We had a great dinner with friends. My girlfriend ordered a steak, which was tough and chewy. The rainbow trout was outstanding, the green goddess salad fabulous. Chocolate decadence cake and apple crumble desserts were very good as well. We will be back again soon!
Food, especially the specials are so yummy. Call eRlyin the week to get a reservation.
I’ve eaten there before and the food was good. For some reason thIs time the food was so bland.
A real find! Food was unique and had a home-cooked feel. Fantastic prices... honestly, the owners should charge more...
The food was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals we all have had. Looking forward to going back!
Bite never disappoints with its consistency of delicious, fresh food and unique specials. Make a reservation as it's always busy even on weeknights.
The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. The noise level was very loud and hard to have a conversation. Will have to try inside again to see if it’s always that loud. One loud group forces everyone to get louder.
We discovered Bite 2 years ago and have never been disappointed. My entire family votes thumbs up for Bite.
Food is great as always. Local ingredients and friendly staff.
Great service and food! Love the BYOB concept!
Definite worth a visit. Excellent food served quickly. Sampled 10 dishes so far and all are fantastic.
Always great. We’ve visited numerous times, never disappointed Plus BYOB 😃
We loved our first experience at Bite! What a wonderful place for an anniversary date 😊. The food was amazing, I will definitely recommend Bite to everyone I know!
We've been meaning to visit The Bite much earlier. So glad we finally did, the food was great. Make sure you make your reservations early, they book up quickly epically on the weekends.
This place is amazing! Love the atmosphere and the food is delicious.
Enjoyed the tandoori chicken. Wish it had come with a side rather than ordering the apple slaw as an extra when the pork chop dinner came with the extra.
Always delicious, great kids meal prices, best array of gluten free options. Never disappoints.
What a find! We celebrated a friend's birthday here this week, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. We dined outdoors, and it was a perfectly perfect summer evening to do so. We brought a bottle of wine to accompany our dinner, and were pleased to be offered wine glasses to use so didn't have to bring some from home. Everything was so fresh and yummy, and we finished the night off by splitting an apple crisp from the menu. The waitress was very helpful and couldn't have been nicer. We all agreed that we'd like to return sometime with our spouses. Like many other reviewers, we passed by Bite without knowing it and had to turn around. Now that we know what to look for, we'll find it on the first try when we come back---and believe me, we WILL be coming back!
The last meal we had was my second time there in a week. The first time the service and food were excellent. The second time our server kept forgetting things. We brought my 88 yr. old dad in for a birthday meal. He had to remove his hearing aides. It is extremely loud in there. As I looked at the walls I noticed the noise level could be improved dramatically by a simple fix. Put up decorative noise panels on the walls!! That is it. We could hardly hear our conversations and my dad couldn't hear any of it because he had to take his aides out. I do like the menu options and it tastes fresh. I haven't eaten outside yet, but when it's 90 degrees outside I wouldn't want to. Please, please fix the sound level. It can be done.
Excellent waitress! Three of us had excellent meals....my husband ordered sea bass and was over cooked.....fish should never be that way....unless of course the diner requested it. We love eating there but the noise level is really really bad! Wish they could rectify that somehow!
Great service, food & ambiance!! Loved being able to sit outside & BYOB!! We’ll be back!!!
Bite is farm fresh and delicious. It's literally like going to your friends house who knows how to cook with good ingredients and provide you with a lot of good options to choose from. Our server was polite, prompt, and knowledgable about the menu items. Ambience was moderate/energetic considering it was a Wednesday night. There was a live musician. We would like to return and to reserve a seat outside. There is plenty of shade due to the trees, so it would have been nice to sit outside. Inside was good, too, though. Don't pay attention to the reviews on here that talk about people who are embarrassed to go here because of the appearance. Know that you're not going to a commercial-looking establishment... relax.. go to this homey restaurant and enjoy. We enjoyed various entrees: blueberry maple salmon, the pork chops, the "boot" sandwich, kids had chicken fingers and fries (x2), and we had many desserts: chocolate cake, creme brulee, apple pie w/ ice cream, bourbon pecan ice cream... it was amazing. BRING YOUR OWN BEER!!! Our bill was ~$100. Awesome for the amount and quality that we got.
