Excellent food, excellent service. Our place for special occasions.
We had reservations for Father’s Day. I was embarrassed I brought my husband and father here First, they crammed six of us into a booth. We barely had elbow room and there was not nearly enough room on the table for all the plates. Then they were inefficient at clearing the table between courses which led to the awkward shuffle of plates when they came to bring us our dinner. Things on the menu were not available. They only had a limited menu for Father’s Day. And the food they brought was average to poor quality. Suffice it to say that was the last time I will eat at Black Angus.
Fathers Day and the had a nice Prime Rib and Lobster special. Service was a bit slow, but our waitress, Lisa, was very busy, yet she was taking good care of us. It was a fun afternoon, and the price was quite reasonable. Thank you Black Angus
Good food, prompt service
Had made reservations for Father's Day, and we were immediately seated in a booth as requested, in a quiet area. We were greeted promptly by our server Lisa M, and she was awesome. Got our drink and appetizer order in quickly, and we enjoyed our drinks before ordering. There were 3 of us, and the steaks & prime rib were excellent, along with salads and baked potatoes. We had a wonderful afternoon, and can't thank Lisa enough. Along with the great food, we so enjoyed conversing with Lisa. I would recommend this location and as for Lisa's service area. We will be back and do the same.
Everything was fine except menu was too limited for Father's Day. Father's Day menu didn't offer any food for children.
It was great!
We were so very disappointed. We love Black Angus but this one has really gone down hill. The food was the most disappointing. I honestly can't believe they served us the steaks they did. Their prices have really increased at the food has really decreased. The service wasn't good either. They kept binging more food with our removing the plates and it was a awkward mess. I really wish they would fix these issues and go back to the wonderful Black Angus we have loved for years.
The ribeye and lobster is fantastic! Candy was a great server. The kids chicken strips with cocktail sauce are always a favorite! Dirty martinis... ah many dirty martinis... Just waiting for all day Sunday Happy Hour to come back.
We went for Father's day and it was amazing. The food was perfect, the service was great! All in all it was probably the best service that I have received post pandemic!
My experience was okay. The food was delicious. Except the bread. The bread was dry. Something about the environment made me a little uneasy. From the time I walked in the door. The Hostesses did not smile & were withdrawn. And the waitress Cameron was too but eventually got a little better towards the end. I still left her a $ 30 tip. Nevertheless my Son & I had a good time. It was my first time @ that location but unfortunately I will choose another location. Next time.
The service was very good and so was the food. It was a fun time.
Maria is an excellent server. Decor is a bit 1960's
Wonderful experience dining for a family birthday, service was exceptional
Our server was great. Prime rib excellent, very tender. Martinis perfect! Love the high-backed booths, too.
Black Angus has the best steaks in town. The Feast is a great value!
All of the servers are very friendly and
keep checking back to assist us.
The sales come cooled and very fresh.
I love the menu as it has plenty of options in beef as well as offering
chicken and seafood.
Our experience was less than desirable. We wanted to relax and have our bread and butter whole
We had our drinks abs them orders he would not bring the bread until
We ordered. My filet was not eatable. They did bring us a nee one but my husband was finished with his meal by the time it arrived
Eating at Black Angus has always been a god experience. Missed it over the past year. Ambience is good and we have never had a bad meal. Staff is always very friendly.
We had the artichoke appetizer, 2 of us shrimp dinners and one the sirloin dinner. The food was excellent. Would go back except the service was so bad. The attitude was good, but the server was rarely there. After our initial tea and water service, we did not receive a refill on water for over an hour, despite asking 3 different people, for more water or tea. Unacceptable service. We won't be back, despite the tasty food.
The food was very good for which I am grateful since we were there for
a birthday celebration. However, other aspects were distressing. There
was no hostess when we came in and we waited quite awhile with no attention.
Then we were seated with no explanation of the menu change from regular
menu to little white piece of paper they put on the table which may have been
a digital connection to menu. When we asked for menu after another long
wait the paper menus which they brought could only be read by one at our
table because the print was small. The service was slow and inattentive while
many staff just stood around. We saw a customer fall and helped while staff
looked on. This is not the Black Angus of pre-Covid days. I won't be back
We really enjoyed the special on the shrimp side offer for $1.00 very much we would like to see this offer come out more often
Great food. Everything came out all at once, pace could be better. Please re-open the Metrocenter location. 13 miles is a little far to drive. Sorry! The reason I went is because of a great coupon, but otherwise, I probably wouldn't drive this far.
