regular customer here; food was only fair this visit. ribs seemed cold (barely warm not hot) and rather chewy instead of usual "pull off the bone", sirloin steak was a bit "grizzly".
our waitress really took care of us. food was great. grand kids loved the slider burgers.
This is a very nice resturant. The help is great the dishes are good. My problem with steak houses is the vegetables other than potato, are horrible. They can make a great steak, why can’t they round out a meal with vegetables you can eat. I know one person who eats their broccoli raw. Green beans the same. It’s the reason why We only go to steak houses for very special occasions never because it’s just a good resturant. They do meat real good, but that’s it.
We arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation. Two families of 4 were called up to be seated before us and they arrived AFTER we did. We are a family of 5 and we waited due to our table needing bussing.
Server took our order on Father's Day. We ordered a Filet Mignon, 8 oz size, potato soup, loaded baked potato, and two kids meals. Food was warm but not hot when it arrived. Food also did not come together, more of a trickle of food... The server wasn't sure if we wanted the 6 or 8 oz filet mignon so she wrote 6 oz which I SHARED with my husband. The manager tried to compensate by including a free dessert, but I felt like the dinner had been ruined.
We wanted the Father's Day Special Steak and Lobster and was informed that it sold out Sunday at 5pm. The beginning of dinner service. It was a Father's Day Special. It should have been specified by the waiter but nothing was stated.
Our Favorite when in bay area. Previously used Sunnyvale was closer. But have eaten there for years and occasionally use for family special dinners. very dependble quality and service.
Our waiter and replacement waitress were excellent; however the young lady who seated us was lackluster ... maybe she was having a bad day
Toward the end of our meal, a lady came to join her party with a dog that was clearly NOT a service animal. If your policy is to now allow dogs just because people want to bring them, we will no longer dine with you. I've seen dogs seated in the booth, not on the floor. Who wants to sit on a seat after a dog?
We always love eating here. The food & service is great.
We had a fabulous 10-Stars Fathers’ Day dinner. Our server Chelsea was excellent in all aspects. She was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, warm and friendly. The courses of our meals were perfectly timed - everything from our drinks - appetizers - dinner entrees - desserts. Salads were fresh and tasty. Our steaks were nicely marinated but I do recall our steaks being more tender at our previous visit. I also liked the fact that our she checked in with us immediately in regards to the doneness of our steaks/prime rib once they arrived at our our table, hence she was being efficient in case they needed to be recooked. As the evening progressed and the restaurant was getting busier, Chelsea was still able to multitask and provide top-notch service at our table. We appreciate her excellent service and the delicious meal we had that we plan on coming back again soon.
Our server was excellent. The food was good don't understand why filet mignon has any fat but they always do now. They didn't used to
We were seated quickly. The new drinks with sparkling water are awesome- try the pineapple one! Also the new poppy seed cake is very good. Live the new additions.
The Black Angus Steakhouse - Blossom Hill is our go-to for special occasions. We come hungry and leave (very) full. The bill (with tip) averages $30 per-person and we feel like the value VS cost is about right.
Our waitress was very awesome. We ate in the bar area last night. Food was great . Service was great .will come back.
Every thing was very nice
Normally I enjoy my dinner at this restaurant but this time it was far below par and very disappointing. I did talk to the manager about this experience to make him aware
We enjoy a restaurant where we can hear each other and not be blasted by loud music. We wanted a quiet cool place with good food and service which wad exactly what we had. Enjoyed the time to unwind and relax. Our waiter was very attentive. We will go back again soon.
Easy to make and change reservation. Food was good.
As usual, the food is quite reasonable. The staff is competent and friendly. Compared to previous visits, it seems the portions have shrunk. Nevertheless, we ordered more than enough to take home a considerable amount of food. We got the campfire feast, upgrading the appetizer. The potato was much smaller but still quite tasty. My wife loves the ribs. My meal included steak, chicken and a half-rack. I ended up saving most of the chicken and ribs for the next day. The mud pie also seems smaller. That's good since all that sugar is bad for your health.
The camp fire feast is a good value. It's best to make a reservation and get there early. This place gets busy and it's hard for the servers to stay on top of things when it's busy. The steaks were very good and the choices for sides were excellent. We were a little disappointed that the loaded potato was skimpy on the toppings, but it was still very tasty. The desserts were excellent and we appreciate that one dessert was comp'd because it was our wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back!
Great customer service and great food. Out go-to place for a nice meal.
