The food was good. I did not like the background music. (It was a continuous loud beat that was repetitive like a synthesizer.

Excellent food and service, but very strange, and more than a little repulsive, to see numerous half-naked, bare-chested men and women in bikinis parading through the restaurant while we were eating. A man only in bathing trunks was escorted to a table near ours where he then put on a shirt. Bad manners or a bad restaurant policy? Isn't this the Ritz Carlton???

I just don't get all the positive reviews. The plating presentation and especially the prices say elegant, but um no. The restaurant is situated outside on one end of a large hotel pool but it's trying to be elegant, and poolside with the kids running around is no place for an elegant (expensive) meal. There's also an inside area, but it kind of feels like they put tables in a wide hallway between the pool and the stairways... again, hardly elegant. The hotel as a whole (the Ritz-Carlton) and the restaurant in particular seems like it's a shell of what it perhaps used to be, and you just get the impression that it's trying to be something it just isn't. The service was terribly slow (it took almost 30 minutes to see our drinks, and at 50 minutes in, we didn't yet have our appetizers) and the server gave us reasons and excuses but no apologies, and it didn't get any better after we mentioned it. I ordered Cobia off the MIAMI SPICE menu (a regional prix fixe deal) and the serving was very small... my brother ordered Sea Bass off the regular menu and the serving was easily FOUR TIMES the size (and Sea Bass isn't cheap), so I suspect the "prix fixe" meals are smaller -- supported by the tiny tiny piece of Key Lime Tart that was the prix fixe dessert. (My wife got the prix-fixe pasta, which was a generous portion, but it's pasta so they can give that away). Oh, and the cocktails start at $17 ($14 for a glass of wine)!! Oh, and they added 18% to our check without mentioning it (for a party of three?!?). Dinner for three with 2 of us getting the prix-fixe "bargain" and 3 cocktails and 1 glass of wine between us was $270!! YIKES! What a waste.

Went here for my Mother's 64th birthday and had DJ was our server. He was amazing and made every moment special.

$150 a person brunch seems high for event this place. I have seen better brunches here so I will come back but today was definitely off. Service was amazing and always the best here. The food was just off today.

first of all when i saw the open table i saw a price of 69.00 and i sais of i will go there instead of the others.
low and behold i was shock when i receive the bill. for 7 person in the area of $ 1,104.00. it took me by suprise as it was not that fab.
cant say i will come back soon , the ambeince was good but the price no.

Wonderful Brunch! Might just be the best in Miami! Selection, service, ambiance and value for money all 5 stars. The mealside mini cocktails are a very nice added touch. British bartender (sorry I forgot his name) went over and above the call of duty to accommodate our every need. Truly exceptional.

Sunday brunch was top-notch. The food and service were impeccable. Among the highlights were oysters, crab claws, sushi, unlimited champagne and mimosas, freshly grilled meats such as rack of lamb and ribs. The $79 price seems high until you add up what all of your food would cost in a restaurant.

We were excited to visit for brunch on New Year's Day. The waiter told us right away that the selection was now limited and used to be much bigger. We noticed that the stone crab claws and oysters that were on the on line brunch menu were missing. Roast beef was the highlight. There was no Bloody Mary bar. Bottomless Mimosa was an extra 30$ per person on top of the 55$ for brunch. They were understaffed but water was very nice (running so hard he was sweating). Overall it was OK but would not highly recommend. The Ritz should do better.

The service was absolutely excellent, I got the Octopus to start off with and the delivery time was pretty quick. Our entrees though took quite some time and the serving was small. It was an overall great experience, just wish the food wouldn't have taken as long as it did considering we were the only ones there for over two hours.

Flat service, flat food, flat atmosphere !!!
A couple things from menu , specifically STEAK , there was only one available in restaurant !!!! No excuses, no apologies either.... Will never, ever go back !!!! Not worth your hard earned money !

I found the food to be subpar. My fish was overcooked and the wait to receive it was unacceptable. My wife's order was bungled and the server did not seem to care. When we finally received the correct meal, it was cold. I would highly recommend others spending their money elsewhere. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in Miami.

It was nothing to write home about due it seem like a back yard pool laying around after it rained. It had nothing to attract someone who like fine dining . It was a bad pick for me and my guest.

We all had the Miami spice menu. Food was very good. It was interesting and nicely flavored. The main course was a rather small portion. Very creative food and presentation.

PJ was an excellent server. Enjoyed our time with him.

Restaurant was very quiet (+++++) though I suspect that was because we were the only diners!

