it appears that our server was new. It was fairly busy so perhaps this may have influenced the reason for forgetting to bring us requested items. The food however is always very good.

One of the few places where I’m willing to pay for a steak. We went for the “free prawns” and sadly they were over cooked but everything else about our meal was top notch.

I met a new friend for dinner/business at Black Angus Fountain Valley. The restaurant provided a pleasant atmosphere for conversation. Our server, Paige, was excellent. She checked on us periodically, but never interrupted the conversation with her questions. Paige was pleasant, informative, and efficient. I will continue to meet with people there.

It’s an awesome experience. We came to celebrate both of my sons birthday. The online reservation was so easy and convenient. The staff, James was awesome too. He took our orders and ensure our foods are correct and good. My sons had a really good birthday with a free chocolate cookie with ice cream, candle and staffs sang for them. Great. I will definitely come back soon and recommending people to come here.

The food was ok. The service was bad and slow. I asked for a straw and it took forever. I asked for gravy since mashed potatoes was too dry and didn’t come with any gravy and it never came. The waitress came and apologized and said she’ll check on it again when we’re already done with our dinner. I ordered au gratin potatoes and they gave me mashed potatoes. There was a strand of hair on my son’s salad. The prime rib was so so. Overall the food I cook at home is better. The service is too slow and bad. I was also overcharged on the bill. Wouldn’t come again.

When I arrived they said the table was waiting and we were seated immediately even though the waiting area was full. Food was decent and service was good. My only complaint is that I specifically requested a quiet area of the restaurant and we were seated very close to the kitchen and bussing station.

Made reservations for Valentines Day for 4, got seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Server took our drink order, 15 minutes later came back and said the bar is backed up our drinks should be there soon. Another 10 minutes and a flat Bud Light and a small, too sweet Old Fashioned showed up at our table. Beer goes back to exchange for a Stella. Server takes our order (we both got the dinner for 2x2 - appetizer, main dish and dessert). The 2 that got ribeyes asked for medium and seared, when they arrived they were a greyish color and very thin like you would get a low end grocery store and not seared at all. The other 2 got a full rack of ribs and a top sirloin. The top sirloin was thick and pretty but not medium, it was medium-rare. Our server was great, but the food was a HUGE disappointment, way less than quality for a steak house, and the "bar being backed up" and serving less than quality drinks is most definitely not acceptable! It was Valentine's Day, they should have been better staffed and their cooks need a cooking lesson, as well as the quality of steaks! A rib eye should be thick and marbled (I wish I would have taken a picture because I couldn't believe my eyes when they came out). I took mine home to my dog who enjoyed it!

It was a short wait, food took a bit but our server checked in constitanly. It was busy but it was Valentine’s Day but we had good service and yummy food. I recommand The pork chop!

This Black Angus was a reasonably priced steak house the food was good, not great, but was appropriately priced. The staff was very nice. We had set reservations and when we arrived, the place was packed and we were concerned about when we would be seated. But, we were seated close to our reservation time. All in all, we were happy with our experience.

WE arrived on time for our 5:30pm reservation. A manager tried to seat us in the bar area, which was unacceptable to us being that it was Valentine's Day. He seemed irritated that he had to take us to a table in the main dining area. Before we were even seated, he rattled off specials that we did not hear. Our dinner was served while we were in the middle of eating our salads...not acceptable. We felt rushed the entire 50 minutes that we were there. We'll never go back.

We went there for Valentine’s Day and it was the most horrific experience ever we literally were eating steak in a booth while watching two men beat each other up on TV low class. We spent $100 on what should have been a $20 experience

Our server took almost ten minutes to take our drink order and more than that to take our food order even though we told her that we were ready to order when she dropped off our drinks. Our food took 33 minutes to arrive after ordering. 33 minutes!! Plates were hot but the food was cold and my steak was terrible. Zero drink refills and another ten minutes to bring us the bill after we asked for it. I would have complained to the manager but we had a movie to catch and were already WAY behind thanks to the very slow service.

Server didn’t talk and when he did it wasn’t loud enough to hear or understand him. Brought a birthday desert over for our son, started singing happy birthday then literally walked away after 2 or 3 seconds. Took forever to get food, food wasn’t that great. Most likely will not be back.

WAS GIVEN A GIFT CARD FOR XMAS THAT HAD SMALL PRINT IN IT STATING CANNOT BE USED WITH OTHER OFFERS WHICH IS RIDICUOUS. COUPON WAS FOR 3 FREE SHRIMP WITH STEAK PURCHASE - MAYBE $5. WHEN WE GO TO PAY, THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT GIFT CARD AND AND WHEN I SAID CHARGE ME FOR THE 3 SHRIMP, I WAS TURNED DOWN. THEY LATER CHARGED ME $7 TO COVER THE SHRIMP IN ORDER TO USE A XMAS GIFT CARD. ON THE SIDE, THE RIB EYE WAS ABOUT 1/4 INCH THICK - THIS IS A STEAK HOUSE NOT DENNYS. I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 30+ YEARS AND NOW HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER DUE TO DECEIVING GIFT CARDS AND LOWER QUALITY OF MEAT.

When I made my reservation, I made a comment we were celebrating my Mom's Birthday...when the manager took us to our table, he asked if we were celebrating...I said YES...my Mom's birthday..he said ok I'll tell your server.... WELL...NO ONE acknowledged my Mom... signing all around us...but not for my Mom.

We were seated next to the worst place in the restaurant. That is next to the kitchen. Very noisy and every waiter runs through which totally impacts the ambiance of a dinner...Should really consider re-arranging traffic flow through there... Service was very slow. It seemed like there was an issue going on with our waitress. She might have had a conflict...one of her team mates told her in Spanish to be calm..."tranquillo"...for which was the indication confirmation that something was going on...There was trash on the floor which no restaurant worker would pick up...so I did...the food was not worth the price. The ambiance...not worth the price...I used to go there many times and the cost does is not commensurate with the quality of the food nor the service...I rarely don't give 15% tip...but this time...I felt that 10-15% range was enough without any second thought...

We went there for our anniversary dinner hoping to have a great prime rib, we had to send it back twice and just left in disgust. I don't know how they stay in business because the quality is horrible and the place looks horrible, nothing has changed in 20 years.

My wife and I celebrated or Anniversary that night. Over the years the service has at times seemed to slow down and we have had a couple of times when they forgot part of the meal.
One time in particular, we asked 3 times for the salad, and when they finally brought it, it was the wrong one.
On two occasions they brought the main course with the appetizers, which overcrowded the table and resulted in a lot of the appetizers to be taken home.

Other than that, we have always enjoyed our dinners at this Local Black Angus.
