Awesome as always. We eat there usually at least every few weeks
Music was kind of loud, steak was nothing special especially for the price. Everything is an upgrade, butters, steak toppings, salads, premium sides, etc. first time I’ve been and not in a huge hurry to go back. The server was the saving grace for me. Very knowledgeable and kind. Always on top of refills and checked in regularly.
Our reservation made a week in advance was for 6 pm but seating was not until 6:35 . It was Mothers Day so some wait was to be expected . The food is always good. My husband did not think he was served the scotch he ordered but we had waited so did not want to make matters worse. I will still refer friends to the restaurant but will probably not go there for special days.
Our very favorite place for reasonable pricing on prime rib and lobster. We also enjoy the campfire feast for two, when they run specials on it. Their food is great for the price.
Be prepared to wait. We had a 5pm reservation on Mother's Day. We did not settle up on our bill until just before 7pm. The drinks and the appetizers came out in a timely fashion, but then we waited... and waited. Our waiter walked by from behind us, so he wouldn't have to make eye contact. Eventually, he came over and said we were his only table, and he was just waiting for our food to come out. When the food did arrive, it was dried out and lukewarm.
A table to our left arrived well after we ordered and got their meals at the same time we did.
We asked to speak to the manager, and she apologized and said they were really busy. When the waiter came back with the check and asked the cursory "Was everything alright?," we asked to speak to the manager again. She gave us one comped meal and 15% off the rest of the food. (We tipped the waiter based on the original amount, because it wasn't his fault.)
Been to this location many times and have never disappointed with the service or food.
Excellent service. We had a nice family dinner. Thank you!
The food was very tasty but the waitress could have been a little more helpful with the menu. She assumed we had been there before and we hadn’t. I then began asking if she could tel us about the menu and she seemed annoyed. Her service also seemed rushed and not attentive.
Awesome restaurant !!! Great food !!! Great service !!!
Mother’s Day special was great in taste and price. Service was great and it wasn’t too crowded.
I had made an advance reservation to take my elderly mother-in-law and my mother, along with their husbands and my husband, for dinner on Saturday night to celebrate Mother's Day. My mother-in-law cannot stand very long, and also, cannot be out very late. She has some significant health issues. Our reservation was for 5:30. We arrived at 5:20. The hostesses continued to tell us that our table was being prepared. That was a lie. Finally, someone told us that they had to wait for someone to get up before we could be seated....in the mean time, they seated another party of 6 who DID NOT have reservations before us. My husband explained several times to the hostesses that we needed to be seated - there were too many people sitting in the lobby, and no one made room for my mother-in-law, who now was hurting. We were seated at 6:05 - 35 minutes after our advanced reservation. What is worse, is we were seated in a booth that could only accommodate 5 people with no room - we had 6. They obviously didn't get us a larger area, and squeezed us in there. Both of my father and father-in-law's legs hung off the edge of the booth on both sides...everyone was squished together, and it was miserable. The waitress (a new waitress) was lovely, and kind and very attentive, and even mentioned that she was sorry there wasn't much room. I was livid. This was supposed to be a nice night out - instead, it turned into a very trying night, and no one could enjoy it or even lift their arms to eat well. My husband is 6'3"...he had no leg room and was very upset. We will not be back to your restaurant. Reservations mean nothing to you, nor does the comfort of your guests. That is sad, because we wanted to have a nice evening with good food. Your food was good....but we mostly took it home, since we couldn't fit anything or anyone. Hopefully, you guys will get your act together (and the 4 women idiots working your hostess booth are ridiculous and rude).
I specified 6 adults, 2 kids, and 1 car seat on our reservation. When we got there, check in was quick, but our table was set for 5 adults and 2 kids plus a high chair. I was told they do not have slings to accommodate car seats. The hostess said to flip the high chair over to hold the car seat, however, I informed her that is not safe with the style of high chair because it’s unstable and there’s a clear safety warning on the bottom of the high chair from the manufacturer that states not to do that due to the risk of it tipping over. She responded with “we do it all the time.” We ended up moving the table more to one side to squeeze everyone and the car seat in. It was more cramped than I would have liked, but at least we semi fit.
The day I went it was hot out- over 95° and the AC was not working. Became very warm. I ordered prime rib and asked for it to be between med and med well because and I stressed I like my food hot. It came to me luke warm. Only thing hot were the potatoes. Like they cooked everything else first. Not real happy with my experience.
We were celebrating my son’s birthday. The food was great! Would definitely go back!
Made reservations and the restaurant was very busy due to Prom and large groups. I too had a group of 8. Due to the restaurant being very busy, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the table. Once seated, I had to go and alert the hostess after some 10 minutes that we would like our waiter or waitress to stop by. One quickly came and service was great after that. The manager brought us several free appetizers and apologized for the wait. Our food was amazing and service was great afterwards. Would dine again, considering they were swamped.