We had a reservation were seated very quickly. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it arrived very well done. His steak was tough and impossible to cut. Unfortunately, since we were with a group of friends he wasn't comfortable complaining about the steak. The rest of us were satisfied with the food. We appreciate the restaurant providing coupons and allowing there use for the entire party.
Good visit with easy conversation with my sister
Everything was very good. Our server was fantastic!
The reason that the noise level was a bit high is that we were sitting in the bar so we could watch the Warriors-Raptors game during dinnr.
Ribs and top sirloin were tender and tasty. Side salad was excellent, but broccoli was overcooked. Will definitely come here again. Too bad the Sunnyvale location closed.
Steak and service was very good. Great improvement from years in past where food was not very good. Looks like i'm back.
Everything was excellent! Great service, great ambiance, delicious food.
Awful house salad. Weeds and grass replaced the lettuce. Pork chops dry and tough. Green beans not eatable.
My wife and I each ordered an 8-ounce prime rib. Mine was fine but my wife was brought what looked like a 4 or 5 ounce cut. Waitress had to ask supervisor if we could get a replacement. We did, but it had to be sent back because it was undercooked. Eventually they got it right and food was good. Not a typical experience there. We will go back.
Our meal was just OK. We ordered a bottle of wine, tri-tip and strip steaks, and two kids meals. It took awhile for our food to arrive. There was a couple seated after us who got their multi-course meals way before we did, and we only ordered entrees. The server was nice enough, but she brought us dirty wine glasses and cold food. We had to ask for new glasses before she poured the wine, which she did. Plus, she brought some new veggies to replace the cold ones, but they looked and tasted limp after being reheated. We didn't bother to complain a second time. It was a pricey meal for just a so-so experience, but our expectations may be a bit higher than the typical diner here. We would go back if we were with someone else who really wanted to go, but otherwise, we'll go elsewhere next time.
I have been here many times and usually love it. This time I was told that onion rings are no longer sold!! I think this will be a huge downfall. I heard they took them away because people were comparing to not get enough? Not very fair to anyone to have to order a burger to get the one side that I wanted. To top it off. My salmon was completely raw! Never had this happen before until now. Disappointed with my last visit. Hopefully next one will be better and have onion rings.
My brother Danny loves steak! He chose Black Angus to celebrate his 48th Birthday!
Danny was born with Down Syndrome. The staff at Black Angus treated him with respect!
They brought him dessert & sang him HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Last year we chose another Steak Restaurant. I made a reservation & placed in the notes we would be celebrating Danny's Birthday. Well, service was terrible! No drink refills. They did not clear the table!
The restaurant was empty!
We sat for quite a while waiting for the staff to bring him his BIRTHDAY treat! NOTHING! We finally asked for the bill. We were told, the computer kiosk at your table is where you pay the bill??
No one bothered to tell us!
When we left, my brother asked, Why didn't you sing Happy Birthday to me?
I was gut-wrenched! We took him to Whole Foods & bought him a Birthday cake!
Thank you Black Angus on Blossom Hill for treating my brother with respect & understanding!
Our Server, Edith was outstanding!
I ordered the 18 oz ribeye and it was completely unseasoned. The baked potato was small and mediocre. The appetizer of friend zucchini was good but greasy. The deserts were mediocre. My wife ordered the lamb chops and they were excellent. Over priced dinner but mostly just meh.
They are a good steak house and always very crowded. There are always coupons one can use to pay less for
dinner for two, etc. but it looks like they raised their prices so they are not cheap. Also, we are never overwhelmed by noise and go there pretty often. Lots of families go there.
This was for a birthday dinner and we altered the server. She brought out a dessert that took a very long time to get. Once I finally received my bill, I was charged for the dessert. Our server was overwhelmed and she was very slow on the service. She was nice and friendly it just took forever for each request we had. I ended up paying for my dessert because I didn't want to wait another 30 min to get her to correct it
Our server, Kamille, was the first of over our 10 visits to inform us about the discount (coupon) offer to the Dining for two package from $65 to only $47. Overall, she had a touch more professionalism and friendlier than any other servers we've had.
One in our group wanted another drink after the meal and the waitress never came back by
Always an outstanding meal, cooked to perfection, great dessert, and the service was fantastic. Food timed perfectly, not rushed, and no waiting. Can't wait to go back.
Carlos our server anticipated well our needs during our dining experience😋😋😍😍👍👍
