Diane, our waitress, is the best !!
The staff is always so kind and caring at this Black Angus. I think this is the best location of them all.
As usual, we were seated immediately because we reserve through Opentable. John, the manager whom we are happy to have back makes sure everything goes well. Keryann, our waitress, had become part of our family. We love to sit in her station (in the bar) for great service. Misty, the new asst. mgr., always has her eyes open to assure perfect service.
We were disappointed with the "nickel and dime" additional fees. We were very uncomfortable with this new price system. We understand that the employees are now receiving a higher hourly wage. Just list the price and hold to it. Charging $1 additional for the Caesar is not acceptable. Next, bread and water will have charges. We usually come to celebrate a birthday and this time the birthday person was unable to use the coupon because we ordered the Campfire, even with the coupon has been increased.
Sadly, we all agreed that we will look elsewhere for celebration dinners.
last Saturday night my family went to Black Angus in Northridge We ordered The buffalo chicken tenders that was served to us burnt and extremely oily which any good waitress would not have served this really disgusting looking what ever it was in the first place . We called the waitress over and ask for something different we talked and said maybe the shrimp cocktail and then decided to go with the regular chicken tenders 15 minutes later out waitress brought us over a shrimp cocktail even though she did write down chicken tenders . The shrimp tasted old . I order the steak and lobster and my family had the 45 dollar campfire special. They order the prime rib which was 30% fat in the middle of each prime rib and the lobster was hard and cold served with no butter. The steak was OK but overall it was a bad experience that night. The last time we went 2 weeks earlier I was overed charge by 1 extra person . My wife paid and I did not see it till I got home and spent a long time on the phone to get it taken care of . Makes me think twice about going back again. I wonder if our waitress would have served this garbage to her own family. I wish now I took photos of our dinner
Potato skins were black around the edges and dry. Incorrect side order was brought to the table. Steak (rib-eye) was tough and chewy. Last visit both rib-eye and filet mignon were TOUGH. Sad! Went to lobster myself this time--another mistake. One of two tails was dry and looked as though it had been cooked at noon and held until we arrived. Bread is great. It was my 80th birthday and what a disappointment for me and my husband!! As a result of this being the second time around for tough steak, we will not be back. And definitely have nothing good to say about the restaurant we used to love. Don't know what happened--last year when our son visited the steak was great. The great steak was the only reason we took him there. And now???!!!!
Have a great time at this restaurant. Excellent food, great service and it can be for any occasion
Very good value for the money. campfire Grille very nicely presented. We have dined here many times and just plain enjoy it.
We went for my husband's birthday. The server was very friendly and quick. Food was delicious as always.
bLACK aNGUS IS ALWAYS RELIABLY GOOD - PLUS THIS TIME WE HAD BETTER SERVICE THAN EVER!
All the servers are friendly, especially Brayton and A.J.
Although we had a 6:30 reservation, we weren't seated until 7. Once our order was in it took almost an hour to get our dinner. Our server, Daniel, was very nice and it certainly was not his fault for all the delays. This Black Angus is not run very efficiently.
Everything was good, only one issue. My brother in laws Prime rib was over cooked For what he ordered quite a wild to get it replaced and that everything was great
Our server AJ was attentive but not overbearing. Food was very good.
It was a busy Friday night. I got there 5 minuted before my reservation time, and we were seated within 15 minutes. Our booth comfortable and quiet enough to speak in conversational tones. service was friendly and helpful. We all ordered beef, mine was prime rib, and though it was cut thin, it was still tender and the way I requested.
We went to lunch at Black Angus because we wanted to take advantage of the $9.50 coupon offer. This was a very good deal because you can order any entree and your choice of two sides for only $9.50. There was enough left over for a second meal!
Continued Consistent excellent service and food
Consistently excellent service and food as we have detailed below. We look forward to eating here every time we have a chance. We love Black Angus. Their coupons cannot be beaten. We once again enjoyed steak and prawns with 2 sides for 20.99 (special). We again chose the loaded baked potato soup and the loaded baked potato for sides, both excellent. We added a 16 oz draft Guinness. We had a pleasant evening at our favorite local gem. We ended up taking what was left (a little less than half ) of our dinners home for our next night's dinner. The service is always attentive, the bread delicious and the cowboy decor is fun. We will be back again and again.
