such. I like this place much better than the Black Angus in Montclair.
A delicious dinner -- the steaks were done to perfection, and all of the side dishes were excellent. A handcrafted cocktail of strawberry rose with vodka was delicious and flavorful. Their wedge salad is one of the best I have had. Cheesecake dessert was better than the Cheesecake Factory!! Their booths are unique in the fact that the backs to the booths are a good 5 feet high, so each booth is its own, intimate space. Perfect for conversation and camaraderie. Our server was attentive but unobtrusive. It was a GREAT MEAL! Cannot wait to visit there again next year!

When booking a reservation through Open Table seems to be the issue. The hostess will argue with you about the validity of your reservation, so make sure to have your e-mail confirmation handy otherwise they will try to put you into the regular walk-in queue. Don't expect friendliness either... as the hostess will be quite rude and try to belittle others in your party.
Food was ok. The Cole slaw used to be creamy and good now it isn't. I will just not order it again. The filet was very good. Top sirloin at our table was too done. Baked potatoes were small and dry and served luke warm. Steak salad was good. Lobster was ok. All in all fair but not outstanding food. Server kept drinks full and was pleasant.
Took forever to get a cocktail from the bar "they were backed up" Waitress did apologize. Food was terrible. My prime rib was tough an lacked flavor, tiny baked potato and wedge salad. Why skimp? Wife's lobster tails were over cooked(chewy) and over salted. Service ok but unprofessional. She want to kneel in or booth to take orders. Terrible. When I was younger my parents would take us to Stuart Anderson's Black Angus... It was so much better then. How far have its fallen
