Service was really good waitress very attentive the only problem i had was that i felt my Ribeye wasn’t well done as I requested and for that I didn’t finish it just ate less then half of the stake.
Black Angus is one of my favorite places to eat but today i felt I didn’t get my money worth of.. but again probably was only today but over all my wife and kids enjoy the meal…
We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food and when it did come out, it was only at room temperature - not even warm. The main dish salad had the wrong dressing on it. The ribeye Steak was cooked rare rather than medium rare and was at room temperature. The prime rib was cooked right, it was just room temperature also. Both cuts of meat had good flavor. It would have been a good meal had it at least been warm. It would have been an excellent meal had it been served hot.
We had a reservation, got a table within a few minutes. At the table for more than 20 minutes the assigned server did not show up, however, he walked by to other tables next to us, which have been seated more than 15 minutes after us. We decided to leave and did not dine in.
The steak was dry although cooked medium rare as requested.
The service was slow due to short staffing however the waitress was good.

Not happy with service - Hector, our server, was slow to respond to our
Requests. Also, he put a hand wipe back on the table after he picked it up from floor. Quite disgusting. Seemed annoyed when I bought it to his attention.
The food was great and the waitress did a fabulous job. She made us feel like we belonged there.
Everything was good just seemed a little hurried so we took our dessert to go
Black Angus is one of my favorite go to places for a good steak. Their dinner for two is a great deal!

This is an overall good steakhouse that won't break the bank. They have the standard cuts of steaks you'd expect to find at a chain steakhouse and plenty of choices of sides and appetizers. Service is attentive and friendly and chances are that you'll have an enjoyable evening.
The steak filet (rare) was served cool temperature, would have been nice to be warm instead. Everything else was very nice, service excellent.
This is the only steak house we go to. We had showed the 30% discount from my phone,... but did not receive it because we didn't have some code they wanted. First of all, if I showed it to them, they should have known it was from my e-mail. Other than that,... everything was good. :)
I went there for Prime Rib. The bartender didnt know and she put my order in and then told me later that they were out. I got the Filet (med rare) It was rare, but I ate it anyway because the bartender was busy.
It was Labor Day Holiday, they seemed to be short of people. No bus people. Waitress did the best she could.

Entrees took a little longer than usual this visit.
Server very nice, manager very nice, ribeye steak... terrible. It was cut to the thickness of a 1/4” looked like a steakum...It was the reason we got to meet the very nice manager. Really, it was some kind of cheap cut flank steak or they cut it such that they ruined any joy in eating a real steak. Tasteless and terrible.
Other than that it was great, really! But you go to a steakhouse for a good steak, and if they mess that up then there’s really no reason to go at all...it’s kinda the most important element, ya think.
We had the black and blue filet that melted in your mouth! Cooked to perfection with portobella mushrooms sauteed in a blue cheese butter - Yum!
We have dined here a number of times over the last 10 years but this visit left me disappointed at the overall value and the quality of the prime rib. Perhaps it was just a one off food experience but the pricing seemed exorbitant for what we received and the ambiance of the restaurant. It's time for a face lift and time to kick it up a notch if you're going to charge these rates.

Food is almost always on point here. Initial bread was a little overdone but nothing too bad. There were five of us and the restaurant hardly had anyone in it when we first arrived yet our waitress was never anywhere to be found. Drinks weren't replenished and things didn't come out as ordered or were forgotten. They had portable AC unit and weird modifications to the ducting in one section for some reason. Salads came out with forks on top of them which is odd and seems unsanitary
Everything was wonderful, except their air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly. As we live in a desert, and it was 103 out at 7:00 at night, walking into the restaurant we were both already a little warm and therefore the restaurant was not cool enough for us to quickly cool down and enjoy the environment before receiving our appetizers. Wonderful service and food. Prime rib was perfectly cooked.
Our waitress was great and food was the best. We both had steaks and they were very good!
There was minimal weight time for a table. Server brought beverages immediately. Food was prepared to order. Our friend asked for one side item to be packaged to take home and the server did it.
We frequented the Black Angus restaurant the had been located at 20th St. and Camelback in Phoenix. We were severely disappointed when that building was razed for redevelopment. I was glad to experience the Black Angus service once again.
Other than being the youngest people in there at 52, it was very warm like the AC wasn’t working. Our waitress was great and the food was good as well.

The food we ordered was quite good. My sirloin was as I had ordered. It was juicy and tasty. My wife liked her shrimp and filet. Our salads were a good size with fresh ingredients. Service was quite good, too. The only negative is that the prices have increased a great deal since the last time we visited.
The server Hailey was very attentive and made our dinner enjoyable. The food is still good but the restaurant is showing its age. I have been going to Black Angus for close to 40 years, I hope you can weather this tough time and come back stronger.

Maria our server was outstanding. She was right on top of our drink refills, our special requests and was very friendly and accommodating. The food was ok. The steaks were a little on the fatty side and the shrimp were a little tough. I love the new tomato, mozzarella, basil salad that was added to the menu. It was delicious. Of course we loved the cowboy cookie. It’s always perfect and delicious. Bus people were right on top of taking empty plates and glasses from the table.
Great Food and our waitress was excellent from the time we got there til we left. Her name is Lisa but we have had others there and they are all Great, seems like most have been there for some time. They have a Great crew!
