I ordered the oz bone in rib eye asked for medium rare and it came out fully cooked and I told the waiter hey I'm not one for complaining at restaurants but I had to send this steak back. Terrible idea because what I got back was a barely cooked warm steak it was truly terrible worst steak restaurant experience I've ever had will never be back...I'm smacking myself over the fact that I didn't take a photo 👏
The food was so good and the service was great. I will come again because of the good food and service.

No wait thanks to our reservation. Food was good which is typical of Black Angus. Service was a bit less than we expected but not bad. We had a loud party near us so the otherwise quiet dinner was often subject to loud outbursts of noise which was disruptive.
Ontario Store terrible June 17, 2021. Let me say that Black Angus has been a favorite both in food quality and service for decades, so it is a huge disappointment that the ONTARIO Black Angus that I visited for the first time, was awful in food quality and service. (Waiter Luis B, General Manager Mike Kim, Chef Morris Vides).
The waiter Luis first offers a special and when my date said she does not like shellfish, he then repeatedly apologized for "making that statement." Why repeatedly apologize for offering a special? Right there I knew he was going to be off. Then he was abusive using words. The campfire feast was on sale for 49 dollars and 98 cents but he charged us 66. Then he also charged us $11.00 for extras like sauce and mushrooms.
I guess he knew he would get bad review as I have always had my steak perfectly prepared (medium) but here it was rare red and when I said sure take it back, you guessed it, it was cooked well done.
Steak was tasty and tender. Waitress Anna was very cordial, friendly and quick to fill request. Margaritas we had were tasteless and tasted watered down.
Anna was an amazing server and super helpful with the menu!

The booth we sat in had dirty seats with long strands of blonde hair ! What happened to following COVID restrictions about cleanliness in restaurants?

I loved the food this my favorite restaurant the service is always excellent, Luis our server was outstanding, the only thing I was disappointed was the size of the margaritas it looks that they shrank with the covid 19, I hope next time they make it a little bigger, for the price I was expecting bigger. it was not fair, I go to this place at least once or twice a month, so take this in consideration. We a reservation for 12:00PM, upon arriving a little before then there were already other people waiting also. The doors were still locked at noon, around 12:10pm I called the phone # and was told they would be opening in a few minutes, it took about another 10 minutes before we got inside to be seated. We finally ordered our food, it took some time for the food to come out, it tasted fine, but for the money we pair it was not worth what we got. And with them opening late after we had a reservation, and gave no explanation as to why we had to wait was very rude.
First impression for a Black Angus, Landscaping was very poor for a high class steak house.

He asked if it was ok to serve us our salad before our appetizer, we said yes, but a little weird. Appetizer comes shortly afterwards. Dinner shows up 2 minutes later. That’s not right in my opinion. I know because I use to be a server for over 30 years. Food was very good!
The server was rude and disrespectful kept forgetting our food kept Sauk go our food was served to someone else. I fucken hated that place that day.
Service and food was excellent. Hadn’t been there in awhile, and was great to go back and have such a good time and meal.
The food they had available (a lot was missing because of supply chain shortages), was cooked well and the service was good, and about what you would expect for a chain restaurant.
Server took too long to bring second drink order. She brought the drink by the time we were finished with our food. Food was good and the place was quiet.
The salad dressing was so thick it stuck to the greens, the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box and were thick. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the waiter and were only checked on once. Not at all like previous experiences
The food is consistently decent. Our steaks are never cooked that great, always overcooked, but that seems to be par for the course at Black Angus. The service was good. We like the ambiance, though, and the nice big booths. And we LOVE that we can make a reservation!!
This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever seen, bordering on hilarious.
We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation, taken to a hastily set up table and chairs staged near the delivery entrance in a back parking lot alongside a busy street. I wish I were joking. There was a delivery dolly and barricades around us and no real indication that this was a legitimate dining area.
I made this reservation for a party of six and we are traveling on business. Beyond embarrassed to have placed my colleagues in this situation!
We attempted to be good sports and waited another ten minutes but received no service and left for a nearby establishment with a much better experience.
This isn’t a real restaurant. This is three raccoons in a trench coat pretending to be a restaurant.
Service was horrible - we had to wait 8 minutes before anyone came to the front to check us in, and then had to wait another 15 mins. The server was not attentive and forgot several requests. We ordered a steak that was significantly undercooked, and when it was replaced it was still undercooked. The chicken and ribs we ordered were overcooked and dry and tough. Overall NOT a good experience.
Deserted! Looks like Black Angus is struggling . So sad. Food was ok it was cold and smaller quantities.
The ribeye was amazing! Service was superb. A very enjoyable experience. Nice to be able to eat inside a restaurant again!

Food was excellent. Waiter was awesome and went above and beyond in customer service.
Horrible food. Dry steaks, burned and flavorless. Asparagus tasted spoiled, and we were seated to a dirty table. Would not recommend this place. Maybe in the 90s when that’s all there was but the quality of food now is as if they don’t even care about the customer anymore.
Great waiter, forgot his name but he made the meal even better.

It took us over an hour to get our food. We ended up spending almost 2 hours from sit down to getting our check. The waitress was very nice and I dont believe it was any fault of hers. We sat down at 3:35 , we had a reservation and we got our check at 5:18. This is unacceptable. The food was mediocre and took forever to get a refill or drink.
Service wasn't the greatest. I understand that companies are struggling to hire and keep employees, but the staff should be more friendly and have better attitudes.
We made a reservation at 6:30 we did not get. Our table and tell 7.35. The food was not the best, It seems that all the customers were very upset about waiting over an hour after they made the reservation ,so I believe the staff Was getting tired of listening to people complain, so I think the atmosphere was just wasn't the best that night.
Sat my husband and I next to a party of 20. No thousand island for my salad. Ask for the cookie with no ice cream. Waiter said he could put it on the side. Was so busy with the big party, he forgot. Only could eat half our cookie because the rest was soaked with melted ice cream. Our appetizer and meal was delicious as always. Was charged an extra $2 for a loaded baked potato. We always get that big meal for 2 and never was charged an additional fee.
Not worth it. Food is alright but not amazing . the waitress was so serious and it was my birthday and it had no special feelin to it.
Awful experience. Seat was dirty, small portions of food, had to have it swept underneath the table, meat had to be sent back because it wasn’t cooked all the way as ordered. Broccoli either on a different plate. Server got water on my guest. Black cloth napkins were dirty so I asked for paper ones. Some customers had to wait outside while one party didn’t, standing right behind me not 6 foot distancing. Manager lacked empathy made excuses and did nothing to result the issue so I left. Didn’t eat. Very disappointing. I’m calling the corporate office.
Black Angus has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. Mainly because they are consistent and good. The two in my area of Riverside and San Bernardino closed I was disappointed. For Mother's Day Pastor friends invited me to dinner and I was overjoyed when I heard they had reservations at Montclair Black Angus. The following Friday I took a friend out to dinner and gave her the choice of two restaurants that I knew she liked. The mud pie dessert at Black Angus won the toss up. The she remembered how much she liked to potato soup that she had often ordered. We went to the Ontario one and loved it also.
