Server was extremely attentive
Service was great!! We love this place
Walking in sure reminded me of the 80's. The only thing missing is the Dance Floor. All the employees were very nice my entre sucked. Honesty cuts deep. I ordered freezer burned medium shrimp masquerading as Jumbo . The rest was good. It was a birthday dinner overall Fair if it was free.
Online reservation so easy, arrival seated quickly, service great, food tasty and wonderful experience. 👍🏼
Good food, good service! It was a busy night, but we have prompt service. Very enjoyable casual place for dinner.
Some of the food portions were rather small. Sprinkle of rice pilaf and and three small pieces of broccoli. Shrimp and salmon portion were a good size. Service was excellent.
Made dinner reservations to celebrate a birthday.
Wheel sampler and entrees looked and tasted great.
I ordered grilled prawns and they were delicious!
Service was slow. We needed drink refills and waitress was unavailable for a while.
Overall dinner was nice!
Sons baseball doubleheader
When we got there, the restaurant was busy, and the service was slow, but after it got less crowded, the service became better. The food was decent, but I think the portion of the appetizers has gotten smaller. The overall value is good; we will be back again.
We had a "special meal for 2" at $50.00 - had shrimp cocktail, 2 salads, asparagus, au gratin potatoes, prime rib each and dessert. However after drinks, etc. total bill was $142.00, but it was worth it, got plenty of food.
We find ourselves eating out more now than we did before. Our favorite restaurant is Black Angus because we can count on great food and service
Seated right away. Waitress was friendly and professional
We used to frequent Black Angus many years ago. Nothing has changed - still kind of a outdated, western theme. The seat fabric is still the same. The food was mediocre and we'll never be back. Our waiter was top - notch and hope he can find a better place to be working. Don't want to trash it because of so many fond memories. Looks like many people were enjoying it, which is wonderful. I'm just kind of done with it and wish them well.
The Service & Food excellent we were celebrating two Wedding Anniversary we enjoyed our self.
Thank you Theresa Sanchez
Will be back chafe patronized this restaurant a lot
It was great. Great food, looked busy but not over crowded once inside. Our waitress was really amazing. Food came in timely manner. Highly recommend.
My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, just how I wanted it. Great service. Our waitress went above and beyond.
Good food and service! Great Happy Hour menu food and drinks.
Happy hour 3:00 PM -6:00 PM. Half price bottles of wine 🍷 on Wednesdays.
Tally the server is awesome and Jennifer the manage always comes by to check of how our meal is going.
I love the highback walls between booths which give us a sense of privacy and protects us from overhearing the conversation at other tables.
The menu is great and of course we love the lolassesbread!
Busy night, but service and food were both very good. Dishes came out hot and fresh. Jorge was working hard but was friendly and efficient.
Good food, as always. If something isn’t perfect they quickly make it right.
Good service nice food. Waiting time maybe a little bit long due to the popularity
I had the huge prime rib dinner, medium rare. So tender and done just right. Hubby had the steak and lobster tails. It was my birthday so I even got a dessert cookie with ice cream dessert. The service was awesome.
I think the Black Angus is having employee problems, in that they can't seem to hire the employees that they need, which seems to be an overall problem in this area.
The reason I'm saying this, is because we had to wait and wait and wait for our food to come out, including our drinks. So I would say they are having a hard time hiring "good" bartenders and "very good chefs"...
I hope its just a temprorary situation.
Eden provides outstanding service. We always request his tables. Service is prompt and courteous. He always remembers us as customers.
It was a wonderful dining experience. Everything was cooked just perfect and the service is superb.
The food and service was great! My server was friendly and my drink was never empty. He checked on us several times and it was busy! My food was hot and yummy. We will be back!
The cook was Jaime was working again and if we had known we would have left immediately. This is my final time coming to this location after 5 visits. We hoped it was a fluke when we experienced the terrible food last time but this experience was worse. The potato skins were drenched in oil. The sampler platter was one of the most disgusting appetizers ever made. This cook must hate Black Angus to create this type of culinary catastrophe, most people say good food is made with love, so I assume that in this experience this must be latter.
I chose Black Angus for our first anniversary. Overall, everything is fine. We both love the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Nothing is really special to describe. Anyway, we have had a good moment there.
Perfect dinner. Server was most accommodating. Salmon was delicious! My husband enjoyed the lobster and steak. The artichoke and spinach appetizer will definitely be ordered again.
overall the experience was great because it was my anniversary with my wife of 11 years. My server was very nice and upbeat and tentative. But when we first got there the hostess she just seemed to have preconcealed notion shall I say than she made a correction of herself making the statement of Flemings and then she goes well Fleming so I'm not sure and she just kept side eyeing my wife THE whole time. which made the whole experience a little uncomfortable for what we were there for. I WISH THEY HADN'T CLOSED THE ONE IN MILPITAS!
Favorite restuarant to eat at. Great food. Great services.
Food was average, the server kept taking our drinks and food items to another table. The prime rib appeared to be less than the advertised weight. The au gratin potatoes were delicious.
The service was excellent. For the most part the food was good. The prawns were overcooked and dry, the steak was medium as requested and the ribs were great.
Seated to close together during covid. Mask policy not enforced. Service was lacking.
That experience .....majority of the food was very good. Did the campfire feast for2. Wagon wheel sampler was excellent. Table busing was great and quick. Wait person did make a couple of mistakes. Ask for water with lemon no lemon he asked if I wanted cracked pepper on my salad I said yes and then he disappeared. My husband‘s fillet was huge and delicious my prime rib was barely an eighth of an inch thick which was disappointing and the au jus tasted like water down beef broth. Cheesecake was yummy. Mentioned celebrating our anniversary but nothing was done to celebrate that by them. I even mentioned it when we checked in. Great experience though all around.
My last experience was far better when it came to the quality of the food. This could be because it was a weekend. The cook was Jaime and the ribs came out dry and tough. The chicken was half the portion size as it had been only a week prior. The ribs had to be remade and there was teriyaki sauce on the side instead of BBQ. I paid over $100 for two people and this was what I received, much more disappointed than my last experience.
I think the quality of the food has gone down in the past 3-4 years. Customer service is hit or miss. I don’t think I’ll be going back.
