Not our best dining experience at Black Angus.
The food was outstanding. The steak was perfect, brussels sprouts lovely.
The waitress was overworked - too many tables? We had to wait for everything and she charged us for our birthday "cookie".
It was cold and windy (not your fault, of course).
Result: review is mixed.
Food excellent, attention unique, server she was very prompt, with exception of climate
wind factor, was so cold heather as full capacity did not match for wind.

But when the bill came, it was for full price because the one choose was not covered by the offer. That should have been clarified upfront.
The food and value are always good. Unfortunately, eating outside means that your food does not stay hot for very long. Our server, Diane, is outstanding. She is fast, efficient, and friendly. She has a great sense of humor that we look forward to - almost as much as the food.
Despite outdoor dining. They made the experience very pleasant. The food was up to Black Angus standards (Very Good!) The service was excellent. They really tried to do their best.

We went there for my daughter’s birthday. Everything was wonderful! The food was great, especially the au gratin potatoes. Service great! That night they had wine (which was excellent, house Cabernet) for 1/2 off per bottle (great value). Steak cooked perfectly and nice (albeit small) lobster tails. Everything was perfect, but in this part of Los Angeles it is eat outside only for now. It just so happened to be a night where wind was blowing a gale and very cold. They tried to make us comfortable with the heaters but it was still FRIGID!! Loved the dinner and service!!!!
We eat here about every other week. The food is very good and the service is great. These servers are wonderful.
I felt that our server was rude and did not provide timely information. She did not offer things as needed and seemed critical when we were asking for stuff

I HAVE MADE RESERVATIONS BEFORE AND NEVER SAW THE ADDED SEATING OUTSIDE THE TENT AND I WAS VERY UPSET IN THAT SEATING ARRANGEMENT. SPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE COLD WEATHER, I WOULD HAVE NEVER MADE RESERVATIONS KNOWING THE POSSIBILITY OF SEATING THERE OR MADE SURE I wasn't SEATING THERE. SPECIALLY ON VDAY ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ROMANTIC AMBIANCE AND IT WAS FAR FROM IT.

Although we are in a world wide pandemic, the service was A+ We had no complains. I would go back any day of the week. The staff was great, the ambiance was great as well. I would totally recommend this place to my friends.

Too windy to be outside the tarp area, and even inside tarp area, wind made the experience not the best, but this isn't the fault of anyone or the restaurant. We didn't our soup we ordered and had to remind the waitress. She did give us a card for $15 off our next visit for the mis-steak however.
Can't wait to be able to eat inside again, will be great to do that.
Valentines Day dinner. It was a little cold but everything else was great.
Complimentary bread was stale. My filet mignon delicious. Our server was good The atmosphere was okay. Nothing fancy.

Nothing bad, nothing great. Service could have been more attentive. For “parking lot dining” it’s hard please everyone and I get that. But, it would appear that Covid has just sucked the life out of the staff. Zero sense of urgency. It was a very generic experience that could have been much better but thankfully was not much worse. In my service industry days I would have seized these Covid shifts, the wait staff of today seems ingrateful.

I went for my birthday and the food was cold, prime rib was old. Waiter was excellent but there was a manager walking around sharing at people and was very rude.

Excellent service. Music from a Bluetooth speaker was annoying. Asked manager to lower the volume or move to other location of the outside tent resulted to no action. Disappointed.

We come here often (2nd time during outside seating) this time was a little upset about the food coming out so quickly, we wanted to enjoy our one night out finally! but was a upset oh how quickly everything came out, we barely touched our appetizer, then the salads arrived, not even half way through the salads, here comes the meal! This is one of my biggest pet peeves when eating out. The server must of put the whole order in at once ( understand during COVID, they don't want you lingering) but my goodness I felt like we were in and out in 40 minutes! I guess next time I will specify not to put the main meal in right away.
For outdoor dining it was OK. We had been there before and were seated under the canopy they have, which has sides t it, but this time were were seated outside that and it felt like were just sitting in the parking lot which of course we were. We were seated a full 35 minutes after our reservation time and then sat for almost 15 minutes before we got utensils and water. The rest of the service and the food were quite good. Our server, Rachel, made up for a lot of the wait and poor atmosphere.
