Bistro San Martin
In addition to high-quality meats and poultry, we also offer sustainable seafood, amazing soups and irresistible desserts.
Vegetarian and gluten-free entrees are created upon request.
Always delicious and fantastic. We never get tired of coming here and introducing to our friends. Great staff and amazing food. Every time.
Excellent restaurant. The service is first rate and the food is superb.
It is a bit crowded and the nise level is rather high but everything else makes this a worthwhile stop.
The food is always amazing, but the service hardly visits your table.
Filet & lobster and poached pear salad was DELICIOUS! Also, enjoyed the wine by the bottle selection.
My family has been going here for special occasions for years. The food is always prepared in a visually appealing way, and it always tastes of quality and freshness. I have no serious complaints, other than when we arrived to a mostly empty restaurant on our date that I made reservations for, we were offered a choice of very small tables both right next to the only other couple in that area of the restaurant. It made it a little cramped and uncomfortable for us, as we prefer to have some space (especially when there was plenty of space elsewhere, and when offered we always prefer the larger room on the left side of the entrance). Other than that, the food was good and we left content - and will be back!
Love their food and it is so beautiful! I always order the chicken because I love it. My husband loves the prawns
Our dining experience was very pleasant from the service, cocktails, appetizers, main courses to dessert. The steamed clam appetizer and pork tenderloin with blueberry sauce were delicious!!
We will be back!!
When we want to enjoy a special meal out, we often come here. The food is always great and the service friendly and accommodating . Highly recommended.
Bistro San Martin is the best restaurant in the county, some of the best food in the Puget Sound area.
Wonderful service, delicious food and presentation. We celebrated out 55 anniversary here. This is a real treat, since we don't splurge often.
These folks are consistently excellent. I’ve dined there countless times over many years.
Love this place!
Hidden gem in Arlington. Rivals any high end restaurant in Seattle. Great food, service, and ambiance.
Fresh ingredients exceptionally prepared. Beet and chevres salad-beets were the star of the plate. Prawn and crab cocktail was very sweet. Both entrees-fillet mignon and roasted half chicken were perfectly prepared.
Great birthday dinner for my girl! Thanks again!
Always a fantastic menu. Would always choose this place for a very special dinner or to take guests for dinner.
Love all the staff!
A gem in out-of-the-way Arlington, this casually elegant restaurant is our go-to place for special occasions or anytime we want a real treat. The extensive appetizer menu, specialty cocktails and desserts are faves of ours, (especially the chocolate cake) and the entrees are creative, flavorful and most importantly, consistently excellent. Add to that the cozy, yet sophisticated decor, the welcoming host/owner Steve, cheerful, attentive waitstaff and of course, the talented owner/Chef Martin, the Bistro is well deserving 5 stars in every category. I have mixed feelings about giving this review, because it is a little stretch to get a table when we decide at the last minute to treat ourselves, and sometimes (rarely) we can't get a reservation exactly at the time we want, but if you plan ahead - it's worth it!
Amazing food and service...and we loved watching the chefs prep
I haven't had a bad experience at the Bistro. I don't know if it's possible.
Our 2nd trip here and was just as wonderful as our first visit. Very good food! Wonderful service and a quiet location.
We have eaten here on previous occasions and are always impressed with the quality of the food and service. This is a fantastic restaurant. The chef, Martin, is creative and amazing. If you love high quality food, give this restaurant a try, especially if it’s a special occasion to celebrate.
This is a wonderful place that we love every time we go in. Steve is a great host and walks around visiting all the tables. Martin never disappoints making some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. Entrees are creative, beautifully presented and flavorful. Don’t skip dessert!
The Bistro San Martin is close to my home in Arlington, but if I had to travel from Seattle I would still come. The restaurant has a very warm ambiance, the choice of art work on the walls is very taste full. But I did not come to admire the art, the food is as always a treat for the pallet. Martin, the head chef is a world class saucier, what ever soup that Martin is offering, by all means have the soup. The rainbow of flavors is always a treat. The steaks and seafood never disappoint. And the crab cakes at Bistro San Martin are my benchmark for comparing with any other restaurant. In the Puget Sound area, this is the top of the mark.
It’s my favorite!!! Amazing food! Amazing service and warm cozy atmosphere with beautiful art!
Steve is great and good is amazing agin! Keep going back due to just a great place. See ya soon!
Amazing food and a great staff. It was our anniversary and our waiter brought us chocolate cake with a candle wishing us a happy anniversary! On top of that, the cake was complimentary! Amazing place, we will definitely be back again.
Great meal for Arlington. Chef was attentive and asked about our meal. Wonderful fresh sheet very seasonal.
We love SAN Martin And always celebrate our Anniversary or special occassion
The best food around
Love it when the owner always is friendly and sees how everything is.
Highly recommend and it’s a hidden treasure for sure
Great food and service, will definitely be returning!
Had a wonderful evening with my lovely wife. We were greeted and served warmly. Our server was gracious and enjoyed sharing some tips and suggestions off the menu. Dinner was wonderful and might I recommend the rack of lamb?
We like to go here for special occasions. This time we took friends of 48 years to celebrate 100 years of marriage--49 for them and 51 for us. They are still talking about how much they enjoyed this evening and all four of us had exemplary food. We will be guests here again in a couple of weeks with other visitors.
A memorable experience dining at Bistro San Martin. Fantastic restaurant experience because of the superb staff and owners. This was my second visit in 2 years because I live out of state but I will return every chance I get. All the dishes were great. Calamari, escargot, steak and lobster, etc, etc. The wine list is impressive and I tend to go for the pricier choices just because it showcases the best producers in Washington for not much of a mark up. Also because I instantly feel that it’s a special occasion to be there. How lucky that little, ol’ Arlington has this gem.
We had dinner on Saturday Night 09/01/18 and we enjoyed our 18th wedding anniversary in high style. This is our favorite restaurant and will come back again.
First time at Bistro San Martin with my girlfriend. Ordered NY steak and she tried the halibut. Food exceeded our expectations and our server, Rebecca, was first rate. Good coffee and a special apple tart with caramel sauce and ice cream finished off our wonderful dining experience!
As always, the food was very, very good. The service was impeccable. I will go here for any special occasion as the whole experience beats most other restaurants in Snohomish county and beyond.
Unfortunately, the escargot appetizer was not as flavorful as we expected and the flat iron steak that came with the lobster was flavorful but extremely tough. The waiter offered to give us a different flat iron steak, but by then it seemed like too much food.
Great service and staff. Wine menu is extensive. Food specials are always very good. The menu is varied and everything is wonderful.
Awesomeness personified. Seamless accommodation for my father on his 91st birthday. Great food and fabulous service. What more could you ask for?
Our dining at the Bistro on August 25th was for our 34th wedding anniversary, my husband had the steak and lobster which he enjoyed but my order of the crab cake dinner was awful...my dinner was COLD and the crab cakes were very strong...when they are that strong it could be the crab was not fresh or was frozen, ultimately I could not eat my entree...it was on a Saturday evening so the restaurant was packed and the waitress did not check on us till my husband finished his dinner, which the waitress did remove the charge for my dinner so my 34th wedding anniversary dinner consisted of a salad and a desert. I had planned our dinner in advance and I feel cheated out of the experience it should have been, I’m not sure if I’ll return to the Bistro again.
Absolutely the best value in fine cuisine in Western Washington. Consistently excellent taste and temperature.
