My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Bite and it was delicious! Great service and food. Get the filet mignon!
Service from Terri was fantastic and food was delicious. My filet mignon was melt in your mouth! I would definitely go back!
The eyes Benedict were hard like a boiled eye..... after waiting 20 mins after having reservation, they did not even redo the order.
I expected the restaurant to be as nice as the rest of the hotel. The space was a bit hospital cafeteria. The food was good but, safe. I’m being a touch critical because the hotel
Is nice and the bar area was great. They need to dial up the restaurant area a notch or two to reflect the rest of the hotel
It was very nice, loved the casual atmosphere and the food was good. Drinks were nice as well. Friendly staff and professional.
Service was excellent. The food was okay although overpriced. The restaurant is actually inside a hotel so the ambiance leaves much to be desired and the noise level was too high from the group behind us.
Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! The applewood bacon and sausage were delicious as well. They also had great coffee which is always a plus!
OK food, nice small plates, OK wine choices. Scallops app was very good. Nice server who disappeared after she brought the entrees, so we never got to order coffee etc. Very salty food, overall, though! Yikes. Not healthy.
Very convenient to theater and downtown. Easy valet parking included. Interesting menu. I had perfectly prepared salmon and the soup was delicious.
Service was attentive.
One of the best views of Mt Ranier in the Northwest. Highly recommended.
My wife and I decided to try a new place and had heard good things about the breakfast. We couldnt have been more wrong.I had gotten the breakfast board. The whole meal seemed as though it had been out together and refrigerated for a few hours. The bacon was stale and turned to dust.
Muffins were also stale and hard as rocks.
The smoked salmon was sticky, tasteless and also seemed as though it was not prepared to order.
Best part of the meal was the raspberries.
Spent $30 on two meals that could not be eaten. Most unfortunate.
We had a party of 4 for a breakfast meeting. Service was prompt, the meals were healthy and delicious, and the coffee was hot. Overall a very good place to meet.
The beginning was a bit rocky. We almost just left. We waited close to 10 minutes before we were even talked to, and were told to hold on someone will be right with us. Another 10 minutes goes by and another person said can you wait a minute I have to clean a table for you. Finally seated, we waited another 10-15 minutes for water and a waitress. We told her we just wanted to order everything at once. From then on every thing was excellent.
Went to Bite with my girlfriends all of us 30+ we were dressed to kill and having a good time. The server was horrible asked us if we wanted the check before we even ordered food. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant one a party of like 20 and we were asked to quiet down. Since I was the ONLY black person in the room of course we were louder than the party of 20. My white girlfriends quickly saw the racism and demanded the food we ordered be taken off the bill and we paid for our drinks and quietly left.
Love Bite and return often. This time for the first time in over a year, the food although good was not prepared as ordered. Being the holiday season we suspected a standby chef. Like I said it was more than edible yet the manager took it upon herself to credit us an ample sum because they want their customers to be happy. Like I said the food was good, not not perfectly cooked as ordered. Will still return again and again.
Wish lunch menu was available. It was already 1130am. Most places lunch menus are available at 11am. Or at least a brunch menu combo,
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Murano and were heading to a concert at the Dome. We decided to eat at Bite for ease and the food was good. It wasn't anything to write home about but it was decent. The reason I have a hard time recommending Bite is because the service was very slow. I am assuming they just didn't properly staff for an unexpectedly busy night but it took 30 min. to get our drinks food took about 40 mins to show up. We were intimately satisfied with the food and drinks but felt we should not have had to wait that long. So if this is business as usual for Bite I would say go somewhere else because the mediocre food isn't worth the wait. If this was a fluke night and they are usually quicker on service then its a convenient option.
Wow! Loved our lunch, exceeded expectations by far. Rosemary club sandwich, curry soup with chicken wrap and Kobe burger were excellent. Huge portions, great value, especially in a beautiful hotel. Amazed at view and outstanding service. Will return.
Would recommend the Bite to anyone. Have eaten here many times.
