"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

Groups that came in with no reservation were seated before us. In fact we were seated 20minutes past our reservation time. Then they had one server for what I would expect to be two or even three sections typically. She was running around trying to do her best, but it was an impossible feat. We were there for almost three hours because of wait time on food and trying to pay our bill.

The host confirmed the special occasion for which I had made a reservation, but the server was not informed or did not follow through... My rare steak was overcooked (burnt on top) but at least they replaced it... the server did not inform us about extra charges for certain sides, but at least the manager adjusted the charges after I brought to her attention. Overall, food was good but did not get the festive experience I was hoping for.

Reservation at 6:30pm. Our server took 10 mins after we were seated to ask what we would like to start with on drinks. We advised our server when we got seated at 630pm that we were ready to order our drinks for happy hour and told us that we still had time, about 25 mins and she will be with us in another min. Also my mom ordered beef ribs and they were so burnt and could not chew them. We did tell the server and did bring another order of them. So another wait time on that. Disappointed for our first visit!

We requested and were seated in the station being served by Christy, who has been our server many times in the past. The food and dringk were outstanding, everything was prepared as we ordered and the pacing was just right.

Even though we had a reservation for 7:15pm, we ended up getting to our table at 7:35pm. What’s the purpose of making a reservation if you still to wait 20 minutes. The appetizers were good but our entrees were not good. Baked potatoes were cold and hard and my steak I ordered medium and it was more like well done, and my husband ordered his steak medium well and it was more like medium. Maybe they got our plates mixed up. Also there was a hair in my green beans. For $90 bill we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. We will not be coming back to this restaurant again.

Great Food, but even with a reservation we had to wait 15 minutes as a big busload of people arrived
AFTER we did. Since we had 7:30pm reservations & were there before 7:30....the bus load of people
arrived at 7:40 and they were seated right away. WE should have been seated FIRST as we were there
on time & they took these people first.

I had reservations at 5:45 we got there on time and was seated with in 5 minutes. Our waiter took our drink order's and we received it 20 minutes later. He took our food order and repeated himself saying he couldn't read his own writing. We waited for awhile before asking what happened to our waiter with our food. We were told he was only helping out till our waitress came back from break. I think if we didn't ask we would still be there waiting. Finally it showed up and my wife had ordered filet mignon medium rear it came burnt. My daughter ordered the cheese burger medium well it also came burnt. We visit this Burbank location all the time because we live in Burbank. For a Valentines dinner we were not happy at all. Good thing my wife and I are married for almost 30 years. If I was trying to impress my date I would have been very upset. We were not happy.

My Top Sirloin steak was delicious and mashed potatoes were fine. I also had the premium side, Wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back soon to enjoy another fine meal.

Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The service wasn't the greatest. They mixed up my side orders and never refilled my water, but once I pointed it out, the brought the right dishes. I highly suggest getting on the waitlist early on line. It was busy. All in all it was still a nice experience.

I am glad I made reservations as the restaurant was packed when I arrived.
I was seated within 15 minutes of my time.
I had guests from Finland And Holland and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food was good as always and out waitress was very helpful for my guests.
Will come more often.

We had reservations for 6:15 and tickets to a movie at 8. We knew we had enough time . We sat down and ordered right away. We didn’t get bread even though they offered it. Our food didn’t come out till 7:30 and we never got our soups and salads. We ended up taking everything to go. We got compensated but that was not the point. Will not go back.

I had the prime rib and I found it dry.
We visit family in Cal very winter and always come to the BA and this is the first time I did not enjoy my prime rib

The waitress was inattentive. She forgot to bring a margarita and salad that we ordered. Another employee had to get it for us. She hardly checked on our table. The food took a lot longer than usual to get to our table. Overall it was a disappointing dinning experience.

This was our worst experience in a Black Angus restaurant. We got there at 1pm for our 1:15pm reservation and they still had us waiting for at least 10 minutes after our reservation time. The hostess walks us to the table and has us waiting right next to the table while she’s setting it up. Then it takes the waitress more than 10 minutes to come a greet us and take our order for the drink and the only reason she came to the table was because my husband walked around the restaurant looking for somebody. About 10 minutes after that another person brought the bread and no plates or drinks. When they finally bring the drinks we are missing one of the drinks and instead of bringing 2 kids drinks they bring regular size drinks for the kids. By this time they still haven’t brought plates but they bring the appetizer and that’s when I have to remind them to bring plates. When they finally bring the food, not only did they bring the wrong order for my husband and I but they also don’t bring an order for my friend. When we asked the waitress for his order she says she never put in the order so he had to wait for his food for another 15 minutes. We were there for a couple of hours and the waitress only stopped by the table 3 times. She never asked if we needed refills or if we needed anything at all we had to go looking for her if we needed anything. Besides the service being horrible, the food was horrible most of it was burned. Even though it was a Saturday, it was not busy at all at the time we were there so I don’t understand why the service was horrible. We were there to celebrate a very special birthday and it was ruined by the experience. Apparently having a reservation means nothing to this place. Also cleanliness doesn’t mean much either, right next to our table the floor was dirty. There were crumbs all over the floor. We will NEVER return to this Black Angus again!

We had reservations for a party of 10 (birthday) including a wheelchair. The area we were sat in was tight. The host advised that it was the only choice we had for seating our party so we made it work. We had an additional 2 ppl show up unexpectedly and they had to sit in a nearby booth with high walls so we weren't able to speak to them during our meal. Our server was great although one guest had chicken that was sent back due to being too dry to enjoy. My prime rib was ordered med well but came rare and sent back for a quick refire. Other than those issues, our visit was good. Just not a great location for a larger group unfortunately.

Took 2 hours to get food with no explanation or information from the waiter. When the steak arrived, it looked like a charred meatball. Keep in mind with this restaurant, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and it’s absolutely not worth the wait. Other entree items other than the wedge salad were equally of low quality.

There is value here but it's the only place where my steak came salted or seasoned with a salt based seasoning. I'm perplexed as to why they season their steaks.
They could also be a little more generous with their sided. For example, my broccoli side consisted of two stalks.
Overall it was a good experience.
