Carlos our server anticipated well our needs during our dining experience😋😋😍😍👍👍
One of my favorite places to eat. Food is always good campfire feast is the best
We had the coupon for the special that included: steak, prawns and ribs/corn. Food was tasty, but the steak was a little on the chewy side.
The waitress was very attentive though. Good service even on a Saturday.
Bread was re-heated and too hard to eat. This may of been because we ate early ( 5:30pm). Appetizer was shrimp cocktail.....way over cooked! Soup was Potato Soup....outstanding as was my Rib eye! Service Fair at best.
Food continues to get more and more expensive there and my ribeye steak was pretty pathetic. Didn't taste horrible, but very thin and thus not cooked medium rare other than at one end. Not worth the cost.
Very nice server but horrible hostess.
All i can say it was delicious and juicy and flavored just right
We were seated quickly and the waitress did a good job. The food was great as it always is. I would recommend Black Angus, we usually go there for family celebrations!
Mother’s Day evening meal. They were well staffed to handle the crowd. We walked to our table right away. Timing between apps and dinner was good and good hot.
It was too pricey. First time ordering filet mignon at a restaurant and the amount that I paid for a meal, was definitely not worth it. The potatoes were dry. The steak was good. But, not thirty dollar good. Plus, no steak sauce. Oh well.
Waited nearly an hour for our food. 2 steaks were over cooked (dry) and the 3rd was supposed to be med rare and came out raw. The raw plate didn’t get back to the table until the other 2 plates were finished, we were hungry at this point and couldn’t wait Or have new steaks made. I’ve been here MANY times over the years and never have had experienced poor service or food like this. It was a real let down for Mother’s Day dinner. At $30 per plate it is unacceptable!
prime rib came very rare (ordered medium) and without the lobster. sent it back to be cooked more and include lobster. prime rib cut too thin and loaded with fat. service lacked experience. have had sub standard food and service for most holiday visits. recommend to others during normal days - not holidays.
Only comment is my son birthday dinner and just gave us a cake but no singing and notice other customers been sing greeted
We love Black angus the staff is always nice and the food is great. We had a small snafoo with our meal and the manager was quick to rectify it. I had a great Mothers day meal
Table was a little small for five in the booth and all the food and drinks, but otherwise good . One steak a little under cooked. Server good. Wait time with reservation, excellent.
Mothers day weekend very organized. Food and service exceptional. Hostess and servers were friendly.
Waiter & manager were absolutely pleasant & attentive.
Server was great. Pace of food perfect. Didn’t feel like we were being rushed out.
They need to get a cook who actually knows how to test meat for doneness. I ordered a medium prime rib- it was RARE. And, my husband ordered a well done sirloin steak that came out medium rare. Also, the rice was WAY over salted.
The food at this location is always pretty good. However we frequently find the server pushes us from course to course -- rushing our dinner experience. This problem was very evident during this visit where the soup was delivered to the table before we were done with the appetizers and worse -- the main course was delivered just moments after our soup arrived and while we were still finishing up our appetizers. This is NOT acceptable. A good server should keep aware of their tables and pace food delivery accordingly. This is an annoyingly frequent problem at this Black Angus location.
Always great food here. Good service and good ambiance.
Service is slow
As far as recommend the restaurant to a friend that is really up in the air. My wife and I have been to Black Angus in San Jose three times now in the past 6 months. The first time the food was good but the server was terrible. Once she place our meals in front of us she never came back to ask how the food was. I had to ask another waiter for another drink. I spoke the manager online and explained what happened and how we felt. She offered us a free appetizer on our next visit. I told her that I would appreciate it more if the waitress was retrained. The second time we sat for about 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Another bad experience. This last time my wife and I were asked if we wanted seats in the bar area for happy hour. We thought it couldn't be any worse than our previous experience. It turned out to be a great choice. The tables and booths in the bar are the same as the rest of dining room. We were able to sit at a table and our server was perfect. He took our orders right away, came back once our meals were served to see if we were satisfied with the food. He was always checking on us ( in a positive way ). The food was great, the drinks were great and our server couldn't have been better. Next time we go we will ask to be seating at the bar.
Everything was outstanding. I love the all day happy hour on Sundays. I coach a National Junior Basketball team, and our games are always on Sunday. My favorite thing to do post game is to have happy hour at Black Angus-Blossom Hill.
Food was just warm. Waiter forgot our lobster tail with our steaks. My water that I asked for was tap water with no ice in a dirty cup.
We go there about 4 times a year. This visit wasn’t very good. The service was very slow!
Excellent choice for dinner. Good food, quick service. The server was great too.
Everything was great, from when we first walked in until we were finished. The servicer was great and really friendly and was attentive to my wife’s allergies, and did a fantastic job explaining the menu and specials, and was very attentive throughout the dinner. Will go back.
Daughters annual birthday dinner, never disappoints
Great way to spend an Easter Evening ------ A place that we go to frequently, but had never used you service before ------ Since I knew it would be busy on Easter, which it was, it was a pleasure to have a reservation and just walk in at that time and be seated immediately ------ Thank you for a Great Time ------- Jay Campbell
The first server we had was great. The second one who covered for the first one was a little scattered.
Our meal at Black Angus was delicious as usual. However, I was disappointed. All of the ads proclaimed an Easter Feast. It turned out to be just their regular menu. There were no special foods for Easter and there were no special deals. I feel that the advertising was misleading.
Value of dining experience plummeted after their second attempt at providing a 6 ounce center-cut filet mignon. My 8 ounce filet was close to perfect, but my wife's smaller steak was a terrible cut that was full of fat and grisel....twice! She had to refuse it and I was done so they took it off our bill and we got some sushi for her on the way home.
When you walk in it has a stale bar smell. Also the a/c was turned on very high it was cold there. But the food and service were very good. i was impressed wirh the pork chop and tri tip, salads were good.
Today is my birthday. They have birthday desire for me. It’s very delicious . Thank you.
We love this place! The food is generally excellent, and the servers take great care of you. It's one of our favorite go to places when we really want to feast.
Used to love Outback but switched over 3 years ago and I dont regret it. Always have good service, seating is reasonable, and the food is always good. Dont forget to sign up for coupons! Best deals for steak in town.
With the coupons, it was a very reasonable dinner for what you got. My medium rare fillet was cooked perfectly and was very good. My stuffed potato was good but not stuffed with much. Just on the top. Salad was fresh and crisp. Cheesecake was yum but too full to eat - took it home but not as good the next day.
Will definitely return.
Jose provided fantastic service and we had a great meal.