We chose the Campfire Grille for two, lots of options and very tasty. We had a coupon for this so it was very good value for the money
Brought the desert Home will is as we were full. Good service also from Kelly.
We enjoyed the grilled artichoke and dipping sauces. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered. A pleasant evening!
The waiter was especially attentive
Great service from Joana I think that was her name? Good food and great coupon specials!
This Black Angus location has been consistently busy over the past 10+ years that my family and I have been going for steak dinners. However, their service has not been consistent. Our the service from our visit a few months ago was pretty good but this visit was disappointing in service as it took almost 2 hours (from time we were seated until we received the check) for us to have our dinner.
Food was very good, but the virgin Strawberry Daqueri was very sour. Exchanged the Daqueri for coffee but the coffee was very watered down and not drinkable. Service was very good.
Book prior to 6.00 pm as it gets very busy
Good value for the money if you research for current coupons
Had a lovely meal. The waitress was delightful and the food was exceptional. Will definitely go back again - soon!!!
It's great if you have a coupon. If not, it's a little bit pricey. Food is very good though.
This is our low-key local steak/seafood house. Casual or dressy if you want. The food is good, nothing for foodies but good if you just want a nice night out in a quiet environment with a cocktail. Last two times I was there the service was slow and disjointed. Disjointed means the server assumed the assistant server would bring the bread and the assistant server assumed the bus person would bring bread with the water. So it was disjointed. Just relax and enjoy.
I am a frequent customer for work celebration dinners. This time we were seated in the bar, too loud and not enough waiters. The service was awful. The waiter was no where to be found. He ended up giving us the pitchers of water and iced tea to refill our own drinks. I had to go to the bar to refill the soda. Food was just ok. We just wanted to leave. Would not come back.
We use Black Angus for special occasions, like birthdays, family and friends visiting from out of town, anniversary celebrations, valentine's days, etc. We have always had good food and good service at Black Angus. Sometimes we get coupons for specials prices on certain items which we always appreciate. Our fondness for Black Angus has become well enough known among family and friends so that we now get Black Angus gift cards for Christmas. Our last visit was for my son's birthday. We all had a good time, had good food, good service, and enjoyed the occasion.
Consistently good. The Campfire Feast is always good with shared appetizer & dessert. Our usual choice is the Steak Quesadilla or Fried Zuchini appetizer, Prime Rib with loaded baked potato & Caesar salad, Salmon with broccoli & green salad, chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Generous portions and cooked perfectly. What more can you ask for? Be on the look out for coupons since they are a great value.
Excellent value for money. Look for the coupons.
Food was great service was good but had to wait a little long for drinks. Overall good will definitely be back. Best prime rib.
Was not impressed tri tip was dry my meal came cold and not the way it was ordered my drink the mijito was terrible I only drank a quarter of it the water was the best part of my meal I really do not like to fuss about food but for an $80 dinner it wasn’t worth it I would not recommend this location the hostess were great and accommodating I wish I could get my money back sorry guys a 3 out of 10 rating.
The food and service is excellent. Whether ordering a medium rare steak or a sea food combination the results of their preparedness is perfection. The music is good and not too loud.
The ambiance is casual with a very large bar area suitable for sports enthusiast. I love the place because there is plenty of parking and I can always count on receiving quality food and service.
Service was very poor, special the girl assigning the sitting..!! Never again in that location. That restaurant used to be more Cozy
Our waitress Ashley was the best. She was very attentive to our needs and very friendly.
Alcohol is a bit expensive. A very small glass of Merlot at happy hour at the bar is $6.50? Too much.
Fast service...almost too fast...a bit rushed. Mentioned it was a birthday...which was never acknowledged.
Got a coupon in the mail which inspired me to try it out. I'm sold. Good food for a reasonable price.
Always a pleasant evening. Making reservations through Opentable helps seating. Glad John is back. Service was great!
I frequently several different Black Angus restaurants throughout the year. Recently, at the Northridge location, I met a friend for dinner and we both had the steak/prawn special. The prawns were great however, the steak was so tough I was unable to finish it. We had a booth in the back which was quiet and we were able to "catch up" on family and friends. The service was quite good but I would say, other locations have been better.
