Everything is good but I never got a discount for the food and I was did the reservation for it
We had a great time! Service and food were both great.
My friends ribeye was a little fatty, and mine was more medium well then medium.
All will be forgotten if you can tell me who the brunette was sitting behind us. 😊😊😊😊
Great service, great food, and great atmosphere. Would definitely recomend to friends.
They brought back our favorite appetizer the roasted artichoke but then were told it didn't qualify for our order even of we were willing to pay a couple dollars more as an up charge. The manager wouldn't even take the time to come talk to us.
The worst part is, its one of the lowest priced apps on the menu...
Great food, it was our 43rd Anniversary. They didn't have everything on the Menu but we made due. My Bake Potatoes soup was not too hot so ate it quickly. Steak a little over done, however she still enjoyed. Seating was really done nice, lots of space.
Great, personable waiter. Service timely. Overall, a good experience. But sirloin steaks here tend to be Well Done when ordered Medium Well and on the Rare side when ordered Medium.
It was amazing.
food was good. But waiter failed to mention a couple of the classic sides had now become a premium side. Also forgot to use the coupon codes that he had taken when we placed our order. So he had to go back and refigure the bill. But did remember we were there for a birthday and had the cowboy cookie ready to to.
Was not impressed with the steak...
Cut THIN... A little overcooked, pricy for what it was (think "Sizzler"
Staff was attentive, freindly... place was really nice inside... but...
Had to go to Federal Way as the Black Angus by me had closed. Got good service, had a good dinner and got a deal because we had a coupon.
My waiter was patient, kind and efficient. My family and in thank him for the great service!!!
Food came quickly, waitress was attentive. The food was fabulous, we were stuffed. Definitely will be back
We were celebrating my friend's birthday and it was lovely. Our meals were prepared as ordered. The 'birthday' cookie was a treat too.
i especially liked the lamb chops, but everything is good
would like to have 1000 island dressing available so i don't have to bring my own
Highly recommend Federal Way Black Angus. Good parking in lot, party of 3; ordered 2 salmon dinners & 1 cheeseburger. All were perfectly cooked.
Good value meal.
Meal was great. Ordered a cocktail not listed on the menu which was a mistake.
Food was excellent. Our sever Toshi was outstanding. Great job on drink refills.
Overall a good experience again! Disappointed a little in the drinks. Food was good though.
Really enjoyed our food and our waiter! Will for sure be back!
Great service and delicious food that always satisfies the family.
Service was attentive, congenial and considerate. Food consistently good. Tops in hospitality. Of course, we will go back.
Two rather unusual things: the turf & surf trios were served on such large platters they looked skimpy and sterile, not very appetizing— like we were being shorted, which we weren’t. One platter was even more vacant because its side of broccoli was missing.
Just sayin: “presentation makes a difference.”
You know when you decide to go out for a nice dinner, and the salad arrives with a hair in it? Well, how would you feel when a drink also contained a hair? I know—it’s just a hair, right? It’s not going to kill you— but if there are two hairs, what else is there?
Needless to say we will be choosing a better spot next time.
We have eaten at this Black Angus a few times every year. We enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. However, this visit, April 5th was not the same. First of all, we ordered the Teriyaki steak and chicken. About 13 minutes later, the wait person informed us that the kitchen didn't have any. She said they ran out and needed a few days to make more. We changed the order to the Baby back ribs which were very fatty, not good eating at all. I kept my top sirloin, ordered medium well and it was pretty charred when served. After a few bites, I cut most of the burnt off and tried to eat some of the meat. It was pretty much impossible to chew. It was probably the worst steak that I have ever had at a restaurant. They did remove the charge from the bill, but it was a very unpleasant meal.
We ordered the dinner for two. I had a beer she got an old fashion. The drinks came well after the salads and the drink was wrong. We weren't halfway done with the salad when our cold meals arrived. Then halfway through the meal our appetizer came.
$100.00 down the drain.
Food was decent but service horrible. Appetizer came after meal was served. Had to ask manager where our salad was. Salad came halfway thru the meal. No apology nothing. Basically all our food landed together so the appetizer wasn’t eaten and do you eat the steak or salad first? Things happen but no effort to fix or even show that they cared. $90 meal that had no alcohol or tip so not worth it!
Great food. A little understaffed but they were very nice and we were OK waiting a little longer knowing how busy they were that day.
Never had a bad meal at Black Angus. Food is excellent.
This restaurant is always Fantastic! We usually have the Campfire Dinner for two for $50.00 and what a deal when you use the coupon from their website!. Our guests usually order the same, and they always are impressed with how much great food you get and what a great bargain the meal is! We always end up taking the desert home. The servers and table bussers have been very good and always pleasant! Thank you Black Angus!
We love the staff and food. Tables were nicely spaced apart.
The service was excellent. Timely deliveries, worked with my husband with walker, waiter always had a smile, considerate, and made sure order was correct.
My Mom’s 1st restaurant outing in over a year!!!
Reservation process went well. The restaurant is pretty dark but that was okay with me. We were greeted not too long after we sat down. After ordering it took FOREVER to receive our food....so long. It was ridiculous. With reduced capacity because of Covid it should not have take that long. The food was absolutely inedible... disgusting. I got the rib eye and lobster. Lobster was actually okay, but the steak. Terrible. There was so much gristle that I couldn't even take a bite. My 12 year old got the steak from the kids meal and he couldn't eat it. It was full of gristle also and took him like 80 chews to finish one bite. What a waste of money. Terrible experience. If you go, maybe stick with the free bread, Caesar salad and lobster...or save your time and find a different place to eat.
I make a reservation for five three weeks in advance and request a table in the bar. We arrived ten minutes early, and were told we have to wait to be seated. We waited over thirty-five minutes [while we were waiting a party of five with no reservations got seated in the bar right away.] Then they tried to seat us in the back of the restaurant, when I said I had requested a tablet in the bar area I was told we would have to wait another twenty minutes.
When I have another birthday celebration I will never choose to go to the Black Angus, because they don't care about their customers.
great dining will go again was the perfect dinner
We have always had w
Excellent meals there. Always cooked to order.
Seated on time, great waitress, good drinks, Free Birthday steak and a shared Birthday dessert, quiet, prompt and excellent service and cleanup.
Our server was amazing
He was there when we needed something
Suggested the Cheese Cake
Will come back...
oh gosh. I hate writing negative reviews. Everyone is usually so ready to pounce and exaggerate trips to restaurants.
Personally, one bad trip usually doesn't mean to me that the restaurant in question is bad.
However, in this instance, given the circumstances, I feel the need to point this out.
Given the price point, I would have expected better quality in the meats that my wife and I ordered.
I ordered a ribeye steak; she had chicken.
The ribeye I got had overly large pieces of fat on it. It seems like that could have been an easy fix.
The baked potato I got was cold. To illustrate, the cheese and butter were not melted at all. Now, to be clear, all I wanted was those two things to be melted at least a little. I'd be ok if someone had put the potato in a microwave to re-heat. That's fine.
The overall plate was cool (temperature)
My wife's chicken (I sampled it) was flavorless. It looked kind of like some frozen chicken I used to buy back in the day when I was raising my kids and had to really stretch the dollar.
Look, I'm really not out to bag on restaurants, but given the price, I expected the quality of the food to be a smidge higher.
Food was fabulous but service was terrible, We had to ask repeatedly for our drink refills and initial water we requested. We had to ask for our Brown rolls that were supposed to come with the meal.
