Bistro Ten Zero One - Marriott Palm Beach Ratings and Reviews
We went on Christmas Eve for a prix fixe. it was a great value and included bottomless wine. The rib eye was very tasty. Not a large menu for the special but the regular menu looked very good and others seemed to be enjoying. Our server, Jon, was extremely attentive and friendly. We will definitely go again next time we are in West Palm Beach.
Food was good, service was good. However we made reservations and they only had spots available to very front and very tight quarters. We read online the cost was $30 per person. However it was 45 and there was a service charge of $24 which is based off a percentage, so for a larger party it can add up. This was NOT including a tip. Would have nice for this to be disclosed.
We dined at Bistro last week and were quite impressed with our experience. We were greeted promptly, servers were knowledgeable and offered some great recommendations and the food was outstanding. We'll definitely be back. It would make a great place to go pre-theatre.
We had a hard time finding the restaurant entrance. There was only one other table occupied and it was a business dinner on a Saturday night. Our waiter, Jason, was terrific. The menu was the fixed price special for September. Our favorite appetizers were the wings and the ahi tuna poke. The seafood curry was delicious. For dessert, the Apple tart's crust wasn't flaky. The chocolate cake was delicious. The ice cream had a weird, grainy texture and flavor.
We walked in and was told by bartender to sit anywhere. No hostess and no checking in even though we have a reservation. But the place only had two other tables of guests at 6:30pm on a Saturday night I guess it didn't matter. The waitress gave us the menu and didn't even offer drinks. We had to ask for the flavorPB menu and kids menu. She never gave us two extra plate settings even though we asked for it and there were only two sets at the table. The wings were good. Seafood curry was just ok. 4 small clams two scallops and 2 shrimps. We were not impressed with the service and the food.
Great evening. Enjoyed the poké app as well as the heirloom tomato app.
Excellent yellowtail snapper and pork chop for entrees.
Creme brûlée dessert was terrific.
Jon provided professional service.
Major thanks to the manager Jim for making our evening outstanding and extra special.
We've been staying at this Marriott hotel for the post four days. The friendliness of the service and the attentiveness of the staff to their customers has been outstanding. While the restaurant hasn't always been crowded for dinner, the presentation and food have been remarkable good. Clearly the chef, who by the way has his own local gardens on the property, so the food is literally farm to table, shocking for any hotel.
Our entrees were delicious, served beautifully, hot and the staff have been very sweet and obliging.
we were surprised to be the only customers at 8:00PM. The food items were good, but I think we expected a little bit more. The service was outstanding since we were all alone. As we were ordering desert, a few more tables filled in. Our server said weekends were much busier.
Wanting to go to a pre performance dinner close by the Kravis Center, we tried Bistro for its geographical location.
Walking there along okeechobee boulevard turned out to be a good move.
Service was quick , food good. Menu was a bit limited but nice pairings
Although the menu was limited and there were no "specials" of the day, the skirt steak with Chimichurri was done perfectly. Three of us out of 5 ordered it and agreed. It was tender, cooked as requested with ample portion. It is ala carte. Other diners ordered fish, grouper. There were no complaints. Kravitz is within a lengthy walking distance or catch a shuttle.
Good but not great Sunday brunch. No lox or smoked fish, missing some other items that one would expect at $55/person. But the atmosphere is good, service is friendly, chairs are comfortable, easy parking and access to the restaurant. I think they could step up their game a little and the place would be packed.
Amazing the delicious, creative food selections . The blending of herbs and spices that tickle the palate. Fresh, fresh, fresh seafood, bread, every bite a delight.
The service precise and knowledgeable.
Thank you for this fine dining experience.
The food was okay, the ambiance was not quite what I expected, and the food was definitely a little less than the review on yelp, I was expecting farm to table specialties and got the same old ....adequate, but for a special night out, no! We went early before the show and I guess it was slow because we had no less than 5 different wait staff taking and brining our order... Maybe for lunch or drinks, the bartender was quite good!
From appetizers to dessert,we find the selections offerered incorporate many interesting ingredients. I had the heirloom tomato salad with burrata . Another salad offering was almonds, cherries and greens. Skirt steaks and NY strip were perfectly medium rare. We asked for risotto to accompany the steaks and we were accommodated .
As this was a birthday celebration, a lovely dessert was brought out at the end.
Was looking forward to trying this restaurant based on reviews I had read. It offered convenience to Kravis Center and would be less crowded than City Place. The décor was interesting and the servers were very attentive but that is where the accolades end. Our appetizers were disappointing. The fish chowder arrived lukewarm and had to be sent back to be reheated. The beet salad was sparse on beets. Moreover, the salad was listed as having goat cheese but in reality it was goat cheese dressing. I've never heard of such a thing. The entrees also failed to live up to expectations. The snapper dish looked appealing but was devoid of much taste. The grouper my girlfriend ordered did not even look appealing and she said it tasted like it had been previously frozen. The prices were definitely too high for mediocre food.
The cuisine at Bistro 1001 is reliably delicious and creative. We particularly love the small plates, which allows us to sample many more dishes than if we merely ordered one appetizer and one main course per person. However, the menu choices are always difficult, because the main courses are themselves intriguing. There are always some "familiar" things on the menu plus some new dishes that the Chef has created; dining here is never boring! This time, three of us shared nine "small" plates plus one dish each to ourselves. What a feast! From old favorites like Ahi Tuna Guacamole with Bonito Chips to wonderful new creations like Pork Tacos (unlike any other we've ever seen), everything was scrumptious. Service was excellent also as usual.
