It sucked at best
Excellent experience this soon after COVID. We were seated on time, service was excellent, and food was plentiful. Does seam like prices have increased alot, but expected.
Prices are high for the portions and quality received.
The prime rib was over cooked as if it was microwaved. My husband sent back his rib eye. It was wafer thin and well done when it should of been medium. My daughter said her shrimp tasted like rubber. We received no bread and butter. Never got salt or pepper. The only good thing was the carrot cake. We usually like Black Angus but I doubt we will be going back. At least to the Ontario location.
My prime Rib was overly fatty(about 1/3 of my order)
Brought it to attention of the manager, did a small adjusyment to my bill.
This is not the first time theat the Prime Rib was overly fatty.
Not what they used to be
Great dinner with family. Would only recommend salting or better seasoning on grilled shrimp. Other than that perfect dinner.

33rd Wedding Anniversary
Waitress had no knowledge of prices and specials. Also, When placed my order, Asked out-loud why my partner wasn’t getting anything and said “you guys are sharing one plate only” . I think it wasn’t none of other peoples business to know that we were sharing a plate or if I was hungry and he wasn’t. She should’ve take the order without giving her opinion out loudly so other can hear and looked at us.
Our server Tiffany was great and the food as always was good. The only complaint we had is the food should have been served hotter. I really did not care for my prime rib to be on the warm side. In addition, I wish Black Angus would find a new meat supplier as their prime rib has way too much fat. Very poor cut of meat. Black Angus NY Steaks, Wrangler and Top sirloin steaks are great tasting and have very little fat. Not sure why other then possibly the meat supplier providing a less desirable cut of prime rib to them. Husband had the ribs and they were great. Good meat on the bones and cooked with great flavor.

We enjoyed very much being able to eat indoors and all service was friendly and enjoyable. Thank you to all.
It was wonderful to be back inside the restaurant. This is one of our favorite places to have date night .

We have not been to a Black Angus for about a year since moving to Rancho Cucamonga from Whittier. It was a great experience, the food (baby back ribs) were awesome. Our server Louis was fantastic, great personality and very attentive to our requests. Will definitely be back!!
Disappointed at the quality of the food. Ordered 3 rib eye steaks and paid extra for that particular steak cut and almost half of the steak was pure fat and couldn’t even eat it, it was a bland and chewy flavorless full of fat piece of steak. The salad was good and our waiter was excellent. Other than that, we were very disappointed with our dinner.

Had a 6:45pm reservation, and yet got seated 25 minutes after - kinda weird, but was possibly due to maximum occupancy so I’ll let it slide.
However, my 30$ New York Strip steak was nicely sized, but unfortunately VERY bland (almost flavorless, would have tasted more from a Jack in the Box meat patty). Service was good, but I easily will not be coming back unless the prices magically drop by 60%.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place was so bad, I felt it warranted one. We were visiting from out town so I made a reservation ahead of time and requested outdoor seating. I’ve included a photo of their outdoor set up, which was simply tables moved to the parking lot. It was very windy with nothing to protect from the elements. The food was way over priced for the quality. I don’t mind paying for a good steak, but I felt like we could have gotten better cuts of meat at Denny’s. I ordered the filet, medium rare. I don’t know what they brought me, but I’ve never seen a filet look like that and it was not MR. My husband ordered a ribeye and, despite having not eaten all day, he only finished half his food. The only redeeming quality was the waiter was attentive and pleasant. Definitely not worth the money.
I had the best service there ever and I go there all the time the waiters name was Rudy and I’m all about good service.

We ordered the campfire prime rib was dry the ribeye was tough. My husband ordered a beer it was old it tasted bad he was sick for 2 days. We have always enjoyed eating at this establishment but this visit was terrible, I had ordered a Bloody Mary I never got my drink
Staff seemed uninterested in serving their customers. You'd think after being closed so long they would be happy, energetic and pleased to have customers.
Long time since my wife and I had been able to go out on date night...used open table to fill in the request of date night, when we arrived at the venue, they knew of the date night request found us a nice booth quite and corner booth...server Luis was awesome...food was amazing...thank you
The food was okay (not great) but our waiter wasn't very good at all. He got our order wrong and kept forgetting to bring things we'd asked for. I'm hoping it can be chalked up to a skeleton crew due to pandemic? Overall, probably won't be returning.

Very Good meal and the price was more than affordable. Had to wait a bit even with reservations but thats not unexpected with Covid. Had a little payment issue as well (thought you had to pay up at the front counter) but other than that it was a very pleasant experience that I'd like to do again.
We asked for our Ribeye 16oz. Steak well done and 3 times they took to re cook it and get it right. The didn't charge us but the point was we had our food all seperated and it ruined our Sunday afternoon.

Our server Luis never disappoints!! He’s GREAT!! My issue is check in and bathrooms! Really the over all cleanliness!! They’ve had so much time during shut down to clean the bathrooms and really maintain the indoor dinning area but I’m sorry you FAILED! The bathroom was GROSS. Your so concerned over Covid we have to wait outside before being sat (with no one in waiting area or outside) but the person sitting us has her hands all over our cloth napkin with our silverware. Let’s think about that!! The bathroom is ridiculous. Clean it up.
