Bisuteki Tokyo Japanese Steak House - Marriott Hotel Cambridge
It was great, chef was awesome. Waiter was always there when needed.
The usually exceptional chefs at Bisuteki perform and prepare outstanding dinners...but last Saturday we got a sub-par performance and the food was unacceptable. Unseasoned proteins and sides led to a disastorius birthday celebration. All five people left very disappointed and will look elsewhere for a Bisuteki dinner.
Great service, and entertaining for kids always a plus!
Service was great. Waiting staff was pleasant and took care of us routinely. Chef was awesome and fun. He got everyone at the table to participate in the show. Food was plentiful as we took some home. Taste was good on the steak/ shrimp; vegetables/fried could use some flavor— used used the Ginger dipping sauce to add a little extra punch. Ambiance was a little dated but we were not there for the chairs and the rugs. ;)
Love the free parking at the hotel!
Would definitely go back!
We went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday with friends. We had a party of six. I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews but we had a very good experience. Our chef was very engaging and the food tasted great. I had a cocktail which definitely was worth the money.
Food was okay, probably better things on the menu. They really rushed to get us out of there
Great time for a birthday!
Food and service were excellent! We'll go back soon
Seems they were short staff, still enjoyed my time and food was better than last time.
The chef was outstanding!! The food was delicious. We enjoy the variety of food that is available. It so fresh and we like the hibachi table.
Your average hibachi. Nothing special, generous portions and always entertaining.
It took a few minutes to get seated. I read some reviews that expressed the same issue. The food was fine and service quick. I was in town for business and wanted a light dinner so was perfect. Staff was friendly and accommodating. But nothing special.
The food was fresh and very good. The service was a little slow and not as friendly as could be, but decent. I'm sure there are better places to eat, but it was quite convenient as we were staying at the Marriott Courtyard where the restaurant is housed. The Gyoza appetizer was very good. Sushi was fresh too. We did not want or sit at the hibachi grill, we just wanted sushi so they put as initially at the sushi bar, but with 4 people, it was hard to talk, so we asked to move to a non-hibaachi table and they were fine with that, and our waiter continued to serve us at the table.
Food average as expected, but service (not chef!) was terrible. He was rude and unavailable. What’s worse, he brought a religious vegetarian a “tofu plate” that had shrimp on it. When we asked him to take it back he said “just wipe it off” and “just take the shrimp off the plate.” Incredibly insensitive!!!!
Good food entertaining and great price . Service slow even though restaurant quiet
When we arrived there was no one to seat us, we waited 10 mins with other people who said they were waiting around 15 mins before we got there. I then had to walk into the dining area to find someone to check us in and seat us. The food was just ok. Overall, it was better than fast food, but nothing to write home about.
Food had too much oil and soy sauce. Could have been lighter
Excellent restaurant, and food was delicious. Will definitely go back again.... 🙂
The saki selection was very, very, poor. Only two options, hot or cold.
It's one of my favorite restaurants! I've been going there for years and the the food is always consistently good!
Hibachi food was VERY good. Service was fine but not very friendly and our particular hibachi chef had no personality and didn't care to entertain us at all -- he just cooked. That was underwhelming since we went here for a fun birthday celebration. Thankfully the food made up for the service.
Delicious as always, the service was quick the cook was really great
The food was a little more mildly seasoned compared to similar teppanyaki places, but the chef was very skilled and enjoyable.
A most enjoyable afternoon and excellent meal. We would recommend Bisuteki to all our family and friends who visit from out of state.
A nice family place to go and kids love it too! Staff is good I've read some reviews about the staff but I have yet to experience any of those things. Overall good food and a good time.
Good times, good food, good service. Scorpion bowl should’ve been bigger 🙃
We had 25 people and everything went smoothly. They were very helpful and everyone had a great time.
Great time, great service! Definitely returning!
Go at least once/year. Kids love it and the food is great.
I really had a wonderful time as did my guests. My major complaint is that I made a reservation for 7:00 and being that I had my 94 year old mother in law with me, expected to be seated at 7:00. We had to wait 20-25 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, it was a wonderful experience!
We had a great hibachi chef and the sushi was also delicious. Filet mignon also excellent.
They continue to make dining here a true pleasure. The chefs entertain and cook dinner to perfection. This location actually outshines any in the Greater Boston area.
The food was fine. We ordered off the regular menu and did not sit at one of the hibachi tables. Still, the smell from the cooking tables was overwhelming. We were just staying at the hotel in the same building and ate there for the convenience. I would not go back again. Both the hotel and the restaurant were mediocre.
Not a bad place, but not great either. They are "okay". Chef looked bored and didnt want to put on a show.
Yearly tradition to go for free (with ID) birthday dinner and it's always a great meal and time. Yum.
I really enjoyed the food, ambiance, & atmosphere!
The food is always good if you are a fan of hibachi. Unfortunately, the service was a little lacking as I had to literally chase after servers to come bring us more alcohol after our first drink order. Even with the first drink order, I had to repeatedly remind the server to bring us one of the beers that we had ordered, which it took 4 times asking the question to bring the beer. Other than this, the rest of our visit was great as usual.
I used to be huge fan, but unfortunately quality has gone down hill.
The cook wasn't in the mood at all. Curiously, rice was the last thing he served. When I got rice on my plate the lobster had been there for 20minutes. The only have a couple sauces and they are not tasty. Soup is also a down.
