Both my mother and wife loved the salmon dishes. I enjoyed my shrimp. Having Jessica as our server was a pleasant surprise.
The food was delicious. However, we felt a little rushed by the server.
Our server was great, she was very attentive to refilling our drinks before glasses were empty and she checked on us frequently. What was actually disturbing was that it appeared all staff were to wear masks but the manager (or asst manager maybe) and 2 male servers walked past our table several times during our 90 minute visit with their masks worn below their nose (the manager and one server actually had it below their mouths) and were observed fidgeting with their masks while serving/taking orders. It was uncomfortable to observe this as it would have been more sanitary for them to just not wear the mask at all rather than have to continuously touch it while also handling people's food, drinks, payment, etc. It is very unsanitary and violates food handling safety to touch your face that frequently without washing your hands while serving/handling customers. Either mask or don't mask but if you're going to mask, at least do it right.
We were sat at a table that wasn’t wiped down from the previous guests the water marks from their couples were clearly visible I ended up wiping it down with my own disinfectant wipes, drinks were brought out we asked for straws but never received them, it was really loud in there. My son ordered a kids meal which is said to come with a desert and never got it, the food that we did get was well prepared and tasted great, overall it was good but kind of a downer given that we drove an hour and half to eat here and the above occurred, I really hope you guys reopen the Dublin restaurant.
Could have been because of the occasion ( Father’s Day) un-organizas staff. Food—starters, no plates until asked for them, entrees, one of the entrees did not meet the requested sides, the waitress was informed, she supposedly was to take care of it, but forgot. A waiter came with the ticket before dessert offering, etc. I have always had a good experience at the Black Angus; not so on the last visit.
Still recommend the place, just tu to avoid Brentwood’s location.;(
Waiting... Waiting... People get seated next to us after 10 minutes of waiting... And we wait...
People next to us get drinks..... We're waiting
People next to us get appetizers... We're waiting
People next to us get their food.... Waiter takes our drink order
People next to us are done, ... Yeah we're waiting
once our waiter finally got to us everything was great
The food tasted good but the portions were not adequate for the pricing. My side of broccoli consisted of two florettes with a 1 inch stem. Additionally the food took too long to arrive to the table and the bread was cold and hard upon arrival.
The server was great, however , l won’t be back.
We arrived and promptly left when we learned it was a limited menu.
Honestly I have had been experiences here before . Tonight seemed like a one off . Food came piratically , my steak was almost rare when I ordered medium well (slight pink center not bleeding) so had to send it back which meant my family was all done by the time my steak came back so they just sat and watched me eat alone . Will be back , maybe just not at the last reservation time at 845 before closing so they aren’t in a rush to get people out .
Service was amazing. Desert took a little longer than expected but everything was great.
Food was okay not the greatest. Food was bland and portions were small
Ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out blood rare with mashed potatoes that were barely warm requested some horseradish and got a little tub of just pure sour cream had the house salad with ranch dressing and it was very good
Service was OK had reservations for 215 arrived at 2:10 did not get it till 230 with my elderly father. Would’ve appreciated being seated exactly at 2:15 when the reservations were. Didn’t get water or drink for another 20 minutes after we were seated. It was not that busy so not exactly sure why the service was not excellent.
Staff was friendly and the food was brought out promptly. Just working ourselves back into dining out due to Covid-19. The restaurant and staff appeared to be adhering to all CDC guidelines and protocols so we felt very comfortable eating out for the first time in a year and half.
My only issue was the steak was over cooked. This has happened before. The rib eye steak was very good because it was over cooked. I did not send it back because it took too long to get the meal anyway. The server was very apologetic and tried to care for us as best that he could. My family enjoys Black Angus and hopes it will return back to the quality of food and service it had prior to the pandemic closure.
Potato skins overcooked. Broccoli dry and very hard and cold. sent back still hard. Forgot lobster on two orders. forgot baked potato, one order of lobster tough and chewy. 229.00 for ribeyes and lobster.. horrible food
My filet mignon was charred but it’s ok still tender :-( hard to have it well done I guess anyway the zucchini was crunchy but it’s too thinly sliced, a thicker zucchini would still be crunchy because of the panoorin batter but it’s really good but will probably taste better wt more zucchini to taste.
We arrived a little early and was seated quickly. Online menu was easy to pull up. Our waitress was amazing. She was so nice from start to finish. We weren't rushed while eating. The food was awesome. It was a great overall experience with the family after so long not being able to.
Service was outstanding, the outdoor dining area was quite nice and the prices were excellent. The one issue I have is my filet was overcooked, requested medium rare but it certainly wasn’t.
They are starting up happy hour!!
Great location for late lunch/early dinner. Looking forward to Black Angus resuming lunch hours during the week and happy hour again soon. Love the salads and specials!
Server was great and so was the food. I will come again.
We were seated immediately. The server was very friendly and our food was excellent.
Our waiter James was great. Our reservation was not till 5:30 and when we got there early to have a drink not knowing you could not get a drink u til dinner they were able to get us in around 5:10. That was nice.
Our server was amazing! She was the best! She accommodated us in every way possible and she was fast and pleasant and she made sure everything was perfect and that all our food was perfect.
Our server was great. The food took some time to come out but we understand that everyone is just trying to do their best. Food tasted great, we were excited to be out. Did I mention our server was great? She was amazing. We had her last year before the second shut down and we remembered how friendly and prompt she was.
We made a reservation in the main dining room but ended up in the bar.
Wait staff was being trained but very nice. Manager brought some food to table, great opportunity if we had anything to say. Food was great
Food was good, service was prompt., ambience quiet.
My table was available right at my reservation time. Service is quick and everyone seemed to help out. Our meals were prepared correctly and tasted great. The only thing that I can say that was not great was that everything we ordered came out of the kitchen too quickly. We weren't finished our appetizer when the salad came out. Same when the main courses came out. We felt very rushed. We ended up taking our desert home just so we could eat it at a slower pace.
Great service + locations easy trot from freeway. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Every bite of our meals were savory. Will definitely make the 30 + minute drive to enjoy this location.
Granddaughters favorite place to eat
We visit often
Had to wait even with reservation about 10 minutes
Fine place for a casual meal. We were disappointed that this restaurant has decided not to offer a lunch menu for the rest of this year. We were there at lunchtime and none of us wanted a full on dinner experience. Very limited sandwich menu. We were able to make do by ordering appetizers.
Our server was excellent as was the spacing of diners. I know things have been very difficult for restaurants during Covid so I will try them again after they expand their menu again.
We LOVED our recent Girls lunch out to Black Angus. We will go back again soon. Excellent service and food.
Pros: GREAT service. Our server was outstanding!
Food was good. Some of the steaks weren't cooked as ordered, but tasted good.
Cons: Made a reservation days ahead of time for outside dining for a graduation, but were informed when we arrived that the only outside table they had for 6 people wasn't available. After a discussion, They ended up seating us in a parking lot table by ourselves, instead of the normal outdoor area that the restaurant has. equipped with tv's and a good atmosphere. It was kind of strange to be out there by ourselves with 2 wobbly tables and car exhaust. But still appreciative that they accommodated us.
Not a lot of vegetarian options, actually none. Not even a pasta dish. I was limited to only ordering the side dishes. (I know....it's a Steakhouse).
Love it here!!!
