Disappointed the Scallops were gritty. They didn’t have enough staff for the reservations and my usually large tip reflected this.

Great service and the ambiance was perfect ! I ordered the ribeye with scallops on the side . Steak was disappointing it was very thin . It wasn’t a horrible steak it was mediocre to my liking. My husband got the cowboy cut prime rib it was delicious! Overall the dinner was nice and enjoyable! I would go back and order prime rib!

We were having a family birthday dinner. One steak was so overdone that we couldn’t eat it. It was sent back, only to be almost raw the second time. It was sent back again, only to be a little overdone. We didn’t send it back as the rest of the family was finished eating.

We have been eating here since we used to live in Federal Way years ago, and even with a pandemic, the service and food quality are the same as ever! Definitely designed for social distancing and privacy, we've also used take out earlier and had no regrets.

We had a great steak dinner with excellent sides and a dessert to take home. Our server, Kim was excellent. We felt the social distancing was good with no one really near us in our booth.

It was my birthday and I put that down. My birthday wasn’t even mentioned. When I told them I forgot my coupon I was told sorry if it was in my phone they could honor the coupon. We ordered the prime rib anyway and it was much smaller than usual. We had asked for toppings and didn’t get them but were charged fir them. They did take the cost off our bill when we noticed it. We were very disappointed.

Was good...wasn’t happy with the lack of choices for sides. The Mac and cheese and the green beans were gone. And most of the sides were potatoes of some sort. Left little choices. Service was great...waitress was really attentive and helpful

We've not had a disappointing visit to Black Angus for the past year or so. Since 2019 it seems that Black Angus has made changes that have made our experience better. So we're comfortable with coming back as return customers.

We have been long time fans of this restaurant. Delight was our server, very attentive and made our dining experience very special. My husbands steak was perfect,my was a bit overdone. Delight offered to have them cook me a new one but I told her I would eat it. Our Steaks were tasty but a bit too salty I will ask to have them only lightly salt the steaks next time. We were very happy to see how Covid careful they were and will return. There are not very many places we feel comfortable being at due to our age.

During Covid. This is my first time dining out. Black Angus did a great job keeping the restaurant safe by making reservations only, social distancing, & masks required . Our waitress continuously wore a mask & gloves!!!

Dinner was perfect! We enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream to share, Bon appetit’

I had the lobster, shrimp and steak. I also had a baked potato, garden salad, and sautéed mushrooms. There was brown molasses bread too! Everything was delicious! Mac & Jaks beer in a frosty glass - terrific!

Dinner was nice, however we had to wait about 10-15 minutes even though we had a reservation at 7pm and was on time. Not sure what happened. When we got our our appetizer plates they were dirty along with a couple of my parties water glasses. Other than that the service was good and the food was great as well. I’d come back and recommend others here. I work in customer service and we can’t always be perfect. Mistakes happen and our waiter too care of us.

Our experience was sad to say the least we had trouble getting a table we first got there although when we arrived on time it was taken care of there was a piece of metal sticking out which caught the sweater of our friend the prices have gone skyhigh the prime rib was over cooked the broccoli was under cooked our server was kind of slow even though there wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant we believe that was the kitchen and one of our parties got very very sick that night and the only thing different that she ate was the artichoke dip but she was sick for a day and a half and then the next day after we were there the campfire feast which we had came on special for $49For these reasons we will not be back

We had a terrific meal at Black Angus. I'm surprised they're still offering 1/2 price bottles of wine, but it's a great value. I had Prime & Mud, and it was perfectly cooked. Our server was attentive without hovering, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

The only issue we had was that my "medium" new york steak was more of a rare. That wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Pink in the middle is fine, but bright red and bleeding everywhere wasn't what I had in mind. Usually they would ask me to check the steak when I received it, but not this time. And by the time the waitress came to check on us to see if everything was OK..... I didn't want the steak and it was practically cold. That was the only real issue we had. They aren't allowing ground pepper at the moment, which I don't understand because the patrons never touch the pepper mill..... only the employees. So, there was no ground pepper for my steak. I do like this place, but this wasn't one of our most enjoyable times.

The service was really mediocre. The food was not great and it tastes spoiled or bad. My husband said his steak didn’t taste like real meat. Potatoes weren’t cooked all the way through. The server was pleasant. Won’t be going back and it was for our anniversary

Had a great time. We had the Campfire Feast Dinner. Prime Rib was perfect. Had the Canyon Road Cab which was awesome. Half price bottles is a great price $11.50 a bottle. Wish I would have known before I ordered a carafe for the same price. All is good. Bought two bottles. Can take home if you can't finish it. Always look forward to having dinner here. One of our favorite places.

Got seated right away. Amy was our server and she was great! Very efficient and polite. Knew the menu and specials and answered questions about types of steak. Felt very comfortable and safe there. Good food and portions. FYI I always use their coupons or we probably wouldn’t go out for steak. We went there for my birthday in August and really enjoyed it so went back this time for my husband’s birthday. Yes we will go back again!

Service was amazing. The guy we had was quick to ensure that we were never without and when he went on break, someone else made sure to come check on us. We both had the prime rib and the cook was perfect. The meat wasn't super fatty and the crust on it was delicious. We typically go to one closer but they were out of reservations so we went to federal way. May have to make the drive again with how great everything was.