I was going to tell you what I really felt, but that would be cruel, so I erased it all. Overall the evening was just fine, but not spectacular and we were not very impressed with the service. Thank you.
Always have a wonderful dinner and experience here and waite staff are always great. Love, love , love this restaurant for any occasion. We go at least 2 times a month for dinner
I ordered the half rack New Zealand lamb. It was good however for 27.99 you get 4 small lamb chops, and two sides. In my case I ordered a salad and went with the upcharged premium side of grilled asparagus of 5 stalks which was somewhat woody. My wife ordered the grilled shrimp salad which there were just 4 average sized shrimp and the dressing was only on the last quarter of the salad. My wife had to order additional dressing. All in all the value is very poor for the portion of food you receive. Service was quite slow as it took forever to get another order of bread and when we asked for extra dressings etc. it took a while. The food was fresh and tasted good with the addition of salt and pepper but unfortunately Black Angus to us is definitely not the enjoyable experience any longer than they used to be. We will be changing to Texas Roadhouse for all our steak needs going forward. We have never been dissatisfied there.
Great overall for date night and celebration. Server was amazing, drinks on point
Great food and service. Our server went out of her way to entertain and accommodate our 11 month old.
Was hungry for steak, so decided to try this place. Food was great. They had a Meal for 2 for like $60 with a wide variety of options. It was perfect. Tried a couple of different drinks and they too were very well done. Would definitely visit this particular establishment again. The waiter was very attentive and humorous.
It was an awesome date night. Patty was the best!!
Outstanding meal. Better than the so called upscale steakhouses. Brandon, our waiter was just the right combination of entertaining and professional. A gem. Great evening tho I did have trouble with adding more than 2 when I attempted online reservations.
Everything about our recent dinner at Black Angus was exceptional. Christine, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant to deal with. The food was delicious (the Caesar salad is big enough to share and the best we’ve had anywhere). My husband celebrated his birthday with a complimentary steak, the menu also offers a large selection of sides to choose from. The broiled shrimp fixed to perfection. The molasses-oat bread is outstanding.
Our service was excellent. Jenny T was an amazing server. She was very friendly, never left us alone for too long and made great recommendations. We ordered filet mignon and lobster tails. My filet looked more like a sirloin but had great flavor but the lobster tail was way too salty and tasted way too fishy. My Dad's filet looked great and he was happy and he liked the lobster so maybe it was just my taste buds. We ordered the white chocolate bread pudding and it came out cold. We asked Jenny if that is how it is normally served and she said no and she heated it up and brought it back right away. Delish.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday the atmosphere and food was great, the music was louder than usual
Great experience as usual. Well prepared, flavorful food and great service. That's what keeps us going back for more!
The steaks were perfect. We ordered nachos for our appetizer and they were the best I ever had. Also the desert was awesome!! Our waiter was friendly and had a great sense of humor. Fantastic evening.
The service was very poor. The bread was overcooked and tough. I buy far better cuts of ribeye steaks at any grocery store.
We had a GREAT Easter lunch. The food was excellent, the service outstanding. Kaylin B. was our waitress. The pace of service was perfect. Just an overall wonderful experience.
I had the 8 oz Prime Rib. It was properly seasoned and grilled, and tasted great. It did however come with a bit of grissle, which should have been trimed prior to cooking. Although the restaurant was busy ( we were there on Easter Sunday), service was excellent, sound level was quite acceptable, and most important of all, THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.
Great steaks and had a coupon for free lobster tails. Say no more! It was our 3rd anniversary, so we had Togo somewhere special.
Great food, not great service.
Meh. That’s all.
We had an excellant meal and time as per usual. The staff and facility was great. We will be back.
Had a lovely evening out with friends. We all had a steak with the free lobster tail. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had excellent service.
We went to Black Angus for my birthday, had to ask the hostess and server twice for a booster chair for one of the kids. We ordered the kids dinner first and she didn't bring silverware, so the kids couldn't eat, we asked 3 times and finally got it. My husbands meal was wrong and billed incorrectly on the ticket, we had to beg for another glass of wine and this is all in a not so busy restaurant. We probably won't be back soon.
Artichoke appetizer and pesto mayo was good. Ordered prime rib and crab and filet and King crab. Food arrived cold, including king crab. Prime rib and filet were undercooked. Crab was over cooked and leathery. Barely any drawn butter given, had to request that as well. No utensils to eat the crab provided until requested ten minutes later then still had to request napkins and wetnaps separately. Service was ok. Definitely a disappointing birthday dinner especially for the Money spent!
Service was amazing but we almost waited 45 minutes even though we had a reservation. Will not be going back any time soon.
very good, and very short wait time
