Black Angus Steakhouse - Fresno Ratings and Reviews
I went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary dinner. We were impressed with nearly everything about this restaurant! The drinks were great, the staff was helpful and friendly, our service was fast and the food was delicious.
We were both very impressed and will definitely be coming back.
I dined here on a first date. They set me up with an end booth that was quiet and secluded for an atmosphere of romantic conversation. This restaurant has an expanded menu and both our dinners were excellent along with the attention we received from our waiter. It was a 5 Star dining experience!
Service and food very good, but the kitchen plating was not so good. Some foods very hot on the plate but one steak was barely warm and the other absolutely cold. We ate the lobster and shrimp and took the steaks home so it was still a nice meal and decent value.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at the Black Angus. The food was good...they offered not only a fixed price menu for the traditional Turkey dinner, but they offered a variety of selections from their regular menu (such a lobster tails, prime rib, top sirloin, salmon and shrimp skewers. There is plenty of room for large groups, although it is hard to hear each other because it is loud. The service was phenomenal.
I was very disappointed with my experience there. I had placed a reservation for the Thanksgiving Dinner at 1:00pm for 12/23/17 for a party of 5. When I checked in the girl in charge of the Reservation Booth took us to a round booth, which was not accommodating since there were 2 individuals who could not fit properly there. I then asked for a table and the girl replied that she had none for us. She sat us down to wait, but then took us to the bar section and sat us on a bar counter with no table settings and not family oriented and accommodating. We asked the waiter to move us to an open table that was available and he said he couldn’t without the Reservation Girl’s approval. I asked to speak to the manager and was then seated in the dining area on a nice table that was set. We were moved around 3 times. I was not only embarrassed it felt I was mistreated by the Reservation Girl! I will probably not go again for Thanksgiving there again. That was our second visit there for Thanksgiving and will be our last.
We love Black Angus. We come about once a month when we are in town. We have noticed that when we make reservations, we come a little early yet we are asked to wait to be seated. Often this goes beyond our reservation time. There are many empty tables and booths, yet we are asked to wait, which becomes rather annoying. It would be nice if we could wait while seated at our table.
was very disappointed with the service very slow and placed wrong drinks and food to each person. we also was unable to order soda or anything with carbonation as some machine was broke. for a Saturday evening we were let down as we had heard nothing but good things from others. we also received mixed menus some we ordered some desserts and was told they did not offer them . after questioning this we were told we were given old menus.
I spent my anniversary at black angus Steakhouse which also was my first time dining. The service was horrible and my food came out cold. I notified my server and she said would “heat it up” but yet again my food was cold. My server didn’t spend the time to make sure me as a customer was satisfied.. I made a reservation also and it took forever to be seated and then took 30 minutes for my order to even be taken. And an hour and a half later I get my food cold.
We went to celebrate mother in law's birthday and although we made reservations, we waited an extra half hour to be seated. Once finally seated we placed our order and waited some more. After 2 hours total, we got up and left. Terrible experience. I will never dine here again.
Great food; the steaks are well seasoned and cooked to perfection and all other food items on the menu tastes great too. The staff are always friendly and the service is outstanding. Because the food and service are so good that we keep coming back frequently.
Good food, good value, good service on a very busy night. Unfortunately the steak and lobster and potatoes were cold on both my plate and my wife's. The fried shrimp were hot from the fryer, so it was a plating problem and not a late pick up by the waiter.
We'll still come back, but not on a weekend evening. Service is fast and good week days before 6:00.
