Looks like all the other black Angus but my only issue is if you have a party of 6 or more you have to sit in the bar area. Prefer the lounge area.

What I love about Black Angus is that you can count on that perfect meal every time! Its been years since I went there and yet my prime rib and zucchini chips oh and the author gratin potatoes were DELISH just like years ago! Our server was young and quite forced in trying to seem happy to serve but u didn't let that affect our fab dinner. We used that campfire coupon with no problems. I cant wait to go back for my free birthday dinner!!! (If you sign up for it on thier website they send you a birthday coupon! Yay!)

Even though we had a reservation they made us waited 40 min. I understand that was valentines day and there were a lot of people but that is why we made a reservation in advance.

What’s the point of having a reservation? People with reservations were having to wait 30+ minutes after their reservation time. We were seated towards the front where people were standing, waiting, and staring at those already seated and eating. I would not recommend this as a Valentine’s Day date location, any other day it would be dead empty.

We visit the Fountain Valley location once or twice a month & are generally pleased with the food & service. On Feb 14th however, they either overbooked or were understaffed or something. Granted, it was a "holiday", but we made reservations for 7:30, showed up early, yet were still not seated until 8:05. They even sent a email asking me to confirm the reservation a couple days before. Not only that, when we got there, there was no communication regarding the delay... would have been nice if they would have at least given us a time estimate when we checked in, instead of having to stand around wondering for a half hour. Even after asking for an estimate, all they would say was "we're still seating the 7:30 reservations".

We've been there before on a non-holiday so maybe our expectations were too high. We made a reservation a few days ahead. We got there about 15-20 minutes early, and we still waited about an hour beyond our reserved time. The place was packed and noisy by the entrance, although it wasn't bad by our table. I didn't read the fine print so on Valentine's Day they didn't accept their usual coupons. Honestly, though, I wasn't too surprised. Then things got worse. After a lengthy wait for our meal, my wife's rib-eye steak and vegetables were cold and had to be returned. My NY steak was warm, but it was cooked unevenly. One half was slightly pink and the other half was slightly overcooked and dry. It was very strange. I envisioned slabs of steak sitting on top of each other, some portions getting cooked more or less than others. And clearly the waitress had too many tables because we hardly ever saw her. Bottom line, it was not a good meal and not worth what we paid, and service was only fair. I would not recommend this Black Angus for Valentines Day. Normally, it's a pretty good restaurant, so we were very disappointed.

Everything was wonderful considering it was Valentine’s Day and it was very busy. Waitress was great. Only thing that wasn’t happy about was a side order that didn’t come out with the meal. We had to ask where it was before they brought it. Otherwise a 5 star experience

Valentines Day. We rarely go out to dinner even on holidays but we have always loved Black Angus. The food was good and so was the service. I had a coupon but it was not accepted on Valentines Day. I received the coupon on my phone that same day so I thought they would take it. I felt it was a trick to get you in for dinner on that day. I was very disappointed but still enjoyed our dinner.

The service at Valentine's Day was actually very good. We had a really good server. The food was fine, except the Rib Eye steak was not what I expected. Very thin, tough. My husband's New York steak was very good. All else was pretty good. We did the dinner for 2. It was a nice way to all courses, easily.

Tasty steak! I always love the food here. This location has been here a long time. The staff is friendly and bring out the food in a timely manner. Who are the chefs!? The make ever thing perfect. The molasses oat is one of a kind. If my kid likes it I like it’ :)

The waitress was great but it took 2 1/2 hours from the time we sat down to the time we left, getting our dessert to go. The waitress told us the food would be out shortly. Then another person came out and said he spilled the food all over him. Seems strange that 5 dinner plates would have spilled at the same time. The manager didn't seem to think there was a problem and didn't want to provide anything other than a 15% discount. Very disappointed in the length of time it took to get our meal. The wait time even included getting the dessert. It was so late we just asked to have it boxed up and took it home. Still had to wait at least 20 minutes to get it.

Food was good, although tustin ave location was better. We sat for about an hour before our food came out, drinks were slow coming out... waiter was nice but seemed too busy to adequately take care of all his tables. Had a reservation and still had to wait. Wasn’t horrible but still beliw expectation, chalk it up to just a one time not so great experience, will give FV location another chance at some point

First of all, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Could not have been nicer. The food was very good except some of it was not as hot as we would have preferred. Waitress was very willing to remedy that.

Requested a winbdow table. Ended up in a corner next to kitcheen and bussing station. I ordered my food telling the servet that i have a shellfish allergy. I explainef i was ordering a steak but the lobster was to go to my husband. When the meals arrived the lobster was on my platew next to my steak. My meal ended up being recooked while my husband ate his dinner alone. Mine came out 20inutes later. It was or 45th wedfing anniversary. Memorable but not in a good way.

Wrangler steaks were tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Molasses bread is delicious. All the "sidekicks" are prepared frag and are tasty. Overall, great place to eat. Don't forget your coupons.

I normally don't do reviews but this time I have to sit down and write a review after my trio meal.
I looked forward to the trio special and to my eager expectation it was not a pleasant meal for me at all.
I have never seen a lobster tail with meat as thin as this lobster tail. As for the steak I ordered MR and still it's so chewy that I had to kept on chewing on it than have to spit it out. Lastly! the 4 battered shrimp was not only over cooked but the oil that was used to fry the shrimp has the smell of old old grease.
To sum it up, the $20 for all that sounds good but it was not eatable. The only thing that I can eat was the steak soup and the baked potato.
Overall, we were very disappointed with our trio dinner & I would not recommend this to anyone at all.

Everything was great as noted, however when I made the reservation I specifically did not choose the "Bar TV Area" since I know it can get really loud in there. It was our night out without kids, and the ambiance, and noise level was more than we preferred. Our server was the BEST, food Excellent! THANK YOU!

We eat there for special occasions and randomnis. My wife can enjoy a cocktail the kids love the atmosphere I enjoy the quality for the price. We tried other places around town, however, either we wait to long for the check or the food or there are morons around us....... and most of all ITS NOT WOKE!

Black Angus continues to have the best prime rib in town at a great price!
