Celebrated my birthday dinner. The decadent mushroom pasta is amazing!! I cannot get beyond it on the menu. My husband enjoyed the pork chop special. Only complaint is we asked for decaf coffee with our carrot cake dessert. Coffee is served in copper Moscow Mule cups. Tinny taste prevented us from drinking the coffee. Make a reservation now - booked several months in advance.

A small farm to table restaurant and our first time dining at Bite, we loved it! The food was delicious, staff very friendly, great service and it’s BYOB! We started with the dry rub wings they were very good. Oddly reminded me of eating Cheetos, in a good way! For dinner we ordered the chicken parmesan, pesto cream pasta and Cuban sandwich all three were VERY good! We brought a bottle of wine with us and ended dinner with the donuts. Can’t wait to go back!

Got the bbq shrimp and cheesy grits! Delicious! My husband got the Cuban sandwich and he loved it. We were seated inside and there was a loud (drunk) group nearby--very loud. Outside seating seems like the place to be provided the weather cooperates. Food was the best we've had in a while while dining out. Even the simple salad was so fresh and amazing. And of course, the blueberry, white chocolate bread pudding was so good (could have been larger portion). Reasonable prices.

The food was excellent. The booth was a little tight. The only thing that was bad was the amount of flies in the indoor dining area and it got really hot inside. There where less outside. They need to do a hostess stand outside to keep the bugs out. I can't wait to come back and eat there.

It is a fantastic restaurant, not only because it is really fresh, hence the farm to table, but the dishes are so tasty! The main dishes and desserts are to die for. It is a BYOB which is perfect. The service is outstanding. It is a very small restaurant so you need reservations well in advance. There are about 10 tables. In the Summer the patio is open and maybe duplicates the capacity. It is really a jewel

The food and service at Bite never disappoints and tonight was no different. Our server, Missy, was amazing! She was cheerful, attentive and had great recommendations We took a friend with food allergies and the restaurant was very accommodating of this. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options as well. You've got to try the gluten free carrot cake if you go- SO good!

We love bite, the food is always fresh. Excellent choices with lots of variety. Love we can bring a bottle of wine with us. I usually don’t get dessert but I did they their homemade ice cream , Bourbon Pecan. Delicious. Can’t wait for the outside seating to be open again.

Everything was fantastic. Unfortunately the acoustics in such a small restaurant were awful land it was so loud that we couldn’t hear to have a conversation unless we screamed. It was the loudest restaurant we have ever been in. Not sure what can be done about this. For this reason alone we won’t be back unless we can get outside seating.

Excellent food and reasonable wait time. The only criticism I have was that we asked to move to another table because we were with a man who is 6'7" and he didn't fit in the booth we were in. The waitress said we couldn't move because of reservations. No party took the other table the whole time we were there. We would still go back!

9/11/20 So sorry to hear about the fire and hope the repairs don't take long cant wait to get back. This is one of my favorite places on the east side. Great food and exceptional service. Love the daily specials and the bananas foster banana bread (splurge and get the bourbon pecan ice cream aka. the Rob). Definitely need reservations and arrive on time. Don't forget to BYOB, love this concept!

We have dined at TheBite for lunch and always enjoyed it. Fat Tuesday we took a friend there for her 84th birthday dinner and we were greatly disappointed. The food was mediocre and poorly presented: a piece of salmon plunked on a plate with over cooked zucchini and over cooked shrimp with grits. The noise level was awful, so we left after shouting at one another. Hopefully, this was an off day, as this restaurant was always a lunch time favorite.
