of comfort food they serve down south. This style of food is the inspiration behind some of the dishes we serve at Nolah

Moderate price delicious food very nice service. Will come again fro sure.
Wonderful meal with friends. Richard and Chris never disappoint!!
Great food, bad service. Waitresses spent more time cleaning and storing glasses than attending to clients.
Over priced- very small capacity- food was average and small portion.
Food and service were very good. Overall experience diminished as we were "pressed" to leave in order to vacate tables for 2nd service. Did not have time for coffees or dessert.
Was very loud once it started to fill up with people, food wasn't great - my wife had the duck confit and it was over cooked by a lot.
we also sat near the window and it happen to be right by the heater as well ... it started to get overly warm during our meal.
Outstanding restaurant...really enjoyed it very much...cozy and great service...excellent food and presentation
Un peu bruillant mais tout étqit excellent.
Effecient, knowledgeable, professional, friendly staff. Food as usual well presented and perfectly prepared.
My guest & I enjoyed our lunch. He said his Blackened Salmon was cooked perfectly.
Service was a tad slow considering it was a weekday lunchtime.
Noise level in a small room, not overly busy, was pretty elevated.
As always a great experience at Bistro Nolah. Attentive service, fantastic food - what more can you ask for. The gumbo was excellent and the blackened cod fish perfect.
Lovely place, limited tables, excellent food and great service. We've been there over 5 times and never had anything but a great experience.
As usual, the food, the service, the ambience are simply amazing!
Would love to have seen a better wine selection from them.
We dove into our meal with abandon. The wait staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is small batch, filled with the flavour of Louisiana. Spicy, fun, layered and gorgeous.
Complimentary hush puppies greet you when you are seated in an intimate bright interior.
We had Louisiana crab cakes, shrimp gumbo, braised short ribs with mash and roasted parsnips, shrimp jambalaya and Mississippi mud pie to end a great meal.
Trust me. The appetizers are big enough to share as is the decadent dessert.
Although we did not have wine they have a beautiful selection to compliment your meal.
Not my first or last time at this little gem of a restaurant tucked into an inauspicious corner along St. Jean blvd.
Nice place. Great food. Great service.
Table d’hôte for lunch was great but doesn’t include the coffee... not a big thing but kind of weird to be charged $4,50 for a small regular coffee
Excellent food and top notch service. Wonderful hidden restaurant in a strip mall at the corner of St-Jean and Heaven. In DDO.
Food and service was very high quality.looking forward to dining put on the terrace in the summer time.
Food was great. Staff was very nice. However, we were cut short by 9 minutes as you had to give away our table. Your website made it clear about having to leave the table in two hours. It was not quite two hours. Very disappointed
attach cork sound absorbing panels to the walls. way too noisy
C'était ma 4 iemme visites. Excellente nouriture et bon service mais désolé il y a vraiment trop de bruit.
My new go to place....only thing it takes a long time to get their amazing homemade buns to nibble on before the meal.
One of my favourite restaurants on the West Island. Great cajun shrimp and the food never fails to impress clients and friends alike.
It's not my first time at Bistro Nolah but it was my first time having their Sunday brunch, as usual the flavours were unexpected and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I said that we need to keep coming back until we've tried everything on their menu!
This time I had the breakfast casserole: I loved the flavour and it was a very hearty meal. However, I would've loved if I could've had the option to have a smaller portion of the casserole as a side with the pancakes or waffles.
My boyfriend had their special, a fried chicken burger with potatoes. I can only assume it was great because it was gone so quickly and my boyfriend, a tough critic, said he loved it.
We also shared the Jack Daniels bread pudding for dessert. It was really good but the Jack Daniels flavour is VERY strong. I would've preferred if it had been more subtle.
We've eaten at NOLAH pretty regularly for the last couple of years and it has never disappointed. Whether we order off the set menu, or get one of the specials, the quality of the food never varies from a very high level and the service is absolutely on-point. A gem!
The food was excellent. I had the ribs and my husband had the shrimp jambalaya. The seasonings were perfect and the portions were good. We received the food quickly. We also really enjoyed the free hush puppy with spicy sauce as well as the homemade biscuits.
I had a drink - Miss Julep - which was flavourful.
Service was prompt and professional.
We enjoyed a wonderful supper and will return soon.
Not my first time at Nolah. This time we were a group of 5. The food is always good but the waitress we had did not want to be there. She was rude from the start and barely spoke a dozen words to us all night. Our presence was a bother to her. When I told her about my friend’s allergy to nuts and chocolate she rolled her eyes and went back to the kitchen.
We all ordered spicy dishes but didn’t receive a refill on water until we were able to flag her down once we were all done. She didn’t say thank you at the end of the night while we were processing our payments WITH tip.
She didn’t come over or apologize when she set a hot coffee in front of my friend’s 8 month old daughter who immediately lunges for for it and burned herself. It’s ok though we used our own Kleenex to wipe up the mess and wipes to cool her skin down.
When I made the reservation I wasn’t advised that we only had the table for two hours. She did tell us tho as we were eating out dessert that we had two minutes to clear out so thanks for the take out boxes.
The food is always good here but sucks how much a server’s attitude can dampen your night from the moment you sit down.
Absolutely delicious! Went for dinner with my husband to celebrate my birthday and it was the perfect choice. Highly recommend the crab cakes, pan seared scallops, duck confit, beignets and the chocolate torte. The service was great and we took our time and were not rushed at all. We will definitely be back!
The food and the service are excellent. The only issue with this restaurant, the 2 times I went, is the noise level. It is very noisy. The people voices and the music compete. I would suggest to lower a bit the music when the restaurant is full or nearly full.
We had a great lunch ! The shrimp bisque soup was delicious.
The main coarse’s were great, the salade with the greatest fried moist tender chicken , the featured blackened salmon was perfection with just the right amount of heat and finally the third dish was an Italian/New Orléans sandwich ‘ muffuletta’with roasted/seasoned young potatoes.
And don’t leave without having the dessert with Jack Daniels sauce ...!
I had heard great things and my experience was phenomenal. Great service for the lunch hour and what to say about the food apart from: it was awesome! I’m already planning on going back in the next few weeks.
Always a fun experience. The downside this time was that our server seemed impatient and uninterested. She never came back to check in.
The food sells itself for sure. I recommend this place 100%
to be honest i was expecting a lot tastier food. it was not bad but i was expecting more.
prices are fair.
the service was okay but not the warmest , friendliest staff.
i think the ambience could have been better.
it is a small resto so it felt crammed, and my table was right by the doorway so there was a cold draft.
Everything is good, everything! Pain perdu is a must for desert.
Very good cajun food. It was only 2 of us. Small inside and Nice atmosphere. Would go back.
I think the food was good but overpriced.
A girlfriend and me went for lunch. The service to receive the full meal was long. Bread (awesome freshly baked) came after I was almost finished with my soup. Go when you have “time” to eat/unwind. My gf and me dis just that somit bothered us less.
Waitresses were pleasant.
Food was much better than I expected as I have been to New Orleans numerous times. The male waiter (I forget his name) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy and plan to go back. Yes it is pricey but worth it.
Went there for breakfast/brunch for the first time. The food was awesome! Original menu.
Excellent food and service as always! Amelie and the rest of the team were great as always.
Everything was great except for the noise level. The restaurant is quite small with vaulted ceilings which seem to amplify sound.
Food and service was top notch !
