   I’ve been coming here since the early 90s I love the food. I was not a fan of the salad or the mashed potatoes this visit. The salad was mostly cabbage and carrots. I never thought I could have a bad salad at Black Angus until now. the potatoes were supposed to be mashed but yet I had 3 whole untouched potatoes in my mashed potatoes. the filet mignon is always excellent

   We started off with the grilled artichokes but our server never thought of bringing plates so we would eat them. We asked for plates but she forgot, but never brought them, finally we asked the bus boy and he took care of us. We each the steak and shrimp special, both were a tad over cooked but not by much. It was our 15 Anniversary; we had put it down on our reservation but wasn't mentioned until it came time for dessert. Our server asked how long we had been married and said we get a cowboy cookie with ice cream. Service was fast. Experience was much better then our last few times there.

   IMPRESSIVE! It had been many years since we'd last eaten at Black Angus. We were glad we returned! The service was so friendly and the food was AMAZING, especially the grilled artichoke! Thanks to everyone on this team who made our evening so special. We'll definitely be back!

   Prime rib was not as good as last visit. Not sure I will be back. Wedge had brown lettuce which was not very appealing.

    The food and service were good as always. I didn’t realize you had a special menu for Mother’s Day. We always order nachos wedge salads and au gratin potatoes none of which were on the menu?! However the Brie stuffed filet was delicious!

    Although we were seated right away, the kitchen was very slammed, and we had to wait way too long for our bread, appetizer, main course, and dessert. Usually, the server makes sure that our water glasses are kept full, and we had to get a different server to find out why the kitchen was not producing our dessert. We had to stay over two hours at the restaurant, and we were so tired that we could not wait to get out of there.

    Extremely small lobsters. Prime rib had NO flavor. Crab was just okay. We expected nore. Over meal was not okay for Mothers Day.

    Food was good, knew to the area so I’m still trying out steakhouses and restaurants in the area. Price point and quality was better than the previous chain I’ve tried so they’re something I’ll try again in the future.

    Reserved with special event I.E. balloons and card for Mother’s Day celebration. Arrived at 5:00 for a 5:15 reservation and told they would call for us closer to our reservation time. Asked if we went to bar if they would call for us there which we were told they would. Enjoyed a drink at the bar and watched as multiple guests were called for seating. At 5:28 enquired how much longer we would be waiting as we had another engagement following dinner. Host searched tablet and obviously could not find us, but stated they would seat us now. We got to table and there was nothing set up as ordered (balloons or card). At this point my wife obviously disappointed elected to leave. Very disappointed in service especially being frequent customers and reserving well in advance of date. Based off this experience I could not recommend Black Angus if you are trying to celebrate a special event.

    Went to Black Angus for our anniversary dinner. I booked a special reservation for $10 and they gave us a bell with balloons attached, a card and a cookie. The food was very good and service was pretty quick.

    This is our all time favorite steak house. The food is great. Lots of choices. We always have the Campfire feast that comes with appetizer, entree, 2 sides and a huge dessert. All of it yummy. Can't beat the price. We recently went to another local steak house and for more money we got a steak and a flop of mashed potatoes. No bread nor salad, just those 2 items. BA has very good acoustics so you can actually have a conversation with your other guests. We also had great service. If you like steak this is the place to go.

    Our waitress was exceptional!! Best service I've gotten from Black Angus in Citrus Heights. Only complaint I have is that the prime rib was sorta tough. But it would be easier to cut if the knives were of better quality. It was like sawing a log.

    Food quality and service were what you would expect, no surprises. Nothing was what I would call great, excellent or above and beyond, just good food, good service and pleasant surroundings. Mashed potatoes were cold but steak was very good and the right temp. Overall a good experience. Will be going back without hesitation.
