Wonderful service and food was very good. Had the lobster and prime rib. Server was amazing.
We go to this restaurant regularly. This visit was less than ideal. Our server was continually distracted and came back to question our order, since he couldn't read his own notes. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were small and mangled. My NY strip had too much gristle and overall this was a disappointing experience.
Steak was a little tough, but still full of flavor,cooked just right.Service was wonderful.
We were very happy with the service, wait staff, and the food was excellent.
Good food and great service. Good wine choices and a variety of options.

Black Angus is our go-to restaurant for a good hot meal, tasty and fresh. They take good care of us whether we are a party of 8 or just two of us. Your glass is never empty. Reservations are recommended but not required. Try the Sampler Platter for an appetizer, follow with a steak cooked just right, fresh, hot sides, cold salad served with a cold fork! Desserts are marvelous!
The Arrowhead store has never let us down except Thanksgiving 2017.
That meal was terrible for the 6 of us, three different kinds of entrees.
Every other time, 10-12 visits, it has been excellent.

This was our first visit and can see us going back in the future.
We have been several times- mostly for special occasions, and have enjoyed it very much. We usually get the “Campfire Feast”, which is a very good value. The salmon is very good. This time we brought our friends who were visiting from out of state. Our friend initially wanted to try the “tri tip”, but was talked out of it by the waitress because of the potential of being tough. Three of our party ended up ordering the fillet. The two who ordered it “medium” were very happy. The friend who had been talked out of the other cut ordered it medium rare. It was awful. The waitress took it off the bill, and the manager came by to apologize and both offered an alternative meal. Unfortunately, we were taking them to the airport right after dinner, so that wasn’t possible. Nor could they accept an offered additional dessert to bring with them. Both the waitress and manager tried their best to “make it right”, which we all appreciated. It won’t stop us from dining there again, but we may be hesitant to bring friends again.
Our server Haley, was outstanding. She was attentive, but not obtrusive , and we had a great dining experience because of her.
Our food was very good and served in a timely manner.
Wait time was a little longer than expected as they were not that busy. It was a little annoying that we got sat right by the check in desk even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. Server was great but the length in the time the food came out was not great.

Although we had a reservation we were seated 25 minutes late. I had the prime rib and it was very tough. The other food was OK.

A step above Outback Steakhouse. Or maybe a step below. Steaks were not that special. I let the restaurant know in advance of my father-in-law’s 87th birthday. It was never acknowledged. We can get a better meal elsewhere.
Our waiter made our lunch Girls Birthday Get Together the best in years. My daughter, sister and I always make a habit of going to Black Angus for each of our Birthdays. (we do go other times also it is just a Birthday thing we started years ago)
We always have a very nice meal and good company friendly atmosphere. This time specifically the wait staff was exceptional. His name is James he works the weekend lunch shift. He makes you feel as if you are the most important person in the room. You can tell when you pay attention he makes all quests feel very welcome and well served. This is not the Black Angus we normally visit there is another closer but in the future, this will be the location we go to. The food is great, the prices are more than reasonable. Seating is comfortable and private, wait staff is exceptional.
Quality, tender steaks cooked to your satisfaction, shrimp were real jumbo, fast and friendly service. The price was reasonable.

I thought the overall experience was ok, but not great. I wouldn't even call it good. It was just simply too expensive for what you get. The small filet was $26! That's just too much for a restaurant of this caliber. I went to another steakhouse in Scottsdale the previous week and the meal was 10x better and the bill was just about the same. I believe that most people use coupons for this location. If you did that, it would be ok, but if you are on your own you should expect to pay through the nose.

Everything was very good especially considering the crowd for Valentines Day. The service was not lacking and the food was very good.
We are always treated so well when we are there. We go quite often and every time we go we are made to feel special. It was Valentines Day and it was quite busy. Our waitress was so friendly. Met us with a great smile. You would never know she was running around trying to keep up yhecisce. She was amazing. We never had to wait for anything.
I have a burning question to ask re time reserved and time of check in.There were a lot of us having 6:15 pm reservation.I took note of our check in time as well as people I knew had the same reservation time checking in after we checked in.Guess what
somebody was called that checked in after us with same reservation of 6:15 pm.I was not a happy camper.So what is the protocol re this matter?Just curious so I know what to expect in the future.
As usual the service and food were great. I was Valentin's Day and we had requested James as our waiter but they were not able to comply. They were so busy, but our waiter was attentive and the food was wonderful.
The bar was a stand up type with very poor environment. To wait for a table in the bar is not a good option. Only 6 chairs and they were taken up with people eating dinner????
The food was fair and the price was a little high, and not an acknowledgment of our anniversary
We used to go to black Angus several years ago and it was a treat, but this was not a treat or was it special. We only go out about 4 times a year and we want it to be special.

Per web-site and sign on wall "Happy Hour all day Tuesday". Not so! We were charged full price for our drinks. When we questioned the Happy Hour price we were told that was in the bar only--this was not stated on the web-site or wall sign. If we had asked for Happy Hour price
the waitress indicated we would have gotten it, however, she didn't adjust our check. Food and service was great.
Very good service, courteous and friendly. Food was excellent, cooked to our taste.
Greeted warmly and seated. Waitress introduced herself and came back shortly. Ordered a glass of wine and then told Happy Hour is only in the bar. Brought out our salads and after we had finished I told the waitress to cancel the wine and she said it was sitting on the bar. She then brought it over. The Prime Rib my wife ordered "Medium" was too rare and then she brought another cut which was satisfactory although it was difficult to get the horseradish which was to accompany it. New York Steak which was ordered Medium was very well done. To be fair I was not charged for the wine. The bottom line is the waitress had too many tables, and was inexperienced.

Very disappointing, salmon was over cooked and so were the 3 steaks for our table.
I had great hopes that I would finally get a decent steak, like the 1970's Stewart Anderson's Black Angus, but no! Drinks were small and over priced, my top sirloin was really awful. 50 year old milk cow! My wife's filet was not top quality either. Baked potato was good and so was salad. Won't be back. It's the same everywhere now --- for the past 15 years or more. We don't dine out much anymore. This was a last ditch attempt at finding a decent steak house. Terrible steaks and puny overpriced drinks. We used to dine out weekly, but those days are now over for good.

Excellent as always - we frequent this location about 5 times a year. Never a disappointment, the food, service and entire dining experience is wonderful. A great value point as well.
