Yes for bread 3 times by the server and somebody else had to bring it she didn't return her a table only once or twice didn't give her a tip my wife gave her $2
Very average, the service was outstanding. But the food was nothing special, and the price for it was definitely not worth it. Would not go back.
We frequently visit Black Angus, usually after a movie. Love the food. Service is good.
The menu options, the food and service were GREAT. We celebrated a family birthday and we all enjoyed the delicious food and outstanding service. Thank you!
The occasion was our 27th anniversary. It's funny that our first date was at the Black Angus in San Jose all those years ago.
Got booth as requested and since it was lunch meeting, very little noise.
It was my birthday and I ordered the prime rib/lobster tails dish. I enjoyed my lunch and would definitely come again for any special occasions. Our waiter was very attentive. Thank you!
Service was the Best! Delightful server....Spot on the entire meal. Served quickly (but never felt rushed) wih a cheerful and friendly attitude.
Food was inconsistent. One filet steak was tender and delicious; another was dry and tough. We eat here regularly and normally the food is excellent so we did not complain. Our server was friendly and efficient.
We enjoy the food and ambiance of Black Angus. It is affordable and intimate especially nice for conversation.
we were very pleased with the food and with the service we received. We were initially a bit concerned when a party of 12 or 14 including small children were seated next to us, but our concerns were proven to be unwarranted. Service to the group went spectacularly well keeping them from becoming bored and restless and it did not impact our service in the slightest.
Color us very pleased with our experience.
Food was good service okay. Not bad for a Friday night. All in all not bad but not spectacular.
When we got there everything was fine. We usually do not have any issues when we visit. However, this time was the worst service we have ever had. We ordered appetizers and our dinner along with our sides. We get our appetizers and immediately got our dinners, but we did not get our sides of soup or salads. When we told the server who brought it out the woman had an attitude saying “this wasn’t my table and I’m not your server”. They took the food back supposedly to keep it warm for us, but it was cold when we got it back. When we got our soup and salad it was the wrong soup. Our server was Yvonne, and she was the worst server we have ever had at Black Angus! Terrible service! If we eat here again and our server is Yvonne we will walk out.
The ribs were better than expected and we will order again. The potato soup tasted too oniony.
We're regulars so it is hit or miss each time we go. This time was good. Great service. Asked and got table near bar for view of Warriors playoff game. Restaurant was somewhat quiet but it was holiday weekend
we went to Pleasant hill Black angus recently, and were VERY VERY Disapointed, the service was Horrible, this place is Ran By Idiots at best, Take Your Grandma there, she will say it hasnt Changed a Bit, just as She remembers it
anyways we went To Dublin, and it could Not Have been better, we asked for medium well steaks, and it was a little under cooked, but it Tasted Great, they served our Food on Hot Plates, we Got 8oz filet steaks, brussel sprouts and asparagus, and 3 modelos, and carrot cake
All was as it Should be!!
We Will be back next saturday!!!!!
always a favorite, service is always friendly. this restaurant is a definite go to for my friends and family. at least once a month we go in for the prime rib and wagon wheel sampler
Why don’t we get points for dining at black angus?
Steaks with 3 jumbo prawns was our special. The service by Arturo was excellent.
We wanted surf & turf to celebrate our 51st anniversary — server Yolanda was awesome. She didn’t hesitate to replace the shrimp cocktail appetizer when it came out totally frozen! Otherwise our meal was perfect. We patronize this location for its private & quiet booths. Lovely experience
Julie provided great service.
The food is usually great. I had to send my steak back and it still was not extra well done as requested.
Dinner that night was good service was excellent. We stopped coming here because every time we came here we had a bad experience I’d 90% of the time. The time before this was was the last straw we had a very bad experience when my wife and I sat in the bar. Long story short manager ended up giving my wife a $50.00 gift card as I had to leave before I lost my temper on the bar tender. I still don’t know if I would return but my wife keeps giving you guys chances.
Great Mother’s Day dinner!
We have been regular customers since the restaurant opened. All in all we keep coming back because it is a great value, especially the campfire feast with coupon. We have never had a bad server. We like to get in and out quick, and they do bring out the food very quickly.
Good value all around,
We went on Mothers Day and luckily we made a reservation, only had to wait a few minutes to be seated and the service was quick and attentive despite it being extremely busy.
The table was ready for after waiting a few minutes. Service was very good and the food was as well. We are never disappointed.
The food is always good we don’t have one in Modesto so I had to travel to find one in this one in Dublin California is really good
The service and seating was great and the food was good except the lobster was the Worst my husband has ever had...it was for his birthday too😬
Great visit. Excellent service, my salmon was cooked just right. Our server was on top of things our whole visit.
As usual, the food was fantastic. Prime rib, fire-grilled chicken, and the lamb shanks special, which is what we specifically came for, followed by a delicious lemon poppy seed cake dessert to finish off an excellent meal. Even though the Pleasant Hill location is much closer to where we live (it's still not open), Dublin was well worth the trip. Thanks Black Angus for a great afternoon!
Our server Aisha provided the most excellent service of my lifetime. The food was great However, the service was better. Our entire group was impressed with our service!
This was the first time I was disappointed of my favorite restaurant in the Hacienda Shopping Center. No the regular special treatment I get on my birthday, they were swiping the floor around us and pushed us out before the closing time. I'll never go there on a Sunday night again!
We asked for a wheelchair table we got a booth. The food was terrible.
Well for the last few times here i ordered the Ribeye and it was pretty tough. I kept telling myself it was random but now I have decided not to order it again. I ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer for the first and last time. The shrimp was very soft and over cooked and I didn’t eat them all.
We went for my wife's birthday and took our son and two grand kids. I was disappointed in the steaks. Black Angus is suppose to be known for the steaks. I had the sirloin which had very good flavor, but I thought it was tough. My wife had the filet and it was good. My son said the rib eye was just OK. My grandson had a kids sirloin and it was very tough, almost inedible. The sides were all very good and the service was very good. We wont be going back any time soon. For the money, we can get better steaks at several restaurants in our area.
Our waitress, Megan, was phenomenal! Friendly, attentive, and a fast helper. Gave superior customer service with a smile. Restaurant was full but she kept returning glancing and smiling our way, asking if we are in need of anything and also refilling our drinks and our bread. Megan and the team that night looked happy to sing happy birthday to our daughter (we absolutely LOVE the birthday cookie with ice cream- birthday wish is to have that recipe!). Molasses bread is killer too! Awesome experience that night. Always a great experience at Dublin Black Angus!
Very nice dinner.. Exxcellent service.. Great value..
