I haven’t been to Bistro VG in a few years, and it exceeded my expectations. We ordered the canapé au fromage zucchini soup, and caesar salad for starters. For our entrees we had the short ribs, scallops, and beat salad, you Damion for welcoming my friends from Nebraska and Idaho. Your suggestions were perfect for our pre Mothers Day celebration. The cocktails were amazing! Loved the French 75 and pear martini! Will be back for my birthday.

I hosted a baby sprinkle for a party of 8 right as the restaurant opened and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Our server, Steven, was knowledgable and attentive and provided a very kind champagne (ginger beer for the mommy-to-be) toast and special dessert. We will definitely be back to VG Bistro soon.

We sat outside lovely breeze. Great service by Kevin. We both had the Dover Sole and it was excellent and melted in your mouth. We had two desserts too. All the food was fantastic as well as the service.

Immediately starting with the staff. Our waiter, Steven B., was amazing and was very attentive to our table. The event today was for my girlfriend and I's anniversary and he attended to us the entire time with that energy in mind. He brought out a special dessert at the end that said "Happy Anniversary" which was extremely appreciated. He was very well-spoken and presented himself so nicely. He made his rounds to us often and kept us well taken care of. It's service like this that brings me back to a restaurant. The food consisted of Prosciutto pizza, Smoked Macaroni and cheese, and grilled asparagus and it was amazing. Great portions and the flavor was on point. I had an old fashioned as well and I enjoyed that so much! Must give this restaurant a try.

We have been fans of Bistro VG since it’s previous incarnation as Van Gogh’s (almost 30 years) and although we visit less frequently now, the food, atmosphere and service are always on point! We celebrated our anniversary last night with steamed mussels, beet salad, seared scallops and steak frites with a nice bottle of wine - all were delicious and a good value.

We were greeted promptly and shown to a nice table along the side by patio area. Server Steve was great and we enjoyed an order of hot bread, split a delicious Caesar’s salad(maybe a little over dressed). Ordered the short rib which was a generous portion with delicious potatoes. The Steak & Frits also came perfectly cooked with great fries. Dessert was the orange mirror cake which had a delicious orange flavored vanilla ice cream side. The cake was moist and mousse was perfect.

Went for Easter Brunch. It was underwhelming. Service was inattentive and the food was just not great. We love lunch and dinner but brunch was a miss. Eggs were undercooked. English muffins on Eggs Benny were over cooked and hollandaise was sparse. Will stick to lunch/dinner

It was the best meal I have had in a long time. From start to finish. The best. Thank you, Bistro VG! The Dover sole and the beignets and the wine list and the Caesar salad. Wow. Just well done, Folks. Well done.
