Really great service on a busy night. Great ambiance
Great area small event get together. Loved the cheese plate. Loved the filet mignon!
We had a reservation and no one came to seat us. After 10 min of waiting we left. The restaurant was not busy.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good and ambiance was peaceful.
Menu on open table doesn't quite match the actual menu, so I was a little disappointed. But everything we had was tasty. We came around 6 on a Thursday so we were seated in the bar rather than the restaurant proper. But we got both regular menus and happy hour menus, so that ended up being a bonus. Portions were nice, and prices very reasonable. We'd go again.
Dinner was amazing--presentation was beautiful--wait person Michael was wonderful. Then we had breakfast there the next morning--excellent as well. We will come again.
Food was good. Fries were super yummy. Service was excellent. Only hiccup was someone left an avacado under the table many my daughter stepped into it with her shoe. But we cleaned it up no problem.
Great experience for a family birthday here. Easy to get a reservation for 8 people of a Saturday night. Really good food and good service. We would recommend.
The restaurant is in a good location (by the Tacoma Dome) and ambiance, but that was about it. Three members of the party ordered the salmon which was way overcooked. This was not just our table, the table next to our also ordered the salmon, and they refused to pay because the salmon was so bad. Two members of our party ordered the risotto and it was basically just under-cooked rice. One member ordered a salad, and after everyone else was served, we had to ask 2 times for the salad to be brought out (finally brought out about 10 mins after everyone else was served). Overall with drinks, the dinner came to $60 per person (without tip). Very disappointing.
Friend's birthday brunch. Great food, but the server, Marissa, was disengaged and disinterested. No coffee refills, no water refills, no dressing for salad, the list goes on. Nice young woman, but certainly needs more training and/or motivation. Dessert - maple pecan cake was outstanding as was the omelet and the salmon Cobb salad.
The breakfast wasreally good, although very disappointing that the huckleberry pancakes everyone raves about on Yelp are no longer served, since (other than the restaurant being right in our hotel), was the main reason we selected it in lieu of checking out the breakfast offerings downtown. Also there was literally no ambiance, which is normally what we would have expected from a hotel restaurant. However, all the reviews we had read made it sound like it was a not to be missed locale for food & ambiance. So bottom line, if you are staying at the Hotel Murano (hotel itself actually has great ambiance which actually made Bite ambiance more disappointing) and looking for convenience and good food, Bite is excellent for that. However, I wouldn’t go out if my way to come here, if you are looking for a restaurant with good, food local personality, and ambiance.
We were lucky enough to have Karen as our server. She was friendly, helpful and attentive. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. The food is always consistently good.
Some of the food was great
When my group showed up for our 11:00am brunch reservation, we waited for a while before learning that our table had been given away to another group that they thought was us. After another wait, they sat us at a new table and handed out menus that did not include any brunch food. When we asked, we were told that due to an event they were having a limited menu and were not serving brunch that day. We saw the people at our original table eating breakfast food. I asked another employee about it and was told that they must have ordered their meals before 11:00. They apparently stopped serving that type of food at 11:00. We decided to leave, as their limited menu did not meet the dietary needs of everyone in our group, plus we really were there for brunch, not lunch. It was all a big disappointment of strange circumstances and odd customer service. The result was us having to wait a long time to get into another restaurant for brunch and eating hours after our 11:00 plans.
The food and service was great. The style of the restaurant is not on par with the menu prices or the style of the hotel. The BITE feels like it's trying a bit too hard. The red-robin restaurant type feel with expensive food.
Nice place for lunch! Valet parking made it even easier to get out of the office and back !
I absolutely love this place!! The food is ALWAYS delicious. ALWAYS fresh, very, very creative, healthy, unique, portion sizes are perfect and the price is right. It would be nice if hot tea wasn't $4.00 though! I am a repeat customer, love the food.
My visit was during a business conference at the Hotel Murano. I was able to get a 6-person reservation very easily, using Open Table. For me, it was very convenient to just stay at the venue and not have coordinating the driving to an off-site location (and it was relaxing for the clients enjoying dinner). While the prices are higher, the meals are reflective of that cost (quality, taste, presentation and quantity). The dinner menu doesn't have very many choices, rather a double-edged-sword, if you will; you just have to go with what you like - it will be delicious. Because BITE supports the Hotel Murano bar, the appetizer list seemed to be longer than most - lot's of choices, if that is what you are looking for.
The kitchen is always slow.
