We love Bistro San Martin and will come back and refer our friends and family to visit.
Our group of 4 came for dinner, our first time here. Very pleased with the ambiance, service and food. We all ordered something different from the menu, and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was comfortable, relaxing and had wonderful service. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We did not feel pressured or rushed, just a really nice evening out. We also ordered desserts, which were wonderfully decadent! We will definitely be coming back.
My husband and I had a wonderful time. The manager and staff were very friendly. The food was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back.
Always a wonderful experience! Food, atmoshpere and location are a plus for us in the northend of the pnw!
It’s always a treat to come to the Bistro! Steve is so warm and welcoming and the food there is consistently the best we’ve had! We’ll be back soon!
Best place between Seattle and Vancouver. And as good as the best places in either city.
Great Food, Friendly staff. We have been here 3 times now and have
not been disappointed yet. I would prefer this restaurant over Anthony's in Everett .
Besides they are located in Arlington, not far from me.
Went for my Birthday and who would have thought that Arlington has such a Gourmet place. The food was prepared beautify and the menu had enough verity to give all people options. I will say the only thing that was a bit of a downer was the server maybe she was having an off day....I got the feeling she really did not want to be there. Save room for desert it is really delicious. Yes I will recommend this place and yes I will go back.
We had an exceptional dinner. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. I am 76 years old and this by far one of the best meals I have had. We have been to St Martins twice and both times it was the same experience. We drive over 45 miles to go there and pass many other restaurants on the way knowing that they can not provide the food or service we will receive at St Martin's.
Always excellent. A long lingering full dinner experience is always a joy here.
We'd heard about Bistro San Martin and were waiting for the right occasion to come to know it for ourselves. My husband's birthday fit the bill so we drove up to Arlington to see for ourselves if it was as good as everyone says it is. We were not disappointed! To start we had the mushroom pastry appetizer and the caesar salad. For our entrees, my husband had the new york steak and I had the flat iron steak. The steaks were perfect! I was surprised at how thick my flat iron was and the entrees were substantial! The service was great - we were greeted by the owner, and our waiter and other staff were attentive but did not hover. We truly had a great time and will be back!
Just fantastic! Most friendly and attentive personal, with outstanding food and attention to details.
The San Martin Bistro Is a wonderful dining experience. The ambience is casual and comfortable, the service is superb, and the food was amazing!
Wonderful food and service. Went here for a special birthday dinner. On the higher priced end. Recommend to anyone out for a special occasion. Steve was awesome!
I love having this restaurant in our home town. Don't have to drive far for this 5 star meal.
Great food and friendly staff. We have been to the restaurant a couple of times and have not been disappointed with anything.
Very friendly, great food and service. We sat at the front window and the sun was a bit too much on my husband.
Food here is always amazing. Staff is always great. Never had a bad experience.
One of if not the most perfectly cooked lobsters I’ve ever had
We try and go there once every few months. Always exceptional--in an area that has too few decent restaurants.
Great food and sevice! Would recommend to anyone.----------=-
Service by Christine was amazing. She is an artist at her craft! Food very tasty too.
I have been eating here for years. The food is absolutely amazing. The service is outstanding and very accommodating. Definitely worth the drive from just about anywhere for the experience. I highly recommend the Giant Scallops!!!!
From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the manager our experience was wonderful. There were 3 in our party and we each opted for salad instead of appetizers. They were delicious! Then our meals arrived and were superb! We tried a couple desserts to share and again were blown away by this small town Bistro. We will definitely go back.
The food was awesome. Fine dining in Arlington...who knew. Very attentive staff. Love it here and we will be back
Always great food, clever, creative dishes. Terrific owner, chef abd superb waitstaff
Service was attentive, without being overwhelming. Was set to order the chicken, however the Center cut Pork Chop (on special) was wonderful. What a nice surprise. Definitely will come back soon.
The appetizers were great, as well as our entrees. We had Baked Tiger Prawns and the Prawn Linguini. My only complaint, if you will, was only one type Riesling by the glass, and the pastry on my dessert was tough. The last time I had a similar dessert there it was so light and tasty. It was an apple dish with pastry. The service was awesome.
Went to San Martin for a birthday. Had heard that the food was really good and it was. Was expensive but you do get a Adequate amount of food for your dollar. Would go again if someone else was paying.
Excellent wine list!
Rave!!!! Went for date night at Bistro San Martin last night in Arlington and it did not disappoint! I had roast duck, drizzled in cherry sauce and the best risotto 👌🏼 Hubs had crab cakes, smashed potatoes and we started with escargot. Local WA wine and great manhattan martinis made with pendleton whiskey 👌🏼service was great. In terms of price, definitely splurged a little but great to support an amazing restaurant in our home town!
This was our fourth meal at Bistro San Martin and it did NOT disappoint. We were celebrating three of the four attendees retirements. What a treat. It seemed like every taste was punctuated by multiple OOOs and AHHs. It is always worth the drive from Seattle AND now TWO more have placed this restaurant at the top of their list.
Bistro San Martin never disappoints.
Belated Valentines dinner...
The atmosphere was warm, quaint, friendly and relaxing.
The staff is very attentive but not overwhelmingly so.
From the appetizers to the last sip of wine, truly extraordinary.
It’s the type of place where everyone makes it a priority to know your name.
They take pride in making sure your experience is a great one.
What a gem of a bistro! I chose items from the specials menu and was not disappointed! I shall return regularly - even though the drive is 50 minutes from home.
Nothing beats the bistro! It’s our first choice for. Special occasion or just a night out. The food is always perfect and Steve , Martin & staff go above and beyond
I love this place every time I go. I'll pay for good food and service. They also have some really nice wines. I've never had anything I don't like here. I absolutely love the atmosphere also.
After reading all the impressive reviews, and realizing this place was only 15 minutes from home. I decided to take my wife there for her birthday. It was a special occasion as this is the first time I've been home for her birthday in 15 years. I can say that we have discovered a gem, and will be making this a new regular date night restaurant. The food was out of this world, the strawberry prawns, and mushroom puff pastry are a must! Can't wait to explore this chefs menu even more as we frequent this fine bistro. Our service was perfect. Thanks for,the secret sauce:)
We had a really great time and I really liked the food presentation , very classy and artistic. Best Lobster I have ever had! It was Cooked perfectly. The staff was so accommodating and nice . We were surprised when we noticed our daughter and her husband were dining there as well. The Bistro owner and staff graciously moved tables so we could dine together and fixed our meals to arrive at the same time. What service!
This was our third time at the restaurant, and we were disappointed how much it changed since we were last there. It has expanded into another shop space for more seating, but they didn't expand the kitchen to accommodate for the more food orders that are coming in. It took an hour until we got our appetizer and another hour until we got our entree due to how busy it was. We also couldn't get seated until 30 minutes after we showed up on time for our reservations. I was thinking that it being the Saturday after Valentine's day that was the reason for the busy night but it was more due to the increase of tables the staff now have to serve. The food was all amazing though!!!
