I normally would have nothing but nice things to say about this place. But they failed horribly on veterans day. Took my dad (a vet) and my hubby (for his bday). They didn't offer anything discounted or free for the vets like outback did. Also when we mentioned the birthday they just brought him the cookie and said happy birthday after spoiling the surprise. No singing or sorry we didn't read your special instructions when putting in your reservations. Bad bad customer service.
Love that campfire special! I took my son for dinner. He is definitely a steak and potato kind of guy! We that deal we also got an appetizer. We chose the fried zucchini. It was delicious. loved the cucumber sauce that came with it. I paid a little extra ($3) and got the filet mignon. So worth it. Cooked perfect. My son got the new york and it was really big. Salad was really fresh and the service was great. The special also included dessert!! We took home the mud pie. So yummy. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Our experience was just fair. First, though I did tell the host we had a reservation, the host did NOT mark we arrived on Opentable so I had to fix with Opentable after the fact. Second, the service was very slow and impersonal. Third, I had also listed it was a BIRTHDAY with Opentable so that was not acknowledged. Finally, I asked for a dessert with candle at the end for the birthday (after the check was given to us BEFORE we had a chance to order dessert?!). And when the bill came back for my signature, the dessert/candle was added to the bill with no detail confirming it. (Not necessarily expecting a free dessert but also no prior notice they were going to add it after they took my credit card.) Food was ok but there are better restaurants for the price/service/value/ambience. I would not plan to do again given so many other chain and local choices in the Burbank/LA area.

AT FRONT DOOR WAS A LADY SELLING FAKE FLOWERS (PLASTIC),got me and my family to feel bad and we bought 25.00 dollars worth of fake flowers that we don't need.
our waiter, Matthew, was very good. He was right on top of things. He gave us time to eat our salads before bringing the main course out. He met our every needs. Also, Max the bus boy is truly amazing. He is so efficient, quick, and observant. He is always"Johnny on the spot" to bring more water, more refills on coffee, and taking plates away. He is a real asset to your restaurant. I hope management is aware of his talents.
The atmosphere, food, and seating were very good. The waitress was adequate but we had to ask about the bread which finally was served a little late. Also, we had to request water twice. My main complaint, though, is every time we visit this establishment, I always order a classic martini. The menu price of this particular drink is$8.25. Invariably we are charged much more than that. Therefore, the bill has to be re-done. I am getting very tired of this "mistake" happening especially when I make an emphasis to the waitress or waiter on the exact name of the drink and speciffcally point out its price on the menu. This mistake ruins the whole meal,which I may seriously take into consideration of not coming back.
Happy hour is great for the prices and you get alot to choose from. It ends at 7pm and each day they have a special. Happy hour also gives their survival wagon sampler $5 off of normal $15.99. this totally can feed two people as we also got complimentary bread and ordered the steak quesadilla. So much food for two people. You also currently get 5% off if you use your freedom chase card along with 7% when you connect your card to yelp with their check in cash back making your dinner less than $20 total. The food is very greasy and oily.
My second time recently dining at a Black Angus, and both times (the other was La Mirada) they delivered tasty red meat, delicious side dishes and well prepared deserts!! Their coupons really provide great values for a large amount of quality and unpretentious food!
The restaurant was acceptable. I have been there in the past, several times. The food was better previously ; the meat was a small portion and tough. The reservation worked so we did not have to wait, long.
The Lobster was disappointing and very dry; worse, I requested some additional lemon, and the waiter forgot us. He didn't return until the last few bites. When he finally returned he made all kinds of excuses, blaming others. I have had much better service at this restaurant.
Our server Amanda made our visit. She understood we were not in a hurry and provided excellent service at the perfect pace. Nothing worse than getting your meal right after your appetizers which did not happen on this visit. We will be back and will ask for her! Thank you for not rushing us.
TERRIBLE experience. Our waitress was horrible, food came out cold, we sat with dirty dishes on our table for no one came to remove them, when our birthday cake came out the waitress just left it there and didn't invite the rest of staff to sing at our table. The manager did give us 15% off, but I still feel for the amount we spent and the fact we were there for close to 3 hours waiting for our food and terrible service it should have been more. We have gone to this restaurant before and never experienced this. We were so disappointed!!
We specifically chose the restaurant for Prime Rib, and even though our reservation was relatively early (7:30 pm) and the waitress took our order for it, she returned shortly to say they were out of the Prime Rib. The other steaks we ordered as part of the 2 for $58 were very good, but not what we were looking for. The wine list is non-existent, but the cocktails were superb as were the desserts.
My family was in town from Washington and that is my dad's favorite place to eat out, so it's a given that we were heading to your spot in Burbank.
Good was decent but the service for me was the best. I want to say our servers name was Tanya, and it was on Saturday July 23rd and about 5:15pm.
She was very helpful and had a great smile! I would have tipped her $100 if my party wasn't giving me such a hard time.
I will go back there again for sure!
