Beautiful setting -lots of fun
One of my favorite places to eat in Naples. It is in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton, but still very intimate. Wonderful, quiet music, lots of ability to talk rather than scream at each other. Great people watching and outstanding food. Very small plates to share. All delicious but the steak sliders were make you go back again and again. Best I have ever eaten!
Perfect, time. Good food and entertainment
It is always great for small plates and people watching!
Beautiful. Food & service was great. Enjoyed our evening. Very friendly staff throughout hotel.
Great food at reasonable price with live music. Very attentive service.
Wonderful food and experience as usual! Thank you!!!
We've been to bites many times. The welcoming staff at the hostess stand is always very friendly. Our complaint is that the steak and frites were under seasoned - needed salt - and were delivered barely warm. By the time we received the salt (from a hostess), the steak was cold. The grilled cheese was also on the cold side, but the soup was fine temp-wise. Our next choice - the stuffed dates - were also cold. At that point - it was a birthday - we'd waited long enough, so we finished the dish and decided to leave rather than speak to anyone. The last thing you want when celebrating someone's birthday is to take precious time away from your guest(s) to complain about slow attention to things like salt or food delivered under temperature.
Service and food were good, no complaints but the price point is ridiculous for the amount of food!!! Plates are extremely small but priced as if regular plate size. Really not worth it.
It was fun ordering the different small plates. All were good the meatballs were excellent. The service was as you expect at the Ritz superb. We asked to have our table moved away from the music and the change as handled very smoothly. ( the singer as very good, we just wanted to be able to converse easier.)
Fun spot would go there again.
Food was decent but the service was mediocre at best. Overall a disappointing experience not
Was an amazing hotel and the restaurant is perfectly located in the middle of it all. The service is what you would expect at a Ritz and the food was really good.
Wait staff not experienced and let the ball drop. We had to ask for a champagne bucket for our bottle and had to pour our own at one point. Waitress completely forgot my husbands order. I have food allergies and the waitress pretty much told me there were like 4 things I could eat and the chef didn’t want to cook for me because of this. I dine at Ritz-Carlton’s frequently and this is one of my favorites. I’m sorry to see the service so poorly run good luck during the season. I’m local. Very disappointing. The ambiance was great food good and of course Gee was and always is amazing
Dessert was delivered late blaming the kitchen. Not Ritz Carlton. All else was very good, not great. We love the Ritz and will definitely return.
After many happy visits to Bites in the Ritz lobby we were unhappy with our recent visit. Service was the primary problem - at many levels. Glacially slow, multiple mixed up orders, indifferent attitude and a sense that there had been no staff training. Food was just ok this time as well. The whole evening was just “off” - so unlike past visits. No management seemed present. It wasn’t particularly busy so not sure what the issue was. We were looking forward to a nice, festive holiday evening - left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
The ladies went to share some Christmas cheer as the surroundings are perfect for a holiday treat and gift exchange. Overall the food was ok, nothing to write home about. There are other places downtown doing a much better job of curating their tapas menu. The kitchen was extremely slow, food inconsistently cooked and inconsistently delivered. Two ladies had to send things back two times and on the second try gave up because the wait was too long. Jose our waiter was very nice and working hard however it was clear to see that there was a huge lack of support staff and for this reason service was almost non existent. I had to ask the hostess to have someone bus the table (which had sat way too long untended) and refresh our water. Nikki was kind and quickly started bussing and pouring water herself. It also took 20 minutes to get our checks. Come on Ritz Carlton.... you are supposed to be the best of the best! Is this not your business? Please don't respond with an excuse of how it is "SEASON", season is supposed to be your shining moment. I certainly don't mind paying for a special experience but this was not special therefor only one star for VALUE. I hope you can pull it together.
A special evening from start to finish. The Gingerbread House was amazing. The Christmas tree and piano music were beautiful. Drinks were delicious and food was outstanding.
It does not get any better - service, food and ambiance.
Probably our favorite restaurant in Naples. Fabulous live music.
The service was outstanding. We suggest the guacamole and chorizo stuffed dates.
One waiter constantly bumped, kicked, or slapped my chair each time he walked by (poor training). The noise level is loud, with screaming children of non-attendant parents in the lobby, and this evening, a constant flow of groups taking pictures up in the restaurant in front of the large Christmas tree. The mushroom Wellington (meatless) is wonderful. The meatball are nothing special. Service was average. $115 for 1 appetizer, 3 small tapas, and 4 drinks (3 glasses of wine and 1 martini) seemed just a bit high for an open lobby restaurant.
My wife and I dine at Bites about once a month and our latest experience was again a very good one, with creative food and service (Mary was our server) that was excellent.
We had a delightful evening at Bites. Of course the Ritz Carlton is a beautiful setting, and the food we ordered was delicious. We started with the guacamole, there was plenty to share for the two of us. Then we had the steak bernaise with fries, and the grouper with ancient grains. Both were prepared to perfection. The young woman who played and sang at the piano was very talented!! All in all a perfect evening.
Fun night watching all the happy guests at the hotel mingle. Food, cocktails, and service were great. We will definitely do this again soon!
Once again Bites was delightful. The tapas style cuisine comes in bite size and intricately made portions. The dishes go from simple to more complex but all prepared with equal attention. The staff is attentive but unobtrusive. We’ll be back...again.
We had a very special date night and loved the music from Guy at the piano. We go about every 3-6 months and have enjoyed it each time!
Delightful ambiance, the "small plates" were very well prepared and service was excellent. We'd definitely eat there again and recommend it!
Delicious food as always and outstanding service. We took our 2 grandkids ages 6 and 3 and Joseph, one of our favorite waiters, gave them each a cute stuffed dolphin. They wanted to go back the next day again. The kids enjoyed their food, especially the chocolate chip cookie.
The quality of the food and service is excellent. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The portions are smaller so that you can try multiple dishes. The music is wonderful. Great place for a romantic dinner.
Our experience was memorable. It was to celebrate a birthday and the setting, service and food could not have been better. While pricey, not overly outrageous given this is the Ritz.
