Convenient location, pleasant staff. Great steaks and lobster tails.
Fantastic steak and lobster. Superb service. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and service tonight. Sometimes this is inconsistent, but most of the time our experience is good.
Best steaks and side dishes ever!! I have been many high end steak houses ( Vic Stewart/Ruth Chris/ Broadway prime ) but Black Angus is so much better !!
Great as always
Our waiter was terrific and everyone in the group loved their meal selection.
We ALWAYS have a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food is reliably good, and the service is always excellent - we highly recommend it, but if you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, make reservations!!!
Celebrate a Birthday with family.
We enjoy the food, atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant. It is always a treat going the Black Angus for either a simple dinner or special occasion. Thank you.
Although I have patronized Black Angus for many years finding good meals at a fair price, I have a couple negatives:
I no longer order margaritas because the last few, several years ago, were mostly ice with a couple ounces of liquid. On pointing this out to my waiter, he brought out the bartender who stated that what I had was a "standard pour". Fine. If that's a standard pour, I'll not order margaritas.
I have learned not to order the green beans because they are so under cooked that they taste like cattle feed. Ordering something else instead, I've not explored the option of asking for properly cooked beans.
Friday March 9, longest wait to be served our meal EVER. In town eatery, open table reserv, easy! If we could have gotten fed within the hour of arriving... Waitress approached us twice with apology for no meal, not her fault kitchen wasnt turning out orders
Great food and great service. We come here often with family, friends and just the two of us.
Black Angus is the first restaurant we must visit whenever we arrive in Dublin. We enjoy the great steaks .
Great food consistently.
Good food and service.
I love this place best food and experience ever great service and great people all the way around I love going here on dates or even anniversaries I love the prime rib so good
Same great Black Angus experience I have had since first going there 40 years ago!
Unfortunately we were sat in a booth next to the bar, so the person waiting our table was also the bartender. The service was slow and sporadic since the bartender was busy even though the restaurant was not very busy. This is the second time my party has been seated in this area and I will leave the next time if that is our only option for a table.
We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary and it was wonderful. The service was outstanding and the food was great. We had made reservations so the wait time was very minimum. We loved the special platter, prime rib, jumbo prawns, and sides. It was our first time trying the large plate-size freshly cooked warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. Yummy, it was delicious!
I only wish I had taken photos of our meals. Leftovers were enjoyed the next day because portion size is more than enough. I am glad we came to Black Angus to celebrate our anniversary and I would highly recommend Black Angus to anyone for any event or just a casual meal.
We sat for over 30 minutes before we even got soup and salad. Finally the waitress came back and said our order was lost. She said she'd make it up to us. Finally got our meal. Got the bill and there was nothing taken off for the poor service. This has happened too many times there. We won't be back. It was my husbands birthday and it was a flop.
Our server Caitlyn was really sweet, attentive and had an overall friendly upbeat personality. She made our lunch a fun experience.
First, my family arrived separately. I told the front desk to take my family to where I sit when they come. It ended with sitting at two different tables.
Second, the food was wrong, the steak and baked potato were not what I ordered.
Third, the waiter's attitude is really bad when I asked questions.
Will definitely not recommend to others about this place.
Black Angus is good for an everyday meal. It’s casual and food was good, but 3 of 5 entrees were not cooked as ordered. We were able to switch one steak with another in the group and returned 2 to be redone.
Open Table provided an simple way to make a reservation.
Food at Black Angus was generally good, but we felt it was very pricey for what we got. I ordered the filet mignon sandwich and asked for a garden salad instead of French Fries or cold slaw but was disappointed that it would cost an additional $2.50. $20.00 for a sandwich and a salad just seemed ridiculously expensive. Service was spotty; orders were taken and served, but little details were not attended to; e.g., bread was served, but had to wait awhile before we got our bread plates and silverware/napkins.
We've dined at Blank Angus for years, but it's been several years since we were last there. So, it was very apparent that prices have skyrocketed, and portion sizes have gotten smaller. Seems that the restaurant is scrimping on everything to save money, including the amount of bread we got, and the steak and side dish portions.
I would much rather have spent a little more money at the Forbes Mill or Wente for a top notch meal.
We all had the steak and giant prawns selection, and we all enjoyed the food. Aaron provided excellent service and was very personable.
Please bring back the grilled/fried chicken wings. We really loved those as an appetizer.
Our waitress was excellent. Our ordering always involves extra care and everything was perfect.
Great girls night out!
Food was adequate. Problem was multiple mistakes on order. Heard other tables complaining about the same thing. Communication with the waitress and kitchen seemed bad.
Good food and service. My husband and I eat there frequently. We will be going back.
Unfortunately we experienced the same exact misfortune after convincing my husband to return after 2 years . It started off great then deteriorated from there . We both ordered NY steaks , his med rare and mine med. Then the server brought me prime rib instead ! Waitress had pushed the wrong button ! By the time my steak done it was rare and had to go back again . This time it returned after my husband was done eating !We took it all home in a box . Same exact thing happened last time . Unreal !!
Black Angus pulled basically a legal "bait & switch" us with a coupon they sent out a week before Valentines Day, but then didn't honor on Valentine's Day. So we ended up leaving and feeling like suckers. The coupon had "Valentine's Day" in the add, and the word "early", so it prompted me to make reservations, but when you read it closely, it was advertising an early Valentines Day special for the weekend before Valentine's Day, not the day of. I spoke to the manager and they would not honor it. She said they had been turning down people all night and couldn't make an exception for us. Obviously we weren't the only ones that fell for this. They lost a long time customer and I will never frequent their establishment again. If I am going to pay full price, I will eat at Cattleman's or Texas Road house. You blew it Black Angus! You obviously know nothing about customer service.
Food was great and so was the service
I usually have prime rib but decided to get filet for a change. It was more like top sirloin and not much flavor. I’ll stick with prime rib in the future - it’s usually good.
One thing I didn’t like is the seating for 4. They gave us a small table not a booth.
The food was prepared perfectly
It was decent, but for the price it was not good. The steaks/food is better at outback or Texas Roadhouse for cheaper. I went here 10 years ago and it was great. Just seems dated now.
Had Valentine dinner, restaurant was busy, staffing was appropriate and the service was excellent despite the huge volume of customers. The restaurant is well managed and the food arrived quickly and was excellent.
I still miss the grilled chicken wings appetizer. Please bring those back.c
I've always enjoyed the food and service at Black Angus - they never fail to deliver.
Our server Megan was awesome, food was good but my steak was a bit over cooked for medium rare. Always a good value with the Campfire Feast.
