We had a great server who was happy for us to split the (huge):portions. Tasty steak, salad. With coupons a good value.
The food was quite good but the service was extremely slow and lacking. We never even got drink refills.
Had a 7:30 reservation, did not get seated till I reminded them I was there after a customer with a 7:45 reservation got seated. My salmon was undercooked and slimy, my wife asked for her pork chop to be well done and it came out medium and tuff. We miss our Black Angus in pleasant hill and decided to try this location, would rather of had McDonalds.
Reservations for 6, given a booth that just was not big enough to comfortably be seated. Asked about 3 empty tables and was told they were taken. Upon completion of our dinner we exited as we came in and 2 of the 3 tables were empty our entire time there! Needs some work to better accommodate customers.
The service seems to be slow at the Brentwood Black Angus. This was my second visit to the restaurant for lunch and it takes about 1.5 hours to get out of there.
Another good visit to Black Angus. We went there for lunch before the movie theater.. Lunch was served very quickly and server very accommodating to special requests!
I had my BD dinner here with 5 friends. We were warmly received and seated promptly upon arrival. The hostess was very nice, the waitress very friendly and accommodating. I had the rib eye streak medium and it was great. Quiet environment good for special occasions. Will definitely return!
Waitress didn’t seem to be attentive. I understand she may have been busy, but she basically rushed us during every interaction. In addition, the food was not as good as its been in the past. You can definitely tell that the quality has decreased, yet the prices are exorbitant. My family and I did not get what we paid for. Very disappointed 😔
It was nice. They offered us any table in the bar area was open seating. Right as we were about to take one our reservation was called so we took the reserved table. It was in a quieter back area
Love the food and the ambiance and the service is always so friendly.
Wish the one in Pleasant Hill would reopen so I could go more often!
Father in laws bday, our waitress was amazing and our table was ready within minutes of us walking in, even though we were earlier than our 4:45 reservation
There was something definitely off with our waiter. He never came back to refill waters, got our orders mixed up, forgot to bring us the bread he said he'didn't bring us,whenever I would ask him to do extra things like cut up my Mother's spareribs, he said he wasn't allowed to do that....what? I was busy trying to Crack apart her king crab legs with only a cracker which didn't suffice nor do the job, which is why I asked for his help. When I asked for wet wipes at the end of the meal he brought out a handful of wet down napkins. Said you didn't have any of the packaged wipes...what?in a restaurant that features ribs and fish there are no packaged wet wipes? All in all we had a bad experience and never plan on returning to Brentwood Black Angus!
Food was great...reservations super easy...we sat at 7:15 our exact reservation time. Mind you we had a five year old and a 10 month old dining with us.... our waiter came to us right away asked us if we would like any drinks we ordered cocktails from the bar an apple juice and one iced tea... it took 15 minutes for my daughter to get her juice and even a few minutes longer for us to get our cocktails he said it was due to the new bartender. We then ordered two appetizers which took at least 15 minutes to arrive we then ordered our food...those of us with salads did not arrive for about 20 minutes our food even longer. My five-year-old set for at least a half an hour after ordering her food before finally getting her grilled cheese and French fries which arrived cold . At the end as per our coupon we were able to receive a dessert...my daughter ordered a hot fudge sundae she did not receive it for 20 minutes nor did anyone tell us the cookie dessert would take a half an hour we did not leave until 9:15 that evening! As you can imagine a two-hour dinner with two children under the age of 5 is not easy. It was not unusually busy even though it was a Friday evening at least three tables were seated before during or after we were and were all done with their meals and gone by the time we were able to get up.. it was so slow we had to get our dessert boxed to take them home which he handed my father a piping-hot foil pan of cookie and then asked if we wanted a bag. Our waiter kept blaming the chef for the slow service but after waiting 15 or more minutes for our daughters ice cream... we watch him sweep the floor under our table and the tables of people that had come and gone during the course of our meal. While the food was delicious and the value was exceptional the slow service and lack of consideration over a table with two young children will probably prevent me from returning...
Birthday, got seated within 5 minutes and waitress was awesome. Food was great overall great evening
love the restaurant, the service wasn't great this time but usually is. they took care of our special request, so that was a plus.

