Black Angus Steakhouse - Lancaster Ratings and Reviews
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The steak soup was amazing but the lettuce salad was so so. The table was split on turkey – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the appitizer. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Went there for Thanksgiving and my birthday which was the same day. Food was great however the server was not so good. Felt like my party was ignored. People who came in after us and sat down were able to order and get their food before we could get our server or find her to take our order. We were served drinks and was not able to order our food until 40 minutes later.
I️ thought the atmosphere was good .and our server was very friendly and we had good service.the black angus was a very good place to feel comfortable at.each setting seemed to have its own privacy.and it seemed to be a pretty clean place which is very important.I️ would most definitely recommend it to anyone.
Went for thanksgiving last year the food was amazing, this year they put some weird spice in the stuffing and it was horrible. the sweet pot also weren't cooked. The turkey was moist and the rest of the food was good, they ruined the dish with the weird spice. I don't know what it was. my husband and mother liked it but I didnt'. Had I know I would have gotten the prime rib instead. Over all good food. Will eat there again next year.
Horrible experience, bartender couldn't make an ol fashion properly, saw our waiter twice maybe. My wife's steak and potato was overcooked and we let the server know ( who wasn't even our actual server) nothing else was said about it. Our actual server check on her other two tables multiple times and just bypassed us constantly. Will never go back.
Our waitress absolutely sucked👎🏽 it took an hour for us to get our food. There were 3 tables seated after us and they all received their food before us although we ordered before them. Our waitress served us first someone else’s food and took 20 more minuets for us to receive our food. I wanted to complain but my momma didn’t raise a fool. Never complain about the food before it arrives onto your table. The steaks we ordered were beaten so flat it was disappointing. This was my birthday treat too and it was such a fail. I wanted to complain but my husband was so over it and wanted to just leave. Even when we leaving no one thanked us for coming. We won’t be back.
i loved the food but it was so exspensive we had 3 appitizers and 6 drinks came too $110 we dident have anymore money to even buy dinners,,would i go back,, no cant afford too,, you guys really need to have specials for people who are on a budget,, we left there hungry.. not a good experiance..
My friend and I meet there regularly because we just LOVE the food!!! We are both crazy about the scalloped potatoes sidekick, but must mention that it is very inconsistent and sometimes better than at other times which is sometimes very disappointing. Love the hostess' especially "Taylor" and the servers are very nice! Altho it does not appear all that busy, the servers often seem rushed and forget to refill drinks or check back when they said they would.....havent quite figured out why that is yet! it is getting a bit expensive for these retiree's and we can not come as often as we would like.....but it is definently MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT
Me and my mom had a lovely time. It was my 54 birthday and Black Angus gave me a coupon for a free steak dinner and dessert witch was very delicious. I had steak and lobster and she had BBQ chicken witch she loved. The noise level was great and the server was wonderful. We did online reservations witch helped out and we only waited 5 min. This is my new place to eat for my birthday.
Food was good, but our server kept trying to rush us out when they weren't even busy! Asking what we want for dessert when we JUST got our food....then bringing the check before we even got dessert...I have never felt so rushed to finish my meal! Even my kids noticed! My 11 yo littetally took his last bite of food when his sundae was placed in front of him. First time I've ever had bad service here.
Everything was satisfactory with the exception of the teriyaki chicken which was to tuff to enjoy, ended up leaving hungry. We have been eating at this place for years and now I know not to order chicken outside of a salad.
Last week we ate at the Yard House and their chicken was great.
As always we had a wonderful experience; the wait staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and were quick with our drink orders. This occasion was very special because it was out 41str wedding anniversary and my wife is with stage three cancer so it is doubtful we will celebrate our 42nd year together. I want to thank the staff for the great attention, it made us feel special.