A magical perfect meal. Very good service inside the restaurant and especially great service from the valet.
We were at a conference and decided to try the hotel restaurant versus losing our parking spot, risky but needed an early dinner fast! Absolutely delighted with the delicious salad and soup of the day, very competitive pricing. Great service, and also appreciate not being forced to leave a 20% tip although GLADLY did so! Thank you! Deena
Very limited menu, not the same as the menu on Open Table. only four Entree chioces. Had the Salmon , was overcooked and fishy. Our waitress was great. We won’t be back.
We were staying at the hotel and decided to try it. Terry, our waitress, was awesome. The scallops not so much. The chowder was OK and potato skins good. Burger was fine.
We were staying in downtown Tacoma and wanted something moderately priced with some fresh menu choices. We were happy we tried Bite! It's on the 4th floor of the Hotel Murano. I had clams and a vegetarian salad, my husband had halibut. The service was very thoughtful and they accommodated my husband's request to make substitutions on the included side dishes. Bite serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will definitely be back. Excellent value for the money and very nice people.
The staff was great
The food taste wonderful
Service was the best, the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly
THis has become my go to eating establishment for breakfast/brunch in Tacoma. It doesn't get any better.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Most places over cook salmon, and this was done perfectly! I would highly recommend it to friends and family!
Service was amazing, food was even better, I was so impressed and Pleasantly surprised 😍
This is not our first time to BITE. They have great food options, excellent service and we love that it is located in our favorite Tacoma Hotel... Hotel Murano!
I ordered the filet mignon and it was tough and over cooked. My husband orders the halibut and it was just okay. We waited 45 minutes for our food b/c they had trouble with an oven so they offered us a dessert as an apology. We ordered the chocolate cake and it wasn’t worth the calories it was also just okay. We spent $80 for dinner for the both of us. We went to the fish peddler just up the road the previous night and our meal was delicious and half the price.
As hotel guests we gathered for Saturday lunch and were surprised that the restaurant was nearly empty. We were seated at a dirty table with an excellent view. Our 3 salads took over 30 minutes to arrive. I was expecting a more gracious dining experience.
Great view of Mt. Rainier if you have a good seat. Included Valet parking and great staff. Overall great, somehow it is lacking character. Not sure what it is missing. But what it lacked in character it made up for in great food and good ingredients. Not fully organic but makes a good attempt at high quality ingredients locally sourced. It is a restaurant in a hotel so prices match what you might expect from a hotel restaurant. However, it does appear that prices almost match the quality of the food and drink. Overall, I recommed Bite!
Great food and overall experience!!
First time. We had tickets to Pantages theater, which is very close. Good variety. Nice decor!
Happy hour portions were generous and food was delicious. The hostess, manager and waitstaff were all so friendly and attentive. Props to them for the great customer service.
Wonderful service! Food is healthy and good! Parking is validated and prices reasonable.
In Hotel restaurant, too tired to go out look for other eating options, stopped in to bite. Unexpected diverse menu, good vegetarian option, fine dining presentation. Good wine, friendly Waiters and servers. Quiet location, somewhat expensive.
The halibut was cooked perfectly and the beurre blanc classic! My wife’s filet was prepared as ordered, an ample portion with a taste of fig sauce. She is not a fan of the fig sauce but enjoyed everything else. The service was attentive and to the point.
Delicious cocktails. Great charcuterie plate and a spectacular scallop/rhubarb appetizer. This is a really nice spot for a group of friends - menu is wide-ranging so everyone can find something they like. Wait staff was efficient and attentive.
We arrived very early on a Sunday evening and were initially concerned when we saw very few customers. We were seated at a wonderful circular booth by very friendly staff who were quick to serve water, a basket of bread and menus. Staff was very willing to answer all questions. Each of the four of us had different items from the menu: scallops, red potatoes, salad, risotto, clam chowder, Miso Chicken, and Salmon. Everything was delicious! Although we came from Olympia and Redmond, we certainly would return !
Really great service on a busy night. Great ambiance
