Prime Rib was tough, disappointed. Did not say anything though.
Food was great. Expected something more "upscale". Not disappointed but not what the website made it out to be.
A wonderful 54th wedding anniversary dinner. The prime rib and shrimp dinners were very good and reasonably priced and the waiterdid a great job. Will come back soon and recommend to our friends.
Great food, great service, a little pricey.
A bit overpriced for the atmosphere, service, and meal presentation. Steaks were tasty but thin, and plate presentation and service were no better than Village Inn, Denny's or Red Robin. If you want to pay $30.00 -$35.00 for a steak, I would recommend Flemming's or The Keg. They have the ambiance and service to match the price point.
The service was outstanding. The quality of the food excellent and it was prepared just right.
I had yhe 1 pound prime rib, I'll be back!
Made reservation for 4 to celebrate my 44th Bday! We were seated immediately and received GREAT service including a song from server Samantha... All around WONDERFUL experience! Thanks
Food was the best we have had there. Very clean and pleasant. Waitress was super good
Bartender in very casual wear. She served customers with her cell phone in her ear. We took out drinks out to the patio got locked out she saw us waving looked away then opener the door..we said thank you she said nothing. I told the manager that she seemed to have bad attitude and he said no she doesn't I must be mistaken! He didn't even care to ask why I said that.
My in laws wanted to go there for a nice dinner out and it was a delightful experience.
Hostess sat wrong people on my reservation then I had to wait and wasn't seated till 7:30pm,service was slow in taking order
We like it very much. The steaks are excellent and a fair price. Not overwhelmingly expensive but very tasty. Loved the Caesar salad. All was very good.
Just a bit disappointed in the amount of fat in my ribeye, but it probably lent to the flavor.
Nothing special about the presentation.
Service is good and attentive but food is just average. Not very creative.
It was busy, but not too bad considering it was thanksgiving. The hot appetizer was slightly warm. Knowing the kitchen would be running on all fours, the overall experience was very good.
They always have good food... Service is fine.. getting to be too pricey...
It was great and service was quick and easy.
Went for the Thanksgiving special...it was awful! Two small broccoli stems that were cold, 3 small sweet potato cubes, 2 slices turkey, with minimal gravy, mashed potatoes with a teaspoon of gravy on it, pumpkin pie dry, with cream that was like milk. I am hoping it was just location, since we normally go to Glendale.
We always have a pleasant late dinner there on birthday's, and sometimes on Holiday's too. We usually request a waitress named Chris there when we go, because she takes good care of us. Dinner is served in a timely manner, and drink's are refilled as needed. We tip her well, because of the great service that she give's to us.
It was Thanksgiving and the meal presented was great. Our waitress was wonder.
Delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere.
Dinner was good, could have been a little warmer though
Excellent anytime. This time was for Thanksgiving dinner.
Our Waiter Chris was super lovely - the Thanksgiving dish we had was okay - sweet potatoes were undercooked. It was just fine for the price of 19.99.
Second year having Thanksgiving dinner at Black Angus. Good is really good and even had leftovers to take home. Or server was very attentive and very pleasant. We enjoyed our holiday.
We were two parties of four. It wasn't possible for us to sit at one table. There seems to be a limited amount of space for larger parties. Last year we had a booth for six, which was very nice. Both years, the food and service were excellent. Handled a full restaurant for Thanksgiving meal with cheerful and timely service.
The waitress we had was so friendly and kind on a very busy day. She was very professional.
Wow.....is all I can really say,for the price it was diffently 5 star,large portions, great swrvice,wonderful server.....fast at orders,serving and plesant......thank you
We have been going to Black Angus for Thanksgiving for about 10 years now. The price is great and so is the good. The staff is always friendly and the place so clean.
Our server was terrific. Friendly and accommodating, she made the celebration special.
We had the surf 'n'turf with steak, lobster, and shrimp. The dinner was delicious and cooked just to our liking and the service was friendly, timely, and they even brought my mother-in-law a birthday cookie/ice cream surprise dessert with candle. Very sweet of them. Quite an enjoyable evening.
Awesome steak, tender and juicy and veggies excellent
We dine regularly at the Black Angus in Chandler, Arizona simply because the service is always top notch and the food is consistently excellent. We also take advantage of the frequent specials that are usually incredible values.
I would recommend using the Open Table site to secure your time to dine. Saturday night we were able to seat the minute we walked in.
Good job Open Table and Black Angus !
We went to celebrate my daughter in law's 40th birthday. Food and service were perfect, and it was quiet enough that we could hear other talk!!
While the food was delicious, the manager was on the phone when we came in and nobody greeted us or sat us for a while. He just kept talking on the phone. Finally a waitress came and got us. We sat outside because it was beautiful weather and it was great until a family came along and sat out there. They proceeded to let their six and nine-year-old boys play cartoons on their cell phone very loudly during the entire dinner. No one at the restaurant told them they needed to turn it down or turn it off so that other people around don’t have to listen to it. We were there during happy hour and ordered two glasses of wine, we tried to get refills before happy hour ended and the waitress forgot and then came back and told us they were out of that wine so we selected another one and they were out of that as well. When we chose a third selection that they had, it was 7:05 PM and she said she couldn’t give us the happy hour price. We had to ask for a manager to get it okayed since we had ordered it about 15 minutes earlier and proceeded with her forgetting and then being out of the selections. We shouldn’t have even had to ask for that. The manager okayed it but seemed irritated and did not apologize either. It was not the best ambience .
It was a nice gentle evening. Service was good and the person was nice and on top of everything.
The Black Angus has always been our restaurant of choice for any occasion. We live over 40 miles away but will do the drive for the food and service. We have never had a bad meal nor bad service.
Had a nice dinner with a friend and the food was delicious, great value with a coupon and quick service!
Best food and service the black angus is the best place to get a good stake.
