We named our restaurant Bistro Nolah, an acronym for New Orleans, out of a love for the style
of comfort food they serve down south. This style of food is the inspiration behind some of the dishes we serve at Nolah

We went for brunch. The Food was great. I kind of expected the chicken (from my French toast and fri d chicken plate) to have a bit of heat but it was still delicious.

Servers were courteous and pleasant but never came back to offer more coffee or water.

We have been to Nolah twice before. Absolutely loved the food and our experience both times. This was our first time trying brunch and once again Nolah did not disappoint.
Nolah is quickly becoming our go to spot for anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions.

We love this restaurant and it is definitely one that we frequent. Never disappoints on food or service, the staff is always so nice and knowledgable. We went for Valentine's Day and they had a set menu which was delicious with every last bite.

We Went for Valentines Day -fixed menu with delicious offerings ! Started with chorizo and shrimp brochette; I had cheese ravioli with lobster in consommé and date had duck confit taco; main meal we both chose horseradish crusted cod on top of sweet potatoe purée and seasonal veggies; dessert we both chose deep fried bread pudding with jack Daniels sauce . Very delicious meal thruout and service impressive! Only glitch was tables to close to one another which made it very tight .

We were a group of nine for brunch so we had to have a fixed menu. We had four options; catfish tacos, duck confit Benedict, chicken and waffles, and a shrimp po boy. Everything was tasty but not as good as I was hoping. Dinner menu is waaaaay better and their shrimp and grits are to die for! Will I be back? Yes but not for brunch

Chicken and Waffles, Grits plate are excellent.
Save room for the bread pudding and mud pie.

One word: outstanding. I have nothing to add but this silly app requires a min 50 character review.

Authentic New Orleans taste. Amazing food
Friendly staff. I have a few food intolerances and the cook was more than willing to make a few changes to his recipe to allow me to order what I wanted. Great job guys.

I would have gladly rated 4 stars but sadly the steak was well done instead of medium rare.
Quite the culinary faux pas considering the cost of this plate!
Do not order the steak!

Service was friendly but the food was quite disappointing considering the reviews. We had to return the shrimp gumbo as it tasted like a bottle of beef bouillon had been dropped in it. The shrimp creole was eatable but not very flavourful. Afterwards, the latte was barely warm and the pecan chocolate desert was overloaded with Nutella. For what it is worth, we did start with Martinis and those were excellent!

Got together with old friends and we were all very happy with our experiences. One was gluten free and she had no problems finding an appetizer and main meal. Another friend is allergic to cheese and likewise he had many options to choose from. Out of 5, we were all super happy with our meals and great service. The Mac n cheese is delicious but the portion was huge!

Amazing brunch as always. The restaurant was quite busy but the service was as good as usual. Great Mimosas! Really interesting brunch menu.....savory or sweet, whichever you prefer. Fabulous coffee. Just a great place to go for brunch or any other meal for that matter. Lovely time as always, very enjoyable, highly recommend.

This was my first visit to NOLAH. I came here for my 37th birthday. The ambiance was nice and the service was good. However to my surprise part of my meal was disappointing. I ordered the fried chicken and French toast. My chicken was full of fatty pieces/deposits through out. I tried picking through the chicken to remove them and just eventually lost my appetite because there were a lot. The quality cut of the chicken versus the cost I paid was not up to par. The French toast was good and I enjoyed that.

Our first time here and as soon as we stepped in, heard the jazz that we like and saw the candlelit atmosphere, we anticipated a nice evening. We were not disappointed, though a little on the pricey side. My husband mentioned Bistro Nolah was a "nice discovery" and our server, Matthew, was very knowledgeable... describing the dishes like a connaisseur. The chef offered a complimentary "amuse-gueule" of salmon cakes. My husband enjoyed the crab cake appetizer and I had the fried oyster (fishier than I remember oyster being... NOT the Bistro's fault at all, but mine). Then, I had the ravioli special dish with blue cheese (nice) and my husband had grits with his meal, for the first time in his life (he LOVED it... soaked with cheese and cream helped). We finished on Matthew's recommendation, with the Bread Pudding with Bourbon sauce. It was good but since we both do not drink hard liquor, found the Bourbon somewhat too much (but for Bourbon lovers it would be delicious). We plan on coming back! Thank you :)