As always the servers, bussers and hostess were all great. My steak seemed like it wasn’t as good quality as they once were. Still was cooked to my request and had good flavor.
Jen was our server she was amazing .... when we walked in we were greeted right away by very friendly staffed and seated in less then two mins ... best experience we have had in a restaurant in a long time ... black angus you deserve five stars and we will be back again .
The food was amazing .. steak and lobster cooked to perfection. Presentation of the food very nice as well . Shrimp that came with the shrimp cocktail very good size ..
Great dinner and Jenn was a great waitress
my steak was awesome, but was a little disappointed in my husband's steak, as he ordered a ribeye, which was an additional 4.00, which was fine, but the steak was very thin, and flat and did not look anything like a ribeye. everything else was excellent.
Reservation process was convenient. Food was good. Service was good. We will come back.
MUCH better than our last experience here. Lisa our server was on the spot - kept water full, was helpful with everything, attentive but not bothersome, and just a really great server!! We will ask for her again - and the meal was spot on - so happy to have them back to par!
The food was very good and hot when we received it. The service could have been better. The restaurant was not that busy. However, just to reiterate, we could ot see the dining area as we were placed in the Bar. The manager was great. He could tell that we had not been waited on for a very long time and gave us a wonderful appetizer for our inconvenience.
we received very slow service at bar food was cold and the server seemed to busy to get us a few more rounds this place wont stay in business like that but usually food and service is very good?
Mask up. I would not have gone to this place had I known they were requiring masks. The food was mediocre.
Food was great. Service was nice. We were full and happy
I wish I didn't go here. I'm pretty sure we had the worst server in the history of servers. The food was mediocre. Our waiter would disappear for long periods of time. He screwed up our incredibly simple drink order. There was only 3 of us. We got a club soda with a lime, a water with lemon, and a regular iced tea. He brought out 2 raspberry iced teas, no water, and a club soda in a regular soda glass that was filled up about 2/3s of the way and lacking carbonation. He also forgot the limes and lemon. He would eventually bring out the correct drinks but it took him several trips to bring the limes and lemons. The first 20 minutes of being there, I thought our waiter was just overwhelmed with how many tables he had to cover and I genuinely felt bad for him. But as this horrendous experience went on, tables emptied and he still was terrible at this. I'm ok with getting an order wrong. That's a simple mistake that can be fixed quickly. Him disappearing for long periods of time is not ok. We also shouldn't have to ask multiple times for a lime or a lemon. We shouldn't have to wait an absurd amount of time to get the check or wait an absurd amount of time for the waiter to cash us out. As for the food, it's Black Angus. You don't get what you pay for. As I told my parents prior to coming here, the service is bad and the cooks don't know how to cook. I ordered a filet medium because I knew they would undercook it. I always get my steaks medium rare. But at Black Angus, I have to order it the next temperature up so it comes out correctly. My parents made the mistake of ordering it how they like it, which is also medium rare. Theirs came out rare and the center of my mom's filet came out ultra rare. My dad and I also ordered asparagus and it was pathetic. You pay the extra $2 for only 4 stems. The tips were literally burnt. Couldn't eat it. We didn't say anything because that would involve our waiter, who kept disappearing. This place has made it to my permanent avoid list.
We were not in a hurray. Ordered an appetizer which was fine. Salads came out after appetizer but son-in-laws soup was late. Entrees came out almost immediately after salads. Soup came out after entrees. Just felt rushed. Also, didn’t like booth for 4 adults and 2 children. Just felt like we were rushed.
The restaurant was very understaffed. After we were seated, was 10 minutes before waitress came to our table. We asked for water, it never came , so my husband went to the bar and asked for water, waitress was nowhere to be found. The bartender was very rude to my husband and the manager came with the water to the table. This is now 30 minutes after seated. The food was good, and ended up to be a good evening, we were able to enjoy our family and dinner.
Excellent food and service
Waited a over a year to come back
The food and the waitstaff were fabulous. This Black Angus really showed the quality of the management.
Service was OK, however I ordered a Wedge Salad and received a regular dinner salad. Waitress was going to return it to the kitchen , but I went ahead and ate it.
Price seems high compared to portions. Just my opinion.
Pleasantly surprised. Dinner special was a great value. Don’t normally frequent chain style restaurants but will go back.