Excellent food and service as always
Food was fantastic, we were celebrating a birthday so we wanted to try something new and absolutely loved the quaint place.
My blueberry maple salmon was amazing!
The food here is fresh and tasty! Chose restaurant due to it's many gluten free options for a friend. Definitely will come back. The restaurant sign is a little unusual but inside is lovely. If you drink alcohol, you must bring your own. I saw people bringing in a bottle of wine, then restaurant provided them the wine glasses for it. Desserts are amazing too. Will definitely come back.
I was totally taken by surprise at this restaurant. Several review were really good and I couldn't wait to try it. I was with a date and was actually embarrassed at my choosing.
Much to my surprise, it's at a house, and not a very nice one) and we were seated outside. That sounds great except "outside" was on a slight grade and I had to situate my chair as to not roll downhill. Our table had not umbrella and it started to sprinkle rain. Fortunately it was very light. We walked up a hill, in the yard to get to the dining area. If you go, wear shoes you can climb in. The foo was on+
ly OK. The entrees were over-priced. Inside was so noisy that a conversation would be impossible.
Such a disappointment.
Everything was really good. I had the salmon that was marinated in blueberry something and it was great . My friend and our time choosing between pastas
We arrived at Bite, taking the driveway past planting beds and patio seating on the lawn, along with a great crowd, on a hot, humid, evening, to the parking lot. Our group of six were seated at a large booth in the eclectic restaurant that was formerly a ranch house on the outskirts of Milford. It was part farmhouse, part country, rustic, homey, and very loud. The place was hopping and there appeared to be just two servers... One for inside guests and one for outside. While friendly, our server was so busy with other guests (taking drink orders, food orders, delivering orders), that we waited for more than 40 minutes for him to find time to take our order. That would have received a "no return" plan from the group, had it not been for the delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts! It's funny what you'll tolerate for fresh ingredients and expert preparation. The pulled pork, grilled fish, pasta dishes, salads and sides were fantastic, as were the freshly prepared donuts and blueberry bread pudding. Do yourself a favor... Grab a cooler (it's BYOB) and good friends and head to Bite... Be prepared to sit back, relax and have some of the best food around.
Mother’s Day dinner! Food was great ! Tried the alligator. Very good ! Pasta was awesome!
Food was “ok”. From previous reviews we were expecting a much better experience. Service was very good.
This was our second time going. We had a 6:30 reservation and we were not seated until 7pm. We had a party of 6 including two 78 year olds that were not comfortable standing and waiting for so long, but there were not options for them. The server after seating us apologized and tried to make up for the timing by bringing out our food more quickly. So, we had our salads and within 5 minutes our meals came. There was no room on the table for everything so we did not finish our salads. The food was good, the server was very nice but I think we may not choose to go again until there is outdoor seating, or have fewer people.
Great food and service.
Bite never disappoints! We have eaten here for the last three years when we are in the area for an event and our group grows every year as more friends hear the rave reviews from the others.
With a large group we order a number of appetizers, desserts, and so many entrees, that we get a wide sampling of everything on the menu as well as the specials. Every single thing is fresh, well executed, with unusual twists in the condiments and sides that bring even a simple piece of salmon or dish of pasta to the next level. The flavors are amazing and complimentary without being contrived. Every ingredient is fresh and flavorful, with the staff being able to tell you the location and name of the farmer who grew most of them. The food is cooked perfectly and plated in an appealing but not too trendy manor, unlike so many other so called farm-to-table, Pinterest obsessed places we find in Chicago. This authentic good food. You will not be disappointed.
Pasta is amazing. BYOB.
Excellent! On business travel, came back for dinner #2, back to back.
Continues to be awesome. Well prepared. Great appetizer plates. Curry was awesome but everyone in my group raved about their food. Service was quick and attentive.
Bite is a hidden gem of a restaurant in Milford. The service is spot on and they are serving up some of the best food in Cincinnati. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and there is no corkage fee for the wine you bring. I love that they source locally so everything is fresh. Have loved everything from there. This is a culinary experience.