Our food was very greasy and my husband was facing the door with the sun shining in his eyes the whole time!
Ordered steak and crab..
Order came without the crab.
Told the waitress. She apologized and said the crab would come shortly. 13 minutes later still no crab. 15 minutes later crab arrives. Crab was old, not fresh and the meat was rubbery. Waitress said she will tell the manager. 10 minutes later manager arrives at our table. Explained the problem. She apologized. Said she would take the crab back and bring us fresh crab.
10 minutes later crab arrives at our table a few crab legs short of what was sent back and just as old and rubbery. Again talked to manager who said it was all the crab they had left.
Well that explains why it was old and rubbery. Probably sitting on ice for a week !
Manager did take $20 off the bill.
Suggest this Steakhouse stick to serving steak and not crab.
Btw - very chintzy on the steak size. Guess it is 6 oz. as advertised before they cook it and after they cook it becomes 4 oz. Sure didn't look like the picture in the menu or the advertisement.
Next time it will be Ruth's Chris Steak House !
They were behind on seating reservations, but not too bad - about 15-20 minutes. Noise level made it hard to have a good conversation. Service once seated was good and food was good, but nothing exceptional. Overall ok experience.
Valentines Day dinner date. We had an 8:15 reservation and we got to the restaurant about 7. Didn’t expect to be seated before then but figured we would arrive early and ask. Host was rude overwhelmed by all the people and instead of just offering to see what they could do to seat us early she was did not attempt accommodate an early arrival and had us wait until reservation. Not the typical experience for customer service at a restaurant. Lesson learn would rather be on time for reservation than arrive early.
Went for Valentines. Great food. Good place to take a date.
My husband and I went for Valentines dinner and we made reservations. We got seated very quickly and got drinks and appetizers quickly. Then we waited, and waited. We watched other tables who were sat after us order, get their food, and finish their food all before we got ours. The waitress kept coming by and saying she was waiting for our food but then the manager came by and told us another waitress had taken our food to her table and that he was personally going to watch out for our food. Within another 10 min he brought our food out and we ate. They compt our dessert for us and were very apologetic. Honestly the waiting actually let the appetizers settle and we were able to eat all/most of our food. The staff was VERY attentive, even with the waiting and the manager and waitress made sure we always had a drink. Very well compromised.
We made advanced reservations for Valentine's dinner. We were punctually seated, the staff was very attentive and our server Sarah was awesome, very friendly and a joy to converse with. Our food was cooked just right, taste great and the value was reasonable.
Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was very busy. However we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation and service was exceptional. Food was great.
We had a bit of a wait at our table but, being that it was Valentine's day it was ok.
Once our drink and food order was taken, it was a matter of minutes and we received our drinks. Shortly there after our dinner arrived. Food was delicious and we had a good time.

Always enjoy Black Angus. This time a little snafu, my brother ordered a baked potato with everything. Potatoes weren't ready, he ate his meal, still no potatoes. Now full, the waiter gave him two potatoes to go with a bit of sour cream and chives on the side. This is not the waiters fault, I felt bad for him. I just don't understand how a steak house can not have many baked potatoes on hand especially during the early evening.
Our waiter was amazing, I think his name was Shawn. He made our dinning experience wonderful!
We've been to this Black Angus many times and we have never been disappointed. The food and the service was at its typical high standard. If you're looking for a delicious steak, this is the place to go!
A nice dinner on a Friday night. We had the Campfire Feast with the wagon wheel sampler, which gave us leftovers. They forgot the teriyaki for the other steak but quickly brought the sauce. Had to splurge and get dessert and the carrot cake did not disappoint.
Our hostess Sara was absolutely outstanding. She has the type of customer service that should be coned and should be the benchmark for what providing an excellent dining experience looks like.
Way to go Sara. Honestly, I will request her every time I come in the future.
The prime rib was excellent and cooked to perfection.
Fantastic food and service as always, and they did not fail to deliver on both.
Service was good although we had to ask for our bread and water other than that everything was good. We will be back

Well my newyork steak was pretty good but my husband steak was trisirloin and he said he only got two good tasty parts the rest was tough and full of fat which I agree. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I actually was taking my husband out on a special date we have been married for twenty two years.
The server Alex was great especially since I have 4 small children, However the me and my Grandma ordered Prime rib well done and they both were so rare when it was served to us 🤢 not the servers fault
Our waitress Courtney was so nice, never had to ask for anything. She was on point.
It was a wonderful experience, it was great to get a reservation online. We got our seat, tables in less than 10 minutes when the restaurant was very crowded. Great feature! Will definitely do it again!
