So bad, I felt completely tricked and catfished by the reviews and photos. The restaurant is in a hotel lobby. They had half the restaurant completely dark because they couldn’t bother to put on the lights. Plexi glass dividers, cheap, brown hotel chairs and carpet. The food photos on the internet look like high quality food. Look at what I actually got. When I went up to the desk the waiter didn’t even look at me at first. He left me standing and finally, on the third time around, addressed me. There was no one else there. Stay far, far away.

They took our reservation but apparently had a private party, and were shocked that we showed up. Put us in a noisy side room, and forgot about us. The food was decent. Won't be coming back

The food and service was very good. The waitress was attentive. We went for the three course prime rib meal. They did not have prime rib and substituted for rib eye steak. The steak was cooked nicely and the food was plenty of food. Had to take some home. Would go again.

have eaten there many times. Usually the food is very good. Last night the salmon was excellent but the small steak was poor, not easy to chew and not cooked the way I requested. Even the sauce was. a bit salty. They use Starbucks and serve coffee in paper cups --I was told Starbucks insists. That is s big turn off in a nice restaurant.

I didn’t realize it was a hotel. It felt like they opened just for us. Took awhile to get set up- we had to look for someone to open the place. It took awhile, but the food was good.

Generous portions, but lacked finesse. Salad was field greens with a few tomatoes and a sweet dressing. Salmon needed a sauce and lemon. Risotto with peas and asparagus was good, but topped with spinach that overwhelmed the dish. Bread was brought after asking for it, but no butter was served. They replaced my first glass of wine after I found it unpleasant and I expected to pay for both, but they only charged me for the second which was greatly appreciated. The dining room was well appointed with live jazz performed throughout dinner at a very pleasant sound level.

Have been going here for years and was unaware of new management of hotel & restaurant. I think this may have ben the worst dining experience in my life. The service was non existent, the food was terrible, and it even took over 15 minutes to get a check. Then the person at the register did not know how to process payment and had to get help. They brought out my wife's dessert and said they forgot mine. Literally 20 minutes for mine to arrive at the table. They said they had to bake the lava cake fresh but why was my cake cold? I will never , ever go back to this location.

We went specifically because we had a groupon for a Prime Rib Dinner. When we arrived, we were told there was no Prime Rib but we could choose from anything on the menu given to us that coincides with the original deal. That was ok and the food was good. Service was also good. We came to understand that the Prime Rib dinner special had not been available for a long time. That particular deal should have been withdrawn so customers had a choice and not be surprised when they got there.

A special favorite that we like to share with friends. This is no longer the DoubleTree Hotel and the restaurant has slightly changed its menu. But the great news is they now have a live jazz trio adding to the dining pleasure. Food and service are always good here.

It's a great spot for a quiet lunch with no rushing and there's plenty of parking, whereas most of Tarrytown is metered parking.

My salmon was very good but my husband wasn’t happy with his steak. The ambience was boring. No music, lights were bright, I know it’s in a hotel but it doesn’t have to feel that way.

Food was exellent. We had the lamb chops and the steak. Both were cooked perfectly and had a very nice presentation. Service was mostly on point and was not intrusive. One thing that was puzzling was that the room of about 25 tables only had 4 tables working; the rest were empty. For a nice venue with really good food, good service, and average prices it made no sense.

Always a good time as it is quiet enough to talk with friends. Excellent food and service. And don't hesitate to ask for the bar menu should you wish for a lighter dinner.

Food was embarrassingly poor. Bone-in Rib Eye steak was pre-sliced and concealed a layer of fat. Steak fries were overdone bordering on burnt. Whipped vegetable was sour, as though pickled. Only dessert was good, my guess is that it wasn’t prepared onsite.

Beautiful setting, with a crackling real fire in the fireplace. Overall, a lovely evening. The prix fixe menu offered varied selections for my group. My dinner was delicious - salads great. Branzino was especially good with healthy and flavorful sides. Surf and turf had the hanger steak with a bit too much charcoal; shrimp were very good. Duck was well prepared but sauce a bit too sweet. Great selection of wines at a surprisingly good prices per bottle. Really enjoyed the Pouilly Fuisse at $42, a hard wine to find and at this price. The wait staff was enthusiastic, however seemed inexperienced.