The service was exceptional. The ambiance was okay but please note that you are dining by the pool. Kids will be running and screaming next to you. Food was okay. Highly recommend for Miami Spice but I would not return for full cost meal.
Frankly the food was the least memorable. Again, staff was excellent.

Overall we had an enjoyable day, our waitress was friendly and the service was very good.

The quality of the food was good but the selection was very limited compared to the many buffet brunches that we have dined at around the world including other Ritz Carltons.

We don't mind how much we pay to dine out but we really don't feel that this brunch was worth the price that the hotel charged.

We requested a table for two outside and were given a table by the door where people were walking in and out with their suitcases, it felt a little intrusive.

During my stay at the Ritz I dined at the Bistor for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My server was Ioanni, he was an excellent waiter and very tactful. He was accomodating . Best service !

This was our 1st time here & we enjoyed it so much, we returned a 2nd evening while on biz in Miami Beach. Cindy, or server was personable & correctly attentive. The small plate grilled octopus & gazpacho were superb !! Mahi-mahi & filet perfectly prepared w/chopped spinach salad were exceptional! Chef Mario came to our table to receive our accolades personally. We will return.

We came to the Ritz for their bottomless brunch this Sunday, and it was absolutely divine! We were welcomed by smiley, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us to make sure we were having a good time. There was a huge variety of delicious food, from eggs, pancakes and pastries for breakfast, freshly made sushi, sashimi and seafood - the sushi chef even made us our own sushi rolls at request which were perfect! Then the roast beef and lamb cutlets were perfectly cooked and very tasty, with perfect accompaniments like creamy scalloped parmesan potatoes... YUMM! Deserts of course were beautifully presented and tasted even better!
Along with mimosas and bloody marys made to order, there were little cocktail pairings with each food station, all of them delcious and a lovely idea!
All in all our experience at Bistro One was exceptional, and I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Miami! Many thanks to all of the staff who made our experience so special! :-)

This was our second time enjoying the Sunday brunch -- both times for our wedding anniversary. The food is excellent and the customer service was superb! Brunch by the pool in Miami? What more can you ask for?!? I can't wait to come back in two years. That seems to be our unspoken schedule!

Bistro One was fantastic. The food was great and the service was excellent. After waiting over 25 minutes to be served at DiLido Beach Club down stairs, our waitress greeted us and then went along to be very attentive to others who seemed to be regulars and had their beverages in front of them in less than 5 minutes we decided to head into the hotel to check out Bistro One. Although quite disappointed with our experience at DiLido, Bistro One turned out to be the exact opposite; our waiter, Ioannis, was fantastic, very attentive to us and our early teen daughters. Thank you for turning our visit around at the Ritz.

Brunch on a sunny Sunday was brilliant. Genuinely free-flow champagne, special (delicious) cocktails but above all an outstanding brunch buffet with an incredible range of food choices of the highest quality. And our waiter, Jason, went the extra mile to make sure we had a perfect time.

We love brunches by the swimming pool at Ritz. Sometimes we celebrate birthdays, sometimes Christmas. Last Sunday family gathering. Our waiter Nizar was outstanding- he took great care of us! Very attentive!The food ( nice selection of 4 caviars ), ceviche, oysters, deserts and many other items- freshly prepared and tasty! we did not even miss the musician! Our palates were pampered!

As a Marriott Rewards owner, I was totally disappointed with the service and ambiance of Bistro One LR. It was my wifes birthday on Febr. 13th and mine was Feb. 14th. We reserved a reservation for the evening of Feb. 14th, and upon arrival I explained to the hostess that this was a special evening for us.
After being seated for about 20mins, we were never approached by a server, actually I had to stop a server and ask for water for our table and a cup of tea. About 10mins later we received the water, but never got the tea. We then was totally disappointed as we expected top class service from such a top class brand of Marriott.
As we were leaving we were approached by another hostess name Debbrieann, who pleaded with us not to leave and allow her to make our night much better than what we had experienced. We decided to do this after she seemed very sincere and apologetic for the terrible service we had received.
I must say had it not been for Debrieann and our new server Lidia, our birthday night would have been totally disastrous. I must say they attended to our every need and made sure that everything we ordered came out just perfect, so I would like to compliment both Debrieann and Lidia for this awesome service.
As for the ambiance, I was totally disappointed as we were dressed for a nice upscale restaurant, which we assumed Bistro One LR would be seeing that it is in the Ritz Carlton. The dress code is very laid back as there were persons in shorts and sweat shirts. I doubt we would ever be going back to Bistro One LR and we would certainly not be recommending them to any of our friends.
