We had a great visit. Our Waiter (James) was great, he paced our lunch just right understanding that we were old friends catching up. I thank the Restaurant for their patience, we were there over 3 hours and felt no pressure to leave. Bravo
Always enjoy this restaurant and will go out of our way to bypass other BA's to get to this one. The staff is always fun and service is great.
Always a great experience. The food and service were exceptional. I highly recommend this location for a perfect dining experience every time.
This Black Angus Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy an incredible meal and impeccable service. It is our first and last and only choice to spend a special evening together. Thank you
Our waitress Sam was amazing. We celebrated our 26th anniversary and had a great evening.
Our waitress was probably the best waitress” that we ever had
Amazing service and value for what you get
Food was good, the wait staff saw to it that the water glasses were filled, and the staff were friendly. Good place to have steak.
Great waiter. Not rushed. Good food.
The food was very well prepared and the service was great. Thank you for making the evening enjoyable.
We took our daughter out for her birthday. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Thank you for the great experience and memories
VERY busy on New Years Eve. Reservation was honored with just a few minute wait for a table, nice quiet atmosphere making it easy to have a conversation along with great food. Highlight of the dinner was the efficient and friendly wait staff, especially Lisa(/) our server, She made it great.
We were seated about 20 minutes late to our 6:15pm reservation. Staff said OpenTable system booked 40 reservations for a time period with 15 openings. Server was friendly but under pressure to serve too many tables. Side dishes and silverware for two of 6 patrons were delivered after main courses were served. No opportunity for second round of drinks. Lesson learned -- don't dine out at Black Angus on a holiday evening.
New Year’s Eve
We like Black Angus and go there often. Our favorite waitress is Lisa but we did not get her on New Years Eve. Hannah who waited on us was really attentive and pleasant also.
We enjoyed the service, the food and even the wait for the table. Management came around with offers of appetizer bread to all the people that were waiting for their tables.
Food wa very good as usual. An especially attentive server. Near the bar and servers there were somewhat loud
The dining was awesome! Food was great, personable waiter, room temperature perfect. We had a fabulous time!
The food is ok, but overrated and over priced. Much better value at Texas Roadhouse. My salad had no tomatoes or croutons or cucumbers. It was lettuce, grated carrot and ranch. The steak was cooked well and tasted good but was not $22 good. The decor is old western and the cloth on the booth was stained. Our server was great and was the best part of the experience. I was disappointed overall. I would not recommend and will not be back
GREAT STAFF AND GREAT FOOD AND GREAT MANAGER. HAD A FABULOUS TIME.
Every year on my birthday we go out for prime rib. It's one of the few things I just can't make right at home. This year for my 50th birthday, I was very excited, even thought about getting the bigger prime rib. Am I ever glad I didn't. The worst cut of meat I've ever had at a restaurant. Chewy with very little flavor. The vegetables were just ok, nothing great. The margarita was atrocious! The drink was blah, and I still dont know how they salted the rim. It was like they dipped one side of the glass in the salt, instead of the rim! It was very hard to enjoy. Despite indicating it was a birthday celebration on the reservation, there was no happy birthday wish anywhere, not even on the check. Ordering my margarita, I asked for the 'biggest, baddest, birthday margarita you make." What I got was a crappy excuse for a margarita. To top it off, the booth we sat in I pointed out to my wife was filthy, and strangely uncomfortable. I felt like I needed a booster seat. It was just a weird, disappointing experience.
So, would I recommend to a friend, NO, to an enemy, NO. Am I telling everyone I know how bad this experience was, ABSOLUTELY! I will not be back. On a special occasion like this I want a memory. I want a delicious, high quality, brag-about kind of experience. Certainly not what we received!
The area was quiet and we were able to hear one another speak. The steaks were great, but the server seemed distracted and kept forgetting to check in with us. But overall was an enjoyable experience.
Had the trio special, all was very good. Lobster was tender and very good flavor. Steak and shrimp were also very good. Couldn't do dessert but was tempted. Upgraded to the wedge salad and glad I did, very fresh and tasty.
Hector our server was great, very attentive and focused. My steak was a bit tough, however the other two meals were good with no issues.
Black Angus is one of our favorite spots to enjoy a nice meal. This was our first time at the Arrowhead (Bell Rd) location, and we were celebrating an early Christmas meal with friends. We spent 3 hrs drinking, eating and socializing under the expert eye of our server Simone. A lovely lady who was very professional, friendly and courteous. We left her a very nice tip and closed the place down :-)
Always great service, food and experience
The Fall Trio of filet mignon, shrimp and lobster was delicious! Adequate portions and the sides were very good and fresh. Highly recommended!
Great place to celebrate a birthday.
We had the campfire feast, with a coupon for $15 off.
The wrangler steak was supposedly marinated in a balsamic vinegar for tenderness and flavor. While the meat was okay, it was not particularly tender, nor was there any hint of the balsamic vinegar.
The garden salad was good as was the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The beans with bacon were tasty, but under cooked, at least for my preference. Not even really al dente. We both had onions with our steak - I expected caramelized onions, but they were barely cooked and served in large chunks of a quartered half onion. Eh.
If you like chocolate, then the desert selection was good, but otherwise you were stuck with a cheesecake or lemon poppy seed cake. We had the cheesecake - very sweet.
With tip this came to $70, which seems not such a good value. No drinks, but $3 extra each for the so-so onions.
Host took my name but seated walkin customers before us. Everything else was good. We waited 10 minutes
Wish I could remember our servers name. She was fantastic. On top of everything the whole time and very pleasant through it all. There were six of us and everything was served perfectly. I wish I was as good as her and could put her name on this.
Awesome that sum it up!! All around great place for all occasions!!
My son comes from California every Thanksgiving and we have dinner at Black Angus the Friday after every year. He loves to eat there and always orders the filet mignon, and is never disappointed. This year was no exception! Thanks for another wonderful food experience on such a special occasion.....
I go to this Restaurant a lot and it is normally really good. I went on Thanksgiving and had their turkey dinner. The dark meat turkey was not cooked enough and the stuffing was mushy and the vegies in the stuffing were hard. So I would recommend them for their normal menu but not the Turkey special.
We ended up eating in the bar where the service was exceptional due to the crowd that was hoping to enjoy the festivities. I highly recommend your restaurant and will return. Very hospitable and friendly. Like family.
Great service and large portions too
Thanksgiving dinner. The food was ok and all served at once, along with the drinks. Wish they would have spaced it out better. But being that is was Thanksgiving and it was packed, our server was outstanding. He was great with our older disabled parent!
With much of my family having plans this holiday season, we decided to dine out for the holiday and leave the cooking and cleaning to someone else for a change. Happy we set a reservation, we had next to no wait when we arrived (we arrived 10-15 minutes early), we were seated and waited in promptly. The holiday menu provided several options and as much as I was looking forward to the turkey dinner, my husband's prime rib was so much tastier. The Turkey dinner was still good except the stuffing was very mushy (a little to mushy). However, the waiter took extra attention to detail and timed our appetizer, salad, meal, and desserts out perfectly, that was impressive in itself. He had a great personality and kept his presence light and refreshing in a professional and courteous manner. His service made the dinner even better. In all, we had a great evening.
My steak was cooked perfectly, medium-rare! We will definitely return.
I go to this Black Angus frequently but this is the first time trying it for Thanksgiving. The meal was very good. Having the option to enjoy a steak or prime rib, as my companion did, is good for those that don't care for turkey.
Excellent as usual. Great service and staff. We will return.
