I've been there on several occasions and always enjoyed it but was a little disappointed on this visit. The service was fair at best. The server dropped the appetizer in the middle of the table without suppling dishes or a serving spoon! When we finally got someone's attention we were given dishes but still no spoon. Had to ask again for the spoon!! Then we both got steaks but no steak knifes! This is suppose to be a steak house don't they know that steak knifes should be brought to the table as soon as you order steak. Again had to way until we caught the waiters attention before we could get the proper utensil and start eating. The steaks were not cooked properly, we ordered medium rare and it came very rare. You expect more when going out to eat but we are continuously disappointed by the inexperience of the so called chefs at these restaurants. I cook a better steak at home!!! They also need to hire a more experienced wait staff.

Meals were delicious but service was horrible. We had this problem before and did not go for awhile. We decided to try again hoping service had improved. We were wrong! Next time we will go for their terrific HAPPY HOUR

Just ok. I think they were having an off night. The service was slow. Waiter was nice but he was definitely in the weeds. Food was ok, nothing to rave about. Kitchen was also backed up. Not sure if we will return.

Restaurant entrées were over priced. Groupon stated three course dinner for two. It was shared appitizer and dessert. Mussels in white wine were excellent, onion soup was ok, polenta was mushy, paella was good. Bread was salty. Waiter called me "honey". A bit condescending. Service was ok.

It was my first time at Black and Blue and it was an enjoyable experience. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. I would definitely return to this restaurant

Dinner was very nice. This was our first time and we will be back. It would have been nice if our anniversary was recognized or mentioned during the meal as it was noted 2 times in the reservation. I wasn’t looking for a hand out of anything free but saying ‘Happy Anniversary ‘would have been a nice touch Also I was OK ordering from the regular menu , but I did see others who appeared to be regulars offered the restaurant week menu

Always amazing food and drinks. I loved the eggplant meatballs. Being vegetarian it’s not always easy eating at a steakhouse. But they are very accommodating and have different options.

Excellent Service and Filet Mignons cooked to perfection. Also recommend the Calamari Appetizer which was delicious. Very enjoyable evening!

Amazing experience! Only waited 20 mins after reservation which was not bad since the place was packed. The waiter, Julian, was amazing. The table was right next to the fireplace (great for a date night!). The food was outstanding. Definitely recommend!

Great little restaurant with bar. The food was good and the server was great. The thing that made our night the most was the live band. They brought the bar down.

Great service, (thanks James) great food. Even though it was a Saturday night we didn't feel like we were being rushed. Overall an enjoyable experience, we look forward to going back

I hadn’t been to Black and blue for quite a while and wasn’t expecting anything special, however I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious brunch options especially because I’m on weight watchers they had a vegetable eggs Benedict that was delish! I highly recommend brunch

If you’re looking for a small, intimate restaurant with quality food, this is your place! Everything was absolutely delicious! Arturo, our server, was attentive and had no problem accommodating my husband’s picky eating style. We had the short rib app and we loved the sauce on it so much, we requested extra for our skirt steaks which were cooked perfectly. We were so impressed, we already booked our Easter brunch there!

As always it was great! Julian, our server, is always attentive. It was a pleasure seeing him again because he always takes good care of us. Food is always delicious. The ambience is great for a first date or just a night out. Highly recommend you check this place out. Won't be disappointed.

Very disappointed with the food. It was not what we expected. The oysters on the half shell
were frozen when I ate them. The lobster crab cake was mostly bread crumbs and the lobster dinner my husband had was over done. Butter not even melted. It was Valentines Day and it seemed as if they just prepared all the food ahead of time and re-heated it just to get people in and out. They charged $60 per person for a 3 course meal that was not worth the price.

Always a good meal here. Not one of those places where you leave disappointed.

Went to this resturant for a date night with my husband. They have a great specials, date night Tuesday, pre-fixe menu on certain nights. The food was good but I had better steak and salmon in Huntington. A little pricey but expected for a steakhouse. I wouldn't personally go again only because there are many other steakhouses I would like to try in Huntington.

The service was on point. Server was personable and also knew the menu well.

There were two servers and the manager with a busy restaurant. They handle the floor well but having a busser would had made everything successful. The food was great, they offer Groupons available for dinner is a great option to take advantage of.

Great food, fantastic service, and amazing dirty martinis. The waiter was attentive and friendly but he wasn’t pushy. He let us take our time with each course but checked in at appropriate times to make sure we didn’t need anything. It’s rare to get such spot on service. Really happy with our experience. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for a date night or dinner out with friends.

the food and service were excellent. noise level was perfect. you could actually hear yourself and those dining with you. Will be back again, for sure.

We had an 8:15 reservation. We arrived at 8 pm and had a drink at bar. We told hostess we were there and we did not get seated until almost 9:30. They apologized and the owner cane over and said the bill was on them. That has ever ever happened to us. We left a nice tip for waitess and she seemed happy. It was worth the wait! Great customer service.

Haven't been in a few years and now I know why. Mediocre food, fair service. Not a repeat for us.
