The music is soooo loud and the speakers are such bad quality that its distorted and makes it hard to have a conversation. Also, the music should be more appropriate to the type of restaurant.

The food was not served hot enough. The prime rib had too much gristle. They were very slow bringing out the wine. The food still tasted good and, at 2 for 1, was a good value.

To begin, they did not assign a waitress to our table. Then we waited for over 40 minutes for our appetizers. I had to ask for our waitress and when she came to our she said they misplaced our order. She brought only part of our appetizers 10 minutes later and the other half right before she brought our main course. It was one excuse after another. We have been to this restaurant before but this was the worst service we have had. I am having reservations about going back to this Black Angus. We arrived on time for our reservation and were told our server had just arrived a few minutes earlier. George took us to our booth, and we had a pleasant exchange with him along the way. Christy greeted us as we arrived at her station and came to our table a couple minutes later, after finishing dealing with another table. After exchanging pleasantries, we placed our food and drink order. Max then came by and noticed we had no water and promptly returned with two glasses. A couple minutes later, Christy came with two more glasses of water, a loaf of molasses bread, and our wine. The meal was off to a great start. Our appetizers and entrees were nicely timed and prepared as we had ordered them. It was a wonderful evening on a holiday weekend!

I was grateful they let me sit at the table before the rest of my party arrived (they were running 10 minutes behind). I just wished our waitress came by more often, our drinks were empty for awhile.

The food was great , as alway. I took my Husband for his birthday and purchased the $10 package. Food took a little longer than usual. The waitress stated that they didn’t cook it to our liking and that’s the reason for the delay. She then asked my husband if we were in a hurry and you still have free desert….. I don’t know why she even asked him when I’m the one that purchased the package for his birthday. We didn’t receive the cowboy cookie 🍪 and it seemed like she was rushing us. Not sure if it was a misunderstanding but again …. I added the $10 birthday package to the reservation so why ask my husband if we were in a hurry.

The deal was fantastic. Buy one entree get one for free. The meats were cooked very well but the vegetable sides were way under cooked. the atmosphere is not that great as it is pretty dark except for two windows in the whole restaurant, luckily we were able to get one of them. The waitress was very nice though.

Host does not notify the server that there are people in her service area. We waited for more than 10 minutes before the server saw us and was surprised we are sitting in her area. The host did it to us and 2 other group of guests.

If this had been our first time to the Burbank Black Angus, we would never go again. We have been going to this restaurant for many, many years. This is our first visit since the pandemic. The food quality was poor, the music very loud with very few customers in the restauranrt. Our server was very nice, but it took a really long time to get a beer. It arrived after our main course. And, it was ordered first. Maybe because we ordered the BoGo special, we got the cheapest cut of the rib eye and the fillet. We ordered medium rare. We were served medium well. No juice in the steaks and no flavor. Needless to say, we were very disappointed.

I had the summer trio special with ribs and shrimp. I was disappointed that corn on the cob was no longer an option. I wish that option would last through the end of august/summer. Service and food was otherwise great. It was a very good value. I enjoyed the new fried green tomato and ceviche appetizer.

The menu has changed quite a bit. I don't care for the nachos because they weren't crispy. Too soft and greasy, and the cheese they use isn't creamy. When it got cold, it was hard. The Brussels sprouts were really good but could have used a little more seasoning. I'm used to the 12oz Ribeye. You can't get that in the campfire feast for 2. It's 16oz. But I brought it home. Other than that, it was good.

We wanted to eat in the dining room but instead they said they did not have wait staff and they put us in the bar. Actually was not too impressed with the meal - too much (12) pieces of shrimp which did not seem to be freshly prepared. The cocktail sauce was minimal (about 1/3 of the container) which was really weird. The bread was good as always and our waitress was very nice and worked hard as she was the only one working in the bar.
