First time for my partner and I there, was disappointed in the size of the cut of filet we received for the $117.00 we spent, more then likely we will never return. The wait staff was moderate in that we had to request bread twice, not very attentive.
This was our first time eating at Black Angus in a long time. It was a great meal and our server was outstanding. Will go back again.
I requested dining room, was seated in the bar. Too loud, service was sporadic at best
Food was OK. Steaks were overcooked but still tasted good. Service was outstanding.
Good food good customer service and great company would recommend it
Overpriced. My steak was good but my wife's was VERY VERY tough. Our son's steak was ok too.
This was my 62nd Birthday dinner
The coupon I used said it was $19.95 for steak and lobster up to 6 people which should have been $60.00 for 3 people but averaged $35-$40 rack and cost me $133.00, I am not happy
I have not been here since it opened on the 1970's......
Great steaks for a reasonable price, nice quiet atmosphere and good service.
Made reservation online for bday and anniversary dinner.... that didn't work. salad order was wrong, and hubby didn't even get his. returned mine because the dressing was on the side, but also drowning my salad, when mean waitress returned I got lettuce mix with 1 tomato, 2 croutons for my salad..... :( prime rib was VERY gristly, and VERY fatty. Lobster tails were overcooked and rubbery. $45.00 plate that I wouldn't even feed to my dogs. First time we have gone to black angus in years, but, will NOT be returning. Waitress was short and impatient at every encounter. So disappointed.
We used to eat at Black Angus years ago. Sorry, but after spending almost $100 on this visit, we won't be back..
Where to start ??
NY steak ...........sorry, not good
Mac n cheese...........really?
Salad............Wendy's is better
The bread for starters shrunk in size
Disappointed that my Rare NY Steak came medium. Did not have time to send it back.
Great food and service
Very few customers. Only half full, but service was slow to respond.
Luckily other diners at my table appeared happy with their entrees (all of us ordered 6 ounce filet mignon ), but mine was clearly Not a filet. Mine was misshapen and contained connective tissue. I also ordered their seasonal cucumber salad, but obviously the cook doesn’t know how to slice vegetables. The “premium “ brussel sprouts were quite bland. Service was distracted. The value was good, however, because we each received a free lobster tail due to a great coupon, and the birthday guest received a free dessert.
Good foos, steak was impressive, qualiry and pwrfectly cooked.
Very nice waitress.
I was shocked at how small the potions were. I could fit both steak lunch orders in the palm of my hand.
the meat was also tough.
our waiter was great
As good as always. We love eating at Black Angus, and have been customers for a long time. Great service, one of the best and last real steakhouses.
Pleasant ambiance, and a clean facility (this in spite of its age), and our waiter was extremely nice.. We simply did not enjoy our steaks (too much grizzle on my ribeye).
It was lovely!
Our server was very slow & incompetent. He was not attentive to our needs at all. It took at least 20-25 minutes to receive our meal while we saw other servers bringing diners their food within a 10 minute time frame. He did not even introduce himself to us. I had waited a long time to try this restaurant & I will never ever return. My food was not hot & the shrimp really rubbery. What a waste of $70.
Horrid. From the food to the service our experience was terrible. Only one of the 7 diners in our party actually got what they ordered. Meat was so-so and the salmon was dry. “bernaise” sauce was laughable. Nothing more than melted butter with some sort of unidentifiable herb. With so many good restaurants in town we will not be returning.
We were a party of four first time for all of us at Black Angus Steakhouse ands we all agreed that we had the best steak dinner we have had in a long while. Very satisfied
I order the lemon cake, unfortunately it was stale......
The service was good the seats could be more comfortable. My steak was so overcooked that I could not even swallow it it was dry. I want your way I had to just suck it up as a loss and come home and feed it to my dog. Which was a shame because other than that I really like this restaurant it was the only time so far that they messed up that badly. Another time I ordered food it go and when I can't pick it up I got all the way home and realize that they did not put my salad in the bag. I called up there and the manager was very apologetic and said that he would be sending me a $15 gift card in the mail for my missing salad. However that gift card would never show up.
Wow! Sad to see Black Angus go downhill from our last visit just a few months ago. We had to wait an hour for our meal. We were seated in a poor area and it was our date night. Very disappointing.
Always a great time. Love the food and the service is always on point !!
Overall wonderful experience Loved that it was quiet ,but the music was playing in the background. my steak was a bit chewy from being cut against the grain but good.
Although we usually have no problem with the food at Black Angus my wife’s steak was very tough. We told our server of the problem and he rectified the situation quickly a;d curiously. Other than that everything was outstanding as always.
We eat at Black Angus about once a month and have always had good service and good food.
Our server didn't really seem to care and we waited 20 minutes just to get water at our table. Then subsequently 20 minutes for the next drink and food order. He very much dismissed us and our needs or desires.
They got rid of the bread pudding, we were very disappointed in that decision. We will go back when the bread pudding is back on the menu.
It was lovely
We appreciate very much that our server Alex is very helpful and professional. The prime rib is very tasty. My friend said it is the best prime rib he has eaten.
over then under cooked steak. potatoes were old. the food was just not up to par,esp for the price. service was good but the cooks took forever to over cook the steak. we were sat in a horrible booth at first (right by galley and had a strong body odor) and had to ask for a better booth.
Had a great birthday & Father's Day meal!! The complimentary birthday dessert was terrific!!
Had reservations for 5 at 2pm. We all ordered steak and baked potatoes. 5 minutes later, the waitress came back and said that the bake potatoes would take 25 minutes to make and to a back up side order. When the plates came out, we received our back up order. This was very disappointing. Everything else was fine though.
Our meal, the lobster and prime rib, was delicious!! It was prepared perfectly, the lobster was fresh and tasty. An unexpected surprise!
We walked in to a very powerful smell of mustiness. The restaurant appeared clean, but the smell was there. The bread we got way rock hard, and cold. 4 of us ordered steak. 2 of the 4 steaks were very tough and very fatty. The cook was medium rare and spot on, but you couldn't eat over half the steak that was served. The "grilled" asparagus was burnt on the top and raw on the bottom. I will NOT be recommending this restaurant to anyone and doubt I will ever return. WAY too much money spent for mediocre food.
I called in a reservation, they had the table ready, the hostess was friendly, the server was great.
