About Bistro Nolah
We named our restaurant Bistro Nolah, an acronym for New Orleans, out of a love for the style
of comfort food they serve down south. This style of food is the inspiration behind some of the dishes we serve at Nolah

Bistro Nolah Ratings and Reviews
Bistro Nolah never disappoints - we have been at least 8 times over the last number of years and always enjoy the food . Whether for a family celebration or special guests visiting we are always happy with our choices . The beauty of Nolah’s is that the menu is not huge , the portions are perfect and the seafood is always perfectly cooked - the chef knows what he is doing !
Overall this was a good experience. Small place, friendly staff, nice slightly noisy ambiance. The food was great: the hurricane was wonderful :) crab cakes soooo good .. delicious salad. I ordered the mac and cheese which was good but way too much and too filling (could only have less than a quarter) ... brought it home and my boys who finished it over two days . Got the bread pudding to go too (as I was full at dinner but wanted to try it) it was amazing ... honestly a must try ... I think the best I've ever had. ..the resto lives up to the great reviews but, as mentioned before, it is a bit pricey.
The scallops were one of the best i have ever had. They were tasty and tender. The wife had the shrimp and the was plenty and the were very tasty. The grits were a surprise as they were not the traditional grits found in the southern US. Overall experience was great and definitely worth a return visit
Incredible ambience and great culinary experience . Never had Creole inspired food before and I have to say .. my boyfriend and I were blown away. The terasse is beautifully lit for a romantic evening ! Everything was magnificent and delicious :) try the grits!!!
It was my first time going to Nolah for the Sunday brunch. It was very good but not as good as dinner.
Great experience! I had the smoked ham, poached eggs and creole hollandaise sauce. Was very very good but heavy. My fiance has the fried chicken and french toast. It was good but I have had it better at other places.
Overall, good brunch, lives up to Nolah standards but i found it pricey for brunch (2 people cost around 55$) I much prefer dinner.
Food was very good. Grilled octopus was awesome with the black rice. I also had shrimp and grits which was very good too. Grits very creamy and shrimps spiced just right. My partner had the mac and cheese and loved it.
Restaurant is small and was particularly noisy as there were a couple of larger groups. Maybe not a place to go for a quiet romantic supper.
We went there the first time with our trainer he had the best food there and brought 4 of us then I told my friends we try to get together at least once a month so I bragged about the food and they were not disappointed their food was outstanding and the desserts were so good we brought some for our husbands ( bread pudding ) my husband loved it. We are going back for sure now I have to take my hubby to try it Thank You for the good food
The food was fabulous. The service was the best. The place small and quaint, I would recommend this to my friends and whoever else would listen the ambience Is fantastic. One thing I got to say is I really want to try the Jambolaya but it wasn't on the menu so that means I will have to go back
Nolah is consistently terrific! The cuisine is one of the very best on the west island of Montreal and their service is always lovely! You cannot go wrong with any of their dishes, although one of my personal favourites is the shrimp creole! And of course, you must try their delectable bread pudding!
