We always ask to be in the bar area and we love it!! The restaurant is more quiet and is good for bigger groups.
Every time is fantastic, food and service is great, a lot of options for food and drink.
Love this restaurant!! Great food - especially their steak!!, and awesome service!
Always great to go there, my wife is picky and see loves the food here!
Food was very good not a large selection to choose from.
Sent email already and no response. Worst meal I have ever had dining out. Ribs were burnt, steak was terrible piece of meat and way over cooked and burnt and steak on salad was burnt and over cooked. Meat should fall off of ribs. So disappointed. Taking family out to eat and driving 45 minutes to get there for that!
Great dinner with great service. We were up stairs with a group of us and there were a few other groups. A bit noisy but we helped with that too!
THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS GREAT AS ALWAYS. FROM THE RIBS AN SCALLOPS TO THE SALADS
AND ROLLS. A GREAT PLACE TO EAT!
Awesome meals! Amy - amazing service!
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
2nd visit. Loved it as much the 2nd time as the first. Great service, absolutely wonderful food (we had salad, scallops, steak, and salmon). Will definitely go back, even though it's pricey. The food is THAT good.
Our experience was ok.
Food was good. Service was good.
What a great restaurant! If you are looking for a nice steak house house, with great service, great food and a great atmosphere - this is the place to go to!
BJ’s is a local hot spot, a must visit location during a stay in the area. Wait staff is awesome. A great menu worth the price.
The service was phenomenal and the food was good though nothing to write home about, but we paid entirely too much $ for what we got. The oysters are overpriced and the steaks are far too expensive for only being 6 Oz sirloins. We have no problem paying a lot when we go out to eat, but we were disappointed in the value at BJ’s.
New menu with great variety of choices without being overwhelming. My father ordered the salmon special which he thought was delicious. My mother got the half rack, which never disappoints. I got a simple French Onion soup and salad. Everything was very tasty, (except soup lacked that great bubbly mozzarella cheese that French Onion soup is known for). Our waiter was excellent- very charismatic and attentive. And he made the evening extra special by topping the yummy meal off with a Chocolate Sundae in celebration of my father’s birthday.
Great relaxed atmosphere! Friendly, knowledgeable server! Very much enjoyed the raw oyster bar!
Super fly and groovy place to eat. Prices are a tad bit high.
The food is outstanding! Love the presentation! Wait staff always friendly!
We had no idea that downtown Selinsgrove is so quaint! Very happy we found BJ's!
It was enjoyable. We will go again
Favorite place to visit when we are in town. Great menu selection.
Excellent every time!
Good food Good service everyone is always friendly .
We were in town for a wedding, we all met up the night before had dinner and drinks. Staff was very friendly food was good. We had a great time and would recommend for sure.
we had an excellent experience. the food was great and plentiful. the waitress was excellent, very pleasant and attentive. the atmosphere was very nice. will be returning again.
did not care for the ribs and the fries I thought were fresh cut but not so and the online menu is not up to date so I guess this a one and done for me.
The food was great. The wait staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definatly come back.
We were very please with the food and service we received that night. It was my wife's very first time being there. Thank you
BJ’s is my favorite restaurant in Selinsgrove. I just took my husband and son for dinner and we all enjoyed our meals.
I have no idea how many times that my husband and I have dined at BJ's. We just keep coming back. It is a destination restaurant for us. The food is delicious and innovative. Usually, I order the New Bedford Scallops which I adore! The wine choices, the excellent cocktails and the scrumptious desserts all make for a fantastic dining experience!
Food was great and our waitress added to the experience. Very pleasant and checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without interrupting us every couple of minutes
Oysters and calamari were excellent
Fried pickles soggy
Ribs were very average
Waitress was okay
Lady at front not nice at all
We have dined many times at BJ's. Our service was excellent. The room (upstairs) was very hot, pretty tight, and loud. BJ's charges top dollar for most things, but can because they have no real competition in Selinsgrove. Overall I would recommend.
What a unexpected treat! We were meeting my sister and brother-in-law, who were visiting Harrisburg, for dinner while dropping our daughter back at college at Bucknell. We checked OpenTable to find a restaurant somewhere in between both areas and selected BJ's Steak and Rib House from the list.
The food was so delicious and inventive, server was friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. We would highly recommend BJ's to anyone visiting central PA. The folks who live in Selinsgrove and the students at SU are very lucky to have such an incredible restaurant to eat and hang out!!
First time to dine at BJ's. We had shrimp, clams, ribs, steak, clam chowder, salad, fries, rolls, cornbread, etc. Every single item was absolutely delicious. I wish this restaurant was closer to my home. Will definitely eat here again. Our waitress was very good.
This place is awful. We ordered their two signature dishes, the Chicago steak and the rack of ribs. The ribs came out like beef jerky. They were overcooked, dried out, tasteless and hard to cut with a steak knife. The Chicago steak came out burnt to a crisp for a medium order. By the time the second steak came out, I was done with my dinner. The French onion soup is microwave water with some onions and soggy bread. It is tasteless, clear, and bad.
We actually came for the oyster bar, however, the prices were outrageous so we had shrimp instead. The wine was good but $8.50 for a quarter glass was ridiculous. The BJ platter was overcooked and dry. The food is not worth the exhorbanat prices charged. We eat out at different restaurants every weekend and I rate this as the top worst so far. Also, I asked for a booth, which we got, in the bar! This information should be on the reservation as I do not like to eat in the bar, it is noisy and obviously the ambiance sucked.
So...we were in town for an event and needed a place to eat. I found this place on OpenTable and made a reservation. Let me just say that it was the BEST decision! My husband and I both had absolutely wonderful meals! The waitress was great and kept the food coming with perfect timing. I got oysters for an appetizer and my husband got the shrimp cocktail. All was very fresh and tasty! For dinner, we each got a different type of steak and sides. My husband literally said it was the best steak he had ever eaten (and this is coming from a man who really likes steak!). We did not get dessert because...quite frankly, we had no "room" for it, but I saw some of the desserts going by and they looked amazing. I wish we lived closer so we could go again! If you want a great meal...stop in!
Excellent food, attentive service. Recommended for dinner/drinks.
